This company is a SCAM. The sales rep is pushy and my aunt, Diane Luttrell and uncle, who has dementia. I run a flooring store, and we can do lifetime warranty, handicap accessible showers starting around 3k. This company gives you only 3 days to cancel the contract also. It's only been 2 weeks since they were at her house and still won't let us cancel. We were even willing to pay them a fee to cancel. I hope people truly look around before choosing this company. If you're in Middle TN, Call Floored by Justin for a real quote. Just don't get scammed by this company. Tom McCloud was her sales rep, and Jake was the person I talked to on the phone and both couldn't give me any answers.

Jonathan installed a whole house water system today. He lined up the equipment perfectly against the wall so I can still use my shelves was super thorough on telling me how to use everything and super polite. Very happy with my water softener so far. Thank you, Johnathan

We just got our windows replaced, all 19 of them, and we are so appreciative of Juan Carlos (JC) and Hovad. They did an outstanding job and made all of this look so easy. Their attention to detail is really spectacular and this only comes with vast experience. You folks have a gem of an associate here and JC represents AHD very well. Jerry and his crew did a bath to shower and a second shower upgrade. All three guys were personable and more importantly, they knew what they were doing. Before leaving each day (3) they'd clean the work area so that it looked a bit better than when they started work. We are very pleased with AHD and Jerry's crew in particular!

I finally had the rest of my windows replaced in my home. Thank you to Tim Platt and Patrick for the great job they did today installing my windows in three bedrooms. It had to be the hottest day ever, but they never complained and did an excellent job.

JC and his brother did an exceptional job. They are very hard workers. They did the work in a timely manner. They were attentive, knowledgeable and explained everything in detail.

I had a salesman walk down my driveway and around to the back of my house because he heard me start my car. One Scared me. Two He asked if I had a second I said (while crying) “no, I’m on my way to a funeral.” He said “it will only be five minutes”. I said “no thanks, I’m already running late” and he said “are you sure, it will be really fast”……. Please teach your salesman manners or maybe just how to read the room.

From the beginning:
(Update below)The salesperson pickles, or peaches, or whatever his name is (Tom), was misleading, and was easily upset by my indepth questions. However, we purchased a walk-in shower mainly because of the lifetime warranty in March 12, 2025. Our installer was outstanding! He was smart, on time, clean and did a great job.
A few days after installation:
The shower leaks from the shower head after we turn it off it. Not low maintenance as stated by the company. The head keeps dripping and will run for hours just dripping. Some times all day. (At least 1 gallon of water accumulating. I have videos) Additionally, the caulking that they use around the base of the shower that connects the wall to the shower pan grows mold very easily and quickly. They used the same caulking in the drain area, which also grows mold very quickly. This mold is not easily removed at all. (We clean our shower weekly , and daily after every shower, we dry, the walls and the glass with a towel to keep our investment spot free.) As part of the warranty, you can only use certain products on the shower none of which are very effective on mildew. I've been trying to get this addressed with them for the last week with little help. That said; it has been dripping since I purchased the shower in March of this year but we had been doing our best to find out why on our end. We called the water department to check our pressure before contacting the company. Our water pressure is normal. Today, 7/15/25, we got a call to have it fixed on 7/29/25 the only available date to fix it. Lets see what happens. I will update this review when I get results from this company.
UPDATE:
1/22/25. A representative from the company came to reinstall a new shower head and a new shower valve. We addressed the mold on the caulking, and it seems as though we are supposed to use denatured alcohol to try to remove that mold. However, when he did use the denatured alcohol, it did not work. The mold remains wedged in the corner. He also said, don't use it often, and to try using 6% vinegar to remove the mildew from the caulking. He did not offer to remove the caulking that is damaged and replace it. (but it is only a small spot). The repair guy also told me that I am not able to purchase that caulking from any retail store, they get it shipped directly from a manufacturer, and if they were to replace it, there would be an additional charge. Lifetime warranty only goes so far I guess. I'll continue to dry my shower down every single day to keep my shower spot free as far as mildew in the corners; I don't know what I'm gonna do.

