We just had new windows put in! The process was very simple and we were guided every step of the way. Always an excellent experience with this company.

Our interactions throughout the entire process were very friendly and responsive. We got all new windows, siding, gutters, trim, and fascia. Basically an entire outside refresh. All of the team members that we interacted with were extremely professional, respectful of the property, knowledgeable, and friendly. I would highly recommend using this company for any work on your home.

The sales staff was thorough and answered all questions. We were very satisfied with the installation team. The install of 28 windows took approximately 2 1/2 days. The installers were very careful and cleaned up after each day. We are very happy with the results. We love our new windows!

Have used American Design and Build for several projects. They do excellent work and are very professional. I will continue to use them and recommend them.

I had someone come out either January or February to give me an estimate on windows. I told them I needed to get one more estimate. I then decided to wait until the spring. They called back offering a deal but wasn’t pushy about it. I ended up going with them. Everyone was fantastic to work with. The day of installation, I did not realize the brackets for my blinds needed to come down. They were so nice about having to take them off. I met the Project manager and he said he would have someone come out and put brackets and mini blinds up for me on 23 windows so I wouldn’t have to hire a handyman.
The only tiny downfall was the clean up was not that great. I called the office and they sent someone out the next day to take care of it.
(There were grids in all my old windows)

This was a wonderful local company to work with. The windows were of exceptional quality. The craftsman who installed our 22 windows were highly skilled and deferential to our property. One mis-measurement issue was handled quickly and without any additional costs. Everyone associated with the firm was terrific to deal with. This was an easy 5 Star rating

AD&B is amazing! Sales staff Paul laid out all options and gave me his opinion on what he thought he thought would be good for our family. The build team came in did some repairs before install to make sure our door last for years! Fast, efficient, and high quality work. I would give 10 stars if they let me!

Richard did an excellent job along with his team and office support Kelly. They did the work professionally and on time. Cleaned all debris and dusted all around the house and gutters. When I asked Richard originally about the roof he was honest and told me the roof still has few years unless you want to replace. I wanted to be proactive and contacted him a few months later. Think American Design and build.

I have been savings a lot since I had this Solar. I love it and would recommend it for everyone looking into installing solar panels.

Replaced a gutter that kept clogging and overflowing. New gutter works great. Crew was very fast and efficient. They cleaned up after they were done and it’s as if they were never there. Great job!

Called for a quote and was told the "company policy" is that they will only come estimate if my husband is there, too. That is so insulting. We're getting multiple quotes for multiple renovation jobs, we divide up the labor in this marriage, and this just tells me they're looking to pressure-sell.

Solar Installation on a Metal Roof - I rarely feel the need to write a review on good service, but I have nothing bad to say about this company….in fact I feel the need to RAVE about them. First off, we had the panels installed in October of 2024 and soon after it got cold, so we just hadn’t been in the garage. The first installation I can’t complain about really, the panels went up and the crew was all polite and worked well. The company even made sure our garage was up to code for the installation and went above and beyond installing a light on the front of the garage per code and wrapping the inside wires correctly. That alone impressed us….but wait I have more. Fast forward to Jan 2025 and my husband goes out and realizes there is damage to our roof (new roof on the garage), that only could have come from the solar panel installation. He was upset to say the least, when we had window nation install 4 windows it took 2 years of fighting to get them to just pay for the repairs to my windows that they knew they damaged the day of installation, we were having flash backs.
So my husband text the project manager and let him know the issue, they asked for pictures and we sent them over. To say this company took care of the problem is an understatement. They came right out and promised to make it right. Not only that they made it right in freezing cold temps. Not only did they fix it all, but they did it better the second time around. The panels look gorgeous now, they are even, symmetrical and our roof even looks better than the first time it was installed. The gentlemen on site I guess in charge of it was amazing. He was there the whole time, communicating with both my husband and myself about what he was doing, and making sure to let me know my husband could go up and inspect at the end because he was that confident in his work (Trust me I appreciate that confidence). All the workers were polite, respectful and went above and beyond. Seeing the care, they took was amazing. The way they communicated I am utterly impressed with. I wish I remembered the gentleman’s name because I think he deserves a raise but not only that I think his boss (the owner) deserves to know the kind of individuals working for him. You don’t find that care and work ethic a lot these days. All the employees I spoke with raved about how the company treated them, so I know why the employees work so hard for the company…
Even though we are selling the home and moving out of state, I will absolutely recommend this company to anyone. Just the customer service alone is a reason. From the Sales Guy Jerry, to the all the guys that came out to the project manager Gayland (I think that’s what my husband said his name is), to the one specific gentleman who made sure to let me know how proud he was of the work I couldn’t ask for a better experience (and something went wrong so that should tell you everything.) I absolutely think the guy who fixed our roof and was onsite all 3 days who I spoke with the last day before they left should be in charge of the solar panel installs as his perfectionism was not only appreciated but my husband and I now love how they look. Thank you so much for the best experience we have had with a company so far and for standing behind your work no matter what.

