Dave and his crew were fantastic! We were without heat and had a clogged chimney. Called Dave and they were here to take care of it within a couple hours. They also came back the next day to put a chimney liner in- it was super difficult, but they stayed and got it figured out. Their cleanup is great! They left me no mess at all. And prices were great as well!

After dealing with two really shady companies I found America ‘s Best. Dave was a life saver. He inspected, cleaned our fire places and blocked off another one. While he was here he offered my husband some advice and help on things he was doing. He was very knowledgeable, quick and trust worthy. If you are looking for a someone you can trust call America’s Best. Thank you Dave.

David and his crew bricked up a fireplace, removed/repaired a built in A/C unit wall (bricked the hole) and repaired some bad gutters for us. They worked hard all day, did a great cleanup and were professional. I will definitely be using this company in the future. Thank you David, Ed and Tom!

Original call was for a chimney inspection. Chimney didn’t have a liner, unknown to us. David gave us options and advised that his company could do the aforementioned repairs. Showed up the next day and was done by 5pm.

Terrible customer service. I made an appointment for a chimney sweep and they no called no showed. I called them and the lady said Dave would call me. I called back two days later because Dave had not called me back. Then they called me back the day after that to schedule another appointment of which Dave called me the day of and said he'd be at my place between 11:30 and noon. That never happened. Two wasted Saturdays waiting on a company that obviously doesn't want my business.

Terrible customer service!!! I called this company based on their good reviews, I spoke with David about a chimney repair estimate. He said he could come out on Saturday or Monday and would call me to confirm the appointment. Then didn’t call or show up to let me know when he was coming. Called them back twice and Explained the situation they said they would have David call me back twice right away, but he never did. They just wasted my time for nothing when, I should have just looked for other companies the moment he decided not to call back and confirm the appointment like he said.

Dave is great! We used him twice for siding repair on our home due to storm damage. He came out on Sat. gave us a quote and had everything fix by Tues. as he said. Very Efficient they did a Excellent Job... Happy Customer!!

Dave and his crew were awesome. Dave came out and said what he could do and did it. Cleaned my chimney and showed me what he had accomplished. He didn't have the correct chimney cap that would fit, so he said that he would return at cap it the next day. He did not charge for the service until the job was done. Next day, Dave and his crew returned and capped my chimney with the correct cap. I would recommend Americas Best Chimney and Roofing Co, if you have any chimney issues. Thanks again, Dave.

Dave came out and gave us an estimate for our chimney foundation to be fixed. He seemed to know exactly what he was talking about. He said they were running behind a couple weeks if we wanted to schedule the appointment. So a couple days later I called to make an appointment, which I never heard back until I called a few times. Finally he got back to me and said he would call closer to the time he could in a couple weeks because it was based on the weather (understandably). Two weeks passed...which turned into 4 weeks. Finally he called me again on a Thursday or Friday and said he could come Monday. Monday came around and he never called, never showed. I left a voicemail and he never called me back. My husband called the mainline and the assistant was supposedly confused as to why he wouldn't show, especially since he apparently already left for a job. After 3-4 hours, we decided that we were wasting our time. My husband called and had to leave a voicemail for the assistant and Dave saying that we were cancelling. Dave actually called back and didn't really have anything to say besides "okay" and didn't seem to have any idea of our scheduled appointment. We are hugely disappointed because we have been patiently waiting for our chimney to be fixed, which constantly floods our furnace and water heater with the rain we've been having. If Dave didn't want to do the job, then I wish he would have said so instead of wasting our time. Communication was terrible and I wouldn't recommend.

Wow, we smelled gas and dte said our chimney was leaking carbon monoxide so they shut down the furnace and hot water tank. So, no gas!! Called a few companies for service and they were all booked for 2 to 3 weeks for fireplace. Inspections and cleaning. Even after explaining we didn’t have heat they only said “sorry, we are all booked up”. Until we called America’s best (they were booked as well) but the secretary Carter said I’m going to call my boss to explain your situation. Within 5 minutes the owner Dave called and came out within two hours and left to buy parts for our job. They had to tuck point missing mortar, remove cracked ceramic chimney liner, replace chimney liner, new clay top and chimney top and replace hot water tank venting. They worked several hours and even finished the inside work when it was dark. Talk about a company who goes above and beyond.......highly recommended.

I hired Dave for a partial chimney rebuild and repair. His quote came in significantly lower than the rest. He showed up as promised and completed the job in one day. I couldn't be happier with his service. I would highly recommend America's Best.

I had an appointment a few weeks ago for an estimate on my chimney that I needed repaired in order to be able to move into the house that I just purchased. After struggling with trying to get an appointment for more than just an estimate MANY other Chimney and Roofing Companies, Dave was the only one who was on time with his estimate which was very reasonable.

You might ask if Dave was this good why am I only giving this Company 1 star? There are two reasons for this. First, when I scheduled my appointment which Dave waited until the absolute latest date that he could which I reluctantly agreed to but also stated that I wanted and expected no more delays, he stated that would be at my house between 8:30 and 10:30 Am. After not showing up without so much as a call from him, I called him directly. When I asked him pointblank where he was, he stated that he was getting the material which I knew was a lie as there was no noise in the background whatsoever. Even if what he stated was true why would he not be prepared for this job given all of the years of Experience that he and his assistant stated that he had?

There is no doubt in my mind that he had no plans or Interest in this Job and he was hoping or relying on my forgetting about this appointment. When he knew that I had caught him in his lie all he could say is that he was sorry before hanging up the phone right after that.

The lesson learned here is just because someone fronts as being professional doesn't mean that they are. Based on my Experience with this Company they would serve the Public best by shutting their doors permanently as they don't know how to deal with customers or certainly show up on time. I also question whether they are capable of doing the work, however I guess they wouldn't be in "Business" if they didn't. If my Experience with them is like anyone else I feel for those unfortunate victims of this Company.

F.Y.I. my second reason for leaving 1 Star is because I couldn't leave them none. Thank you for reading this and WATCH OUT if you hire this Company for any work!!

David and his team did a fantastic job putting a new roof on our house! They were very professional and easy to work with. Before America's Best Roofing Company showed up for the job, I never could have imagined the outside of this house looking so nice! Now I'm actually proud to say that I live here! I will certainly recommend them to anyone in need of a new roof.

Dave and his assistant put a new chimney liner kit in the next day after giving me a free estimate. He is VERY reasonably priced, super professional, kind and cleaned up beautifully after the job was done. I would definately recommend Americas Best Chimney and Roofing.

My young deaf son bought a home in Wayne . MI. 2 contractors cheated him out if $15,000 to do fixing and repairs. We were heartbroken, but then he found America's Best. Dave is just wonderful! He is honest. He met all our needs for roof repairs. His price was better than any other especially since he felt bad and even helped repair a crack in the house at no charge. I highly recommend this fine gentleman and his crew that also we will ask to do some painting and drywall repair. GREAT COMPANY! THANK YOU DAVE!!
