Brandon Kraemer with Allstar Construction was amazing to work with. He helped me navigate an insurance claim when my house flooded destroying my basement and mainfloor. He was a superstar thru the 5 month renovation process. It turned out so beautiful, beyond ny expectations Thank you will never express my gratitude.

I have been working with Brandon Kraemer at All Star Construction to problem solve a leak in my roof. He has been great with communication and willing to investigate all possibilities for the leak. The attention to detail and close follow up has been refreshing. I would highly recommend Brandon and his team.

We had a tree fall on our house and selected Allstar Construction to repair the damage. We worked with Brandon Kraemer who was our lead person on the project and he provided excellent professional advice and service. We would use Allstar again in the future if needed. The roofers and siders were very courteous and professional as well. Many thanks.

UPDATE Friday June 13: Today I received a call from Taylor Petricka at Allstar about the dispute detailed below. We agreed to a fair amount. I received a revised invoice that reflects this amount and I have sent payment. They will send a Waiver of Mechanics Lien when the receive the payment. I have added a star to the rating.

With this behind us, it's important to reiterate the good, conscientious work that the on-site teams did. Keep that in mind if you are considering hiring Allstar!

Original Review
First, the crews that re-shingled the roof and re-sided the dormer did a really good job and they cared about cleaning up after the work was done. Thank you Omero, Hector, Jesus and the rest of the workers. But not all is well with my project.

I received a wildly inflated bill to install 40 sheets of sheathing to meet code and protect the shingle warranty. The bill was for 9 men for 3 hours. I emailed the day I received the bill that there were only 7 men on site that day and not all were installing the sheathing for 3 hours, most were busy with other parts of the project. I suggested 3 men for 3 hours, 2 on the roof measuring an installing and one on the ground cutting. Therefore a reasonable bill for this work was $500-$600, not over $1,800. The representative took 8 business days to respond to my revised calculation saying he could do me a favor and take a few hundred off the bill, but that was it. This offer is unsatisfactory because it ignores the fact that 9 men were not installing OSB and that the bill is 64% of the bill for the re-shingling. Re-shingling requires a lot more labor to remove shingles, seal the valleys and eaves, install drip edge, vents, lay the shingles and clean up.

We will see how this turns out and will update this review when it is resolved. You can look at my other reviews (Boehm Heating and Bathtub Restoration) and note that often the best ones are when something has gone wrong, but the company addresses it fairly and in a timely manner.

Brandon did an excellent job with our roof inspection. He was punctual, thorough, and explained his findings clearly. His professionalism and attention to detail gave us confidence in the condition of our roof. Highly recommend their services!

Levon did amazing job on my home roof inspection to identify whether there was any hail damage. He identified that there is no damage but he did amazing job and helpful.

Brandon was professional, courteous, and patient with all of the questions we had! He is genuinely a good guy and a pro on the sticks controlling the drone. Work was quick and professional. I am very pleased with the work that AllStar did on my home. I had a new roof put on and it was the smoothest thing I ever did. Luke the sales rep was great. He was prompt, courteous and reliable. He worked with my insurance company and within about a 3 week time frame they were out putting on the new roof. Omerro Lira's crew was excellent and super hard workers. They worked like a fine oiled machine! As the work was being done they were cleaning up the area constantly. They did a fabulous job and even my neighbors commented on how hard they worked and efficient they were. I highly recommend AllStar for any project you may have. I also worked with Adan Bonilla who came out to repair a screen. He was prompt and very professional. He removed my screen and had it repaired in no time at all. He was polite and courteous and a pleasure to work with. The staff at AllStar are terrific.

Allstar installed our siding incorrectly three separate times on a $1,000,000+ remodel, requiring us to repeatedly force them to redo unprofessional work and delaying our construction schedule. This included installing new siding crooked multiple times.

The Allstar team demanded repeated change orders for basic scopes, installed the wrong window frame material several times, put new siding on top of rotten substrate, installed siding on top of electrical outlets, destroyed built-in architectural gutters, and generally left a complete mess on the job site. Ultimately they had to be forced to return, after months of delay, to repair work they damaged or did incorrectly.