We have had many projects done by ADB over the last 30 years, deck built, all new windows from top to basement, and Joe Tunney is the best!! He goes above and beyond to make sure his customers are pleased with the work that is done from start to finish. His employees are always polite, with impeccable work ethics. From phone calls, to estimates, throughout installation, respect of property, thorough clean up you will not be disappointed to have ADB do your next project!!! Immediately, we were given a service date. The tech . who came said “ These Are The Biggest Casements I’ve Ever Seen” ! Adjustments were made !! Today another call to see if we were satisfied . The commitment , dedication , and Follow Through of This Company IS BEYOND IMPRESSIVE !! Thank You !!!!!

American Sentry Solar installed our system several years ago. We had a very good experience with that project from the initial consultation to completion. We were looking to replace two exterior doors/frames and a basement window so we decided to go with American Design and Build based on our previous experience. The job was completed in about six hours. The installers were very professional, explained everything and cleaned up once finished leaving us nothing to do but lock the doors. Additional plaster/painting needed to be done following the installation of one door. He too did a great job, going beyond what was necessary to blend the paint. Despite some confusion regarding terms of the original contract we found that AD&B stands behind their word ensuring we were completely satisfied. AD&B comes with our highest recommendation.

Another excellent job!!! American Design and Build folks have provided excellent service for my home for more than ten years. Windows, roofing, doors- they have completed quite a few projects here. Very wonderful experience. They completely replaced our 12x20 foot deck with a new maintenance free deck. The team was very helpful from quote to design to construction. There were able to completely work within our budget and provide an excellent product. The employees were respectful of the property at all times and kept the job site neat and orderly and cleaned up after themselves every day. Quality comes at a cost, you get what you pay for and A.D. Build delivers the quality.

I really want to articulate how happy I am with recent gutters on our house. While there were some communication issues, I still think ADB deserves a 5 statr review. The end product looks phenomenal. We needed functional gutters
that were aesthetically pleasing. The workmanship was phenomenal. They were on time and worked hard. I would definitely use them again.

Mike Jenkins was the best representative ever. He called ahead and was on timer. He explained the benefits of using home design and builders and all they have to offfer. He was very knowledgeable in the installation process. He answered my question with confidence. Mike also went over pricing and we came to a very reasonable amount for the service I was looking for. He explained pricing in plain English he was also very personable. All around a great representation. American Design and Build (ADB) was the last contractor I spoke to about a new roof. I was exhausted and stressed over cost and necessity. From the beginning, the rep I worked with, Cathlynn Thorton was pleasant, relateable, thorough, and patient with me. I was transparent and explained I wanted to be able to compare apples to apples. In otherwords, I wanted to know that ADB could show me that they could match the highly rated materials and warranty of another company I was considering. Not only were they able to do that, their warranty is the longest I found in any of the five contractors I considered. Furthermore, the ADB price was $3,000 less than the competitor I was considering. Financing was easy, and the interest rate was reasonable. Being in contact with scheduling and other employees who helped with paperwork and material confirmation were very helpful and easy to work with. When it came to the installation of the roof itself, the crew arrived within 30 minutes of their earliest arrival time. Because they knew there was a possibility of rain, they worked through lunch and completed the job in 6 hours. (I have a small rancher.) The process was exactly as had been described to me. All of my shrubs were protected; anything I hadn't already removed from around the house was moved out of harms way by a crew member. Every member of the crew were friendly and willing to answer questions. The foreman was jovial and clear when we did the final walk around. The roof is beautiful. The satellite dish was removed, as was a completely useless vent cover. The top of my house is sharp and in good contrast with the rest of the building. When the crew left everything was neat as a pin. I could not be happier with American Design and Build. They did not let me down any step of the way in what could have been a very stressful process.