We just had a Rain Soft water system installed by Johnathon. It was very straight forward and everything was explained well. We are looking forward to having quality water in our new home.

We had a walk in shower installed yesterday, yes in one day! The couple who installed (Jeremiah and Jenny) were personable and professional all the way. They took great care with my mother to make sure that everything was to her liking and also enjoyed our pesky,curious critters! They are a well tuned team and turned out a phenomenal job for us. If I could give more stars I most certainly would. I will definitely recommend them to friends and may get them out in the future for another project. Thank you so much!

We had a high-end door installed—solid build, beautiful craftsmanship, and it truly adds to the curb appeal. That said, for a door with a five-figure price tag, I expected better attention to detail and customer service.

The biggest issue? The handles. They were flimsy from the start and installed crooked, making the whole door look off. I brought it up just a couple of days after installation, only to be brushed off and told it was probably one of my “kids” who caused it—which felt dismissive and unprofessional.

Since then, I’ve followed up more than once, but my concerns have been ignored. It’s frustrating, because while the door itself is great, the poor handling of a valid issue—and the lack of follow-up—really sours the experience. For what we paid, I expected better accountability and a complete, polished final product.

Cameron was the man! He was out here for our install Monday and worked straight through the day and was back bright and early to finish the job Tuesday. Our shower looks incredible and everyone at AHD was friendly and pleasurable to work with. Highly recommend!

American Home Design tested our water and we found the impurities were far worse than we expected so we went with the RainSoft solution. Sebastian was our installer. Steve provided guidance. They were prompt, courteous, & cleaned up after. The water wasn't off very long and the resulting water tastes great.

Glen Crew and his team did a great job. It only took 1 day and the difference in our indoor temperature is significant. Having windows that were > 35 years old wasn't great on our energy cost. We're looking forward to some lower utility bills for summer and winter! I can touch the glass during the hottest part of the day and the inside glass is a cool as ice. Thanks team!

My husband and I could not be happier. American Home Design listened to us as to what we wanted for making our builder grade tub and shower into a beautiful shower stall with glass doors! Nathan Denson, our installer, was the perfect match for us!! He is the best! Arrived when expected and listened to us as to what we wanted and did not want. Even though we are both in our early sixties we did not want a shower stall that appeared we were old and needed handrails etc. We wanted a shower stall that looked beautiful and polished. I particularly wanted something I would be proud to show my family and friends and that is exactly what we got!! Nathan worked all day with no breaks. We now have had three baths redone by American Home Design. We are happy with the work that was done. Our installer, Cameron did a great job. He was very respectful and kept everything clean during the work, and cleaned up everything before leaving.

American Home Design tested our water, and the results showed far more impurities than we had anticipated. Based on those findings, we decided to go with the RainSoft solution. The installation was efficient, with only a brief interruption to our water service. Since then, the water has tasted noticeably better, and we feel much more confident in its quality.

American Home Design redid my shower/tub. Contract was easy, and a few weeks later they got the job done in 2 days start to finish. I knew the old tub was dated, but I was overwhelmed by how luxurious the new shower/tub are! It is beautiful and I am delighted.

We just had a new shower installed by Karol and his sweet daughter. They were very business and did beyond what expected. I can not say enough good about them and the work excellently done.

The process of purchasing new windows went smoothly. Gary Mosley met with us and explained them to us. Another person came to do the measurements a second time as they actually make the windows specifically for our order. We are now waiting for the windows to be made and then installed.

Well the guy came to my house today,and was supposed to discuss my options on getting a shower done, but that's not what happened. He was extremely rude from the start looked at my bathroom, took one photo and said there was nothing that they could do. He did not give me a reason why or any other options. No discussion was made or attempted. His only words were I have allergies and I have to go. Will not recommend this company to anyone. And it is my opinion that any good reviews were paid for or are from their employees.

The replacement of all my 1957 homes windows was a huge expense but well worth it. The difference is amazing and couldn’t have had a more professional experience from sales, office staff and especially Glen Dunn and his install team. They put blankets down to protect the floors and carpet along with making every accommodation we needed. All contacts were friendly, considerate and the windows aren’t those light cheap kind these are heavy, strong and warrantied for life!