If you are looking for honest, quality, cost-effective work for your home, you should run as fast as possible away from these people.

I had the pleasure of working with Luke Drews from Allstar Construction, and I can’t recommend him highly enough! As a real estate agent, I work with many contractors, but Luke truly stands out. He recently helped me and my clients feel completely confident and comfortable with their new property. His professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to ensuring everything was in perfect condition made a huge difference. Both the buyer and I were impressed with his thorough work and clear communication. I will definitely be recommending Luke to all of my realtor contacts, family, and friends. First off, I will say the crew that came and did my roof was excellent! They were done in a timely manner and cleaned up the job site to perfection. The downside of my experience was working with Luke Drews. If anyone asked me to recommend him, I would definitely not. If not for the picture that comes up on your phone I would have no idea what he looks like. I also only actually spoke to him on the phone twice for maybe 30 seconds . Absolutely everything by him was done via text. He was ready to throw in the towel the first time the insurance company denied my roof. I think he got a nudge from someone else to go back and try again. It did finally get approved. I had also asked questions of him when they did approve my roof and the person who answered them for me was the person from my insurance company not Luke. In my opinion, he is lacking in his customer service ability, especially when you are spending thousands of dollars for a new roof.

We have worked with the Allstar team for years. They are dedicated and hard working. The combined experience of the team is great! Kudos to Matt and his knowledge of roof structures.

I have personally worked with Ron & Adam on numerous projects and each project they were very professional, and actually a human being by being truthful and honest about any concerns or issues that may have come up. I would highly encourage Allstar, especially Adam and Ron to others for their roofing and remodel needs!

Back in June, we suffered tornado damage at our cabin. Two months later, we had a hail storm come through at our home. The two locations are 150 miles apart. We cannot tell you how grateful we are for Brandon Kraemer at AllStar construction. He was there immediately for both situations. The distance was not an issue. Allstar did a great job on our roof with lots of gables and angles. They worked from first light until dark and finished in less than 3 days. Dupre Duke was the field supervisor and did an awesome job along with the whole crew. Our yard is actually cleaner than when they started!

Allstar replaced our roof and vinyl siding as part of a hail claim, and we are very happy with the results. Their in-house designer created a plan to update the front of our home that fits well in our neighborhood. The installation crews were skilled, professional crews that cleaned up thoroughly at the end of the day with someone always available to answer any questions or address any concerns. The siding crew in particular did a phenomenal job at executing the details of the siding design. Would highly recommend.

We have used Allstar for a couple of roofing projects at our non-profit retreat center and they always provide excellent service. The communication is top-notch. The crew had incredible attention to detail and always respectful. Given the challenges of our setting, they did an amazing job of clean-up - not one nail to be found!

Work was done quickly and they cleaned up incredibly well afterwards. We had some issues with water intrusion behind our chimney with our old roof, and instead of just using the same vertical flashing that allowed water to pool up, they built a custom metal thingy to split the water off either side of the chimney and drain it to the gutters instead of building up. I appreciated the extra thought that went into it and the craftsmanship it showed. Instead of just taking the quicker way out, they did it the best way they could. They still came in cheaper that other quotes that didn’t include the custom metalwork, too!

We replaced a metal roof over a bay window after a bad hail storm. After another contractor (Lindus) screwed it up, I contacted Dave Hunt at ALLSTAR. Mario and his crew installed a beautiful new standing seam copper roof that is now the showpiece of our home... we couldn't be happier with the customer service and workmanship!

The whole crew from Allstar did a fine job putting on our hail-resistant grade 4 shingles and copper gutters, valleys, etc. From the original sales personnel to the project manager to the crew doing the work. The entire process was seamless and the work was high-quality. I'd also add that the job site was cleaned daily.

Always a pleasure to deal with Matt King. He’s always looking a common sense solutions for some recurring problems we have experienced with the house and once completed we have had no further issues. Can’t recommend Matt and Allstar highly enough.