9 windows replaced with Vytex triple-glazed. Very pleased with quick install and window performance. All team members were very professional.

I contracted the solar division to remove and re-install Tesla solar panels, as Tesla does not know what "emergency" means. American Design and Build were timely, removed everything so the roof could be replaced, were back in less than a week to re-install, made improvements to my system, and installed a metal critter guard to prevent freeloading squirrels from doing damage in the future. I highly recommend the solar installation team, and should out to Dean and Darwin who are gentlemen and scholars (IMHO).

We had new vinyl replacement windows installed. The installers were very professional and did a great job. You couldn't even tell they were here. Definately would recommend.

Installed new kitchen door and 2 storm doors. Job was done expertly and quickly in one day with one very minor fix needed, which was quickly remedied. Very satisfied. I would recommend them for any of your home needs.

Brad came to our home and during his sales pitch was on point. The day after he emailed the quote to us, we had questions. After emailing him and calling him with no response, we are looking to find another contractor who will actually return calls. We never asked about a better deal or price, just wanted clarification on warranty specific to the recommended product. Should have been so simple. You would figure he would call back on a $40k project.

UPDATE PLEASE READ: We were contacted by the owner at American Design and Build who sent Joe out to meet with us. After explaining the failure to communicate, we decided to hire American Design and Build/American Century Solar for our project. They did exactly everything they promised and we are happy to refer them to friends and neighbors. We are extremely pleased

Tom was great at dealing with my roof. It was quick, easy, and he guided me through the whole process. While I hope I don’t need my roof done again anytime soon, if I did, I would use Tom and his crew.

Tom Arno came and met us for an initial quote. He was very professional and knowledgeable but not pushy. He was patient and answered all of our many questions. We went with American Design and Build for our siding and couldn’t be happier! The color choice is perfect and really elevates the curb appeal of our house.

I can only speak to the sales process as I decided not to go with ADB after that, so my rating is solely based on sales.

A friend used them and the work looked good, so I had the company come and give an estimate. The sales process is clearly designed to pressure you in to committing right at the time of visit by offering a 'good only tonight' price. The guys who came were nice enough, but the company tactics left me feeling like this isn't someone I would do business with. The price fell by almost 50% from the "retail" price with almost no negotiating. I guess this is designed to make me feel like a got a bargain, but it left me feeling the opposite. And a friend had a similar job done for about half of their lowest price. (No...I can't say it was the same model door, so maybe it's not a fair comparison. But his sliding door is great and I just can't see paying double for...for what I don't know.)

Give me a fair price (one price) and stand by it for at least a week. If you can't do that, then I will just move on. If you enjoy the used car buying process, then you should have them come over because that's what it felt like.

We had 4 Gables covered in shaker style siding and could not have been happier with the product, workers and supervising of the project. Would definitely use American Design again !

Tom Adams was incredible. We were out of town when our beautiful new steel front door was installed and they still accommodated us seamlessly. Customer service and Tom checked up on us to make sure we were 100% satisfied. Would use again in a heartbeat.

The team we had we were friendly, spot on great customer service. Any questions we had they either knew the answers right away or if they didn't. They made sure to find out. Also our window rep. I wish I had gone with someone else. It is overpriced for the quality of work we received. The installer we had was extremely messy, leaving broken glass, nails everywhere. The product was just as bad. Very disappointed and will be sure to tell anyone who asks to avoid ADB.

