If I could give more than 5 stars I would because this company definitely deserves it!!! They were polite, on time had our old roof off in less than a few hours and had prepared for the new roof all in the 1st day. Came back and had the new roof on the very next day!!! Was beyond pleased and shocked they did it so fast as so well!!! They were very detailed, an left no mess!!! Extremely professional an detailed oriented!!! Have and would definitely recommend again to anyone needing a new roof!!!!

Had my roof done by Alvarez Roofing they installed my roof in 2 days and made sure to clean up after the job. I would definitely give them a call for any projects you might need.

The good reviews on here must be fake. I was referred to them and waiting more than two weeks and a canceled appointment on the day they were to arrive for a quote. The quote never arrived. If you enjoy wasting your time, this is the company. Phone promises and nice words do not mean a thing. These people and company do not care about customer service. If service is this bad at estimate, just imagine how poor follow up for issues or service if the deposit is paid. I am sure you will never see them again. I wish I could give 0 stars.

Would highly recommend this company to anyone. The crew and owner were very professional. What impressed me the most was the owner visited the site to inspect the work and to make sure all was satisfactory. Didn't haggle about prices, very fair price for amount of work, and all work completed with regular updates.

The folks at Alvarez Roofing are honest, professional and hard-working and their prices are more than fair. They were recommended to us by a friend who is the quality assurance director for a large local construction firm.

We had some water damage in our ceiling and interviewed three roofing contractors. One of the contractors claimed that we needed to have our entire chimney rebuilt to the tune of $9,000.00, which ultimately proved to be a lie.

We hired a contractor to replace the roof after our insurance adjuster authorized the claim. After they installed the roof, we discovered it was very poorly done causing new leaks and that they had charged us for items on the insurance scope that they didn’t complete. Alvarez Roofing came out and did a thorough inspection which documented a whole host of other issues. Long story short, when confronted with the ample photographic evidence provided by Alvarez Roofing, the other company gave us a full refund after we threatened a lawsuit. Alvarez then did the job correctly and the new roof is absolutely beautiful! And they did it for much less than the other company! They also did some additional repairs to our home and didn’t charge us extra. Service like this is rare these days. (We just had our house painted too and the painting contractor said he used to install roofs and said Alvarez did an excellent job.)

They could do a little better with communication, as others have pointed out. But we suspect this issue is due to how busy they are because of their outstanding reputation. We’re glad we didn’t let that minor concern dissuade us from hiring Alvarez because we couldn’t be more pleased with our roof.

Don’t hesitate to hire Alvarez. They went above and beyond for us. They are a rare roofing contractor in a sea of hacks from an industry rife with dishonest, unprofessional scammers.

The entire team at Alvarez roofing was fantastic. They saved us from a roofing job that was started by a crew that did not know what they were doing. Sandra and her crew fixed all the problems, and gave us a beautiful, high quality metal roof. The men were polite, hard working, showed up on time, worked late…they got the job done. The price was more than fair and we are so pleased. We highly recommend them. Be patient…they are busy and might take longer than you want for that first quote, but once they start, they knock it out!! Thank you Sandra, Andres, Isidro, Waylon, Kenny and everyone else. (They even gave us a little unexpected gift of a matching metal roof on our birdhouse!)

Don’t waste your time with the other guys. Alvarez Roofing is the best! They came out quickly to give us a free estimate. They explained everything in detail. The crew repaired the damaged areas just like they promised. Very professional and friendly. I’m extremely pleased with the price and their workmanship.

Excellent service! The company was extremely professional, the staff was courteous and helpful in providing a reasonable roof replacement estimate for my Mom's home. The crew that installed the roof were on time, worked with purpose and did a professional job. I researched several different companies and Alvarez Roofing came in way ahead of the competition. Our experience with Alvarez was outstanding. Within a week we had an inspection, quote, questions answered, colors picked and the job scheduled. They were extremely responsive throughout the process. The crew showed up on time and knocked out nearly the entire job in one day, with just a bit to finish the next morning. Every member of the crew I spoke with was courteous and respectful.