I just want to say thank you for resolving the situation with our new windows. JC did a fantastic job correcting the problem.

Had great experience with them. We had a water leak in our Master bath, they were able to send someone out quickly. Both the technicians, Tyler & Renee fixed the leak and patched the drywall.

We decided to screen in our back patio and we couldn’t be happier. American Home Design just completed a shower upgrade for us . The quality of the product and the craftsmanship were great . American Home Design provided the best design consultant-Ken Russell. Also Andrew Pisano was an excellent installer. Very detailed and professional. Our experience with these two professionals was exceptional. We greatly appreciate all their work to provide us with a beautiful walk-in shower.

My experience with AHD has bern extremely disappointing. Kagen Thise came to my home, gave me a quote ($24,200), for a master shower with glass door and a very basic tub shower on the upper level (no door). I signed the contract on this job with the understanding it would be one day of work per shower, because I run a business from my home. Ten visits later, the company is struggling to come through with their promises. Customer service rep called tonight to offer me 1000.00 back on the job and they were “so sorry” about it all but 1000.00 was all they could do. Honestly, it is a scam. There is not one thing about the quality of materials installed or service provided that a person cannot get at Lowe’s, Home Depot, or through a contractor at a much lower cost. Do not fall prey to this company. I am currently working on recovering costs with an attorney.

Overall the entire experience with American Home Design could not have been improved upon.

American Home Design was great, so easy to deal with. Installer Cameron was respectful to us and our home. He put down covers on the floor and vacuumed before leaving.

Robby & Kari Alexander installed our new garden tub/shower the other day, and I highly recommend them! So quick (couldn’t believe they got it done in a handful of hours!) and courteous. The only suggestion I would make is to maybe throw a sheet over furniture when doing certain projects bc there ended up being a layer of drywall dust (or whatever it was) on our bedroom furniture and comforter, etc. Small detail and fix on our end so happy to rate 5 stars! They don't give you ALL the information you need. The sales man is truly going to try to sell you hard. And we were not the wisest by not giving it a few days to sit on it and research on our own beyond that. So, shame on us... However, we don't want anyone else to be fooled, so let me tell you what they failed to tell us:

The Sales Man sold us. Yes! The product is amazing! We love the softener and the under-sink water filters. Those are great! HOWEVER, the Sales Man made it seem like we'd be saving tons and tons of money. We knew there would be some expenses like replacing the filters for the under-sink water filters and we also knew salt does cost money. However, he failed to mention that the tanks installed have a capacity of water filtering it can handle before it needs to be replaced. And the Tech said, it should be yearly! And get this... one tank is $400. YAH. And for a family of four like us, we went way over the "capacity" in a year... so it almost renders your system moot until you replace it. The Tech that came out even admitted that the Sales Men tend to leave that little "nugget" out of the pitch.

OH, and the UV light for your air doesn't make your air fresher faster. The Sales Man Claimed that it might make stinky things like cooking smells, for example, disappear faster. Nope. Opening a window does. We've tested it. Pretty useless, and I don't see any immediate benefits from it. I would skip that. Also, the clean start is an okay machine, I GUESS... but it's not so good that I want to take it with me if we ever move. We've gone back to using detergents and softeners because the Clean Start machine clothes aren't amazing without it.

Recently, I had new Patio Doors installed by American Home Design's installer Robert F. He was timely, thorough, effective in the installation as well as testing the doors and locks and answering my questions. I highly recommend Robert through AHD for your door needs. Five Stars for Robert.

Jerry was the foreman for my bathroom remodel and was fantastic! He texted me 30 minutes before arriving as I requested and was very professional and respectful of my home. Initially I was told the remodel would take 2 days to complete and materials would not be available until May. I was extremely pleased to hear everything was ready for an early April installation and it was completed in 1 day! They were amazing and left no mess behind and made sure everything was to my satisfaction before leaving. I highly recommend American home design!!!

This was a truly amazing experience. From the time Robby and Kari Alexander arrived, they made us feel comfortable to have them in our home. They went straight to work and were finished in about 5 hours. They did a great job of cleaning up their mess and we are overjoyed with the results of our new shower.