Beans are not my last name, but unfortunately, the project was very real for us. The only positive was Kelly, who try to help us through our issues. We just got tired and wanted it to end.

We had custom doors installed for our front door and deck door. Our salesman Tom Arno listened to our needs and helped us select a custom French door with a built-in doggy door that replaced an aged and poorly functioning slide door. When installing the new front door, the installation crew found rotting under the existing frame that they showed me and insisted they could and would remedy before putting the new door in. They got the needed supplies and stayed late to get it ready for the door. They did not charge me for these additional supplies. The new doors are very attractive and much higher quality than those available at local hardware stores. And the kitchen feels much warmer with the new French doors. We are very happy with our purchase and will use them again in the future. It has now been a few months since installation and we are completely thrilled with these doors. Our heating bill has dropped due to the warmth retention in our kitchen area.

What an awesome company! They updated/install the windows in my mother's house probably 20-25 years ago. She highly recommended them! I talked to other window company and didn't feel the "salesman" or push to spend $20K on windows! I had a budget when it came to purchasing and they talked me though options and made me feel very comfortable with my decision in choosing them. It was two guys, Ricardo and Mike, that installed all the windows (I had 11) in one day! If I had any issues with any of the windows/screen, the installer sent a picture back to the factory and ordered a replacement. A few days later an installer came back and replaced one of the screens that had a small tear. Wow! Now I see why my mom gave such high marks. They were fast, efficient and professional. If you need to get your windows replaced these folks at American Design and Build is the right choice!

Josh was awesome to work with, even helped me on a personal level (applying appropriate guilt to my family for watching "The Queen's Gambit without me! :) ). Josh and his team have been super at communicating all through the process and we are looking forward to our new roof!

Late last summer we took the plunge and decided to install a solar system on our new house. I did a ton of research surrounding panels, inverters,, etc. Dustin (sold us the product in the end) was extremely knowledgeable about the technology and process. He made it extremely easy for us to say yes to solar honestly. From start to finish the entire process was completed in time for us to take advantage of the 26% tax credit. We had to move dates a round the rain a couple of times, but they were always very polite and flexible. Since the install last November, I have only good things to say about the end result. Over the cloudy, overcast winter we've had we are looking at saving about half of our electricity bill in a large house that uses electricity for EVERYTHING. My husband and I are really looking forward to summer savings, and I am planning on using American Design and Build again for any and all home improvements they can help us with in the future (windows and doors are next on my list!).

The day of installation I wasn't prepared for what to expect as far as the noise factor inside the home and the feeling that something was about to come through the roof and kept tripping my power. It took 3 months to get the roof installed. The roof looks great and was done it one day. I wish the communication was little better. I am pleased I no longer have to deal with a roof leak. Thanks for a sigh of relief.

Josh Price is a salesman for American Design and Build. He came to my house and explained the entire process and was able to liaison with my home owners insurance company and showed me how to make a claim with them to have my roof replaced . He met with the insurance companies inspector and went up on my roof with them showing them areas that were in need of repair. He made the entire process seamless and easy. I was able to get a settlement from my insurance company and I am now waiting my turn to get my roof replaced. My brother-in-law had his roof also replaced by American Design and Build. I saw their workmanship firsthand and was very impressed. Thanks again Josh...

Definitely not what we expected. Our estimate that should have taken minimum 30mins turned into 2 1/2 hours (6pm till 8:45pm). Frustrating because most of the time wasn't regarding our estimate but his personal conversation. Pricing was high too. And felt pressured to sign that night. We are going with another company.

Will definitely work with these folks again - everything was pleasant and efficient from the initial discussion through the install. They followed up every step with a check-in to ensure all was well. Reasonable, courteous, professional - and the door looks fantastic. Thanks again!

Followup 7 years later - some of the hardware that came with the door was starting to look a bit rough due to exposure to elements, AD&B replaced it ALL free of charge, no hassle at all. So glad we went with them!