With any job this size, it’s not uncommon to find things to nit-pick. But I didn’t have a chance to nit-pick anything, because Sandra beat me to it. She came out to inspect the job both during and after the work, and found a few minor cosmetic details I would have missed. The crew came back out to address them right away. When we found a piece of plastic wrap from the new shingles that had blown into a tree, I mentioned that I could grab it with my pole saw. She politely asked that I leave it, so that she could send the crew back to take care of it, because “that’s how they learn”. And you know what? She’s right. The crew might be irritated over being called out to grab a piece of plastic, but I bet next time they will look more closely to be sure they got everything. THAT is the difference between an average contractor and a really great contractor. Attention to detail and a commitment to making things right, even if it means bearing the cost of sending the crew back out.

Another note...We had a mess of old step-flashing from the old roof, and it was challenging to replace and cover the old mess in a way that was attractive. They spent a great deal of effort coming up with a creative way to make it look great without adding cost. And we love the results!

I would not hesitate to use them again. In fact, they’d be my first and likely only call.

I highly recommend Alvarez roofing! They did my grandparents roof and they did an outstanding job. All employees are friendly and so easy to work with. If you want quality and quick roof work at a reasonable price, this is your place!

I called and ask to get an estimate on a rental property that I have and was told I would get the appraisal in 6 days which would have been on a Wednesday and I told her that would be fine. I never got the call on Wednesday so I waited until the following Monday and I called them back and the lady was apologetic and didn't seem to understand why she didn't get appraisal to call me. She confirmed my name and phone number and said she would call me back within 30 minutes. I never received that call either. On Tuesday I called Ameritrade roofing, got my estimate in less than 24 hours and they have already ordered materials. I definitely would not recommend wasting time on Alvarez roofing and the way their customer service is, I definitely wouldn't trust their workmanship.

3.5 WEEKS WAITING TO GET A QUOTE!!!! they claim they will show up over the weekend... Spend my entire weekend at home, no calls, no one shows up. They ask for my address each time I call them they tell me they had the address wrong. They call me one morning claiming their guys were on their way to do the job? Job for what? Wrong number. They call asking me if I'm the one on summer St or something like that. No, that's not me. Very poorly oiled machine! They were supposed to be here today around 2 and they didn't show up. I call and call and get a TEXT MESSAGE back. They clearly don't want the business of honest people. My recommendation to anyone wanting to hire this company, don't waste your time! I read these lousy reviews 3 weeks ago and gave them the benefit of the doubt. All the reviews of no-showing are absolutely true! And to the owners of Alvarez roofing, you can CALL ME and discuss this review. You have my number. No hiding behind these text messages!!

Sandra Alvarez and her crew went above and beyond to help get my roof taken care of! Her guys were very professional, well mannered and very informative!

Had company work on my roof. Was extremely courteous to them and provided beverages while doing their work. Had a leak in my bathroom ceiling. They made one promise after another and never came back to review the damage. Kept saying they would call and let us know when one of their workers would come out. Also said we were at the top of the list. No show, no call. Will never hire them to do any work for us in the future.

I was pleased with the initial response to come out and look at my roof. After 3 weeks without being contacted about the estimate, I called them. I was told someone would call me back. Three days later I received a call back but by then I had the repairs done. When someone has a roof leak with water damage inside their home, they really need faster response

They were very professional and they did an excellent job. They replaced my roof and also replaced my gutters. I know you will be happy with their work.

The lady called and said they'd be there in 30 minutes to give me an estimate. I told her if i'm not there to go ahead and I'd call and get the price. She said that would. I called the next day and the lady said she'd call me back in an hour to let me know if they even came. She never called me back. I'm not waiting a month for them to figure out if they even came. They are not reliable with estimates so what makes them think I would trust them with a roof. Go somewhere else and get a roof where professional reliable people are.

Alvarez Roofing came out and replaced my roof and did a FANTASTIC job! They made sure there were no issues with my roof and had a great sense of humor joking around with me. I definitely suggest this company to anybody!
