Air Tight completed my major project in two weeks. Very responsive to my questions and requests. Great to work with. They handled the sub-contractors. All I had to do was pick out flooring, carpet, paint color and granite. Great experience.

We needed to replace our range hood and had purchased one and arranged for someone else to install it. Unfortunately, it arrived with a damaged part, and by the time the replacement part arrived, the person who was going to do it had another commitment with a looming deadline. Thanksgiving was fast approaching, and I called Airtight. The person I spoke to immediately empathized with me about the unhappy prospect of preparing a holiday meal and having a houseful of guests when the kitchen was not fully functional. The estimator was at our house the next morning. The crew showed up at the time and date agreed upon, they did the work, improved upon the former installation (the fan had been venting into the attic, rather than to the outside!) and left us with a clean and fully functional kitchen that afternoon, the Monday before Thanksgiving! They were wonderful to work with, and I am so grateful to them for their quick response.

Needed my exterior door frame reinstalled. They came out exactly when they said. Got the job done in great time. They found I had no support under the door, and built up the support structure and it all looks great. And shuts and seals now! Great service, very happy.

Air-Tight Remodeling repaired a leaking window that was allowing water to enter the house. They were clear and up front about the scope of the work, and communication from them throughout the repair progress was really good. The window had to be removed and reinstalled to solve the issue. Their stucco contractor did a great job finishing off the repair. Total time to complete the repair was reasonable. No complaints, I would recommend them if you need window work done.

We had Airtight come in an estimate a few home renovation/repair projects for us. 2 of these projects we have completed so far. From beginning to end the team has been exceptional to work with. We have never had to worry about a thing. Rachel always communicates whenever there are updates about anything we need to know or be aware of. The crew working in the house is professional, easygoing and communicates with you as well. I always felt safe and comfortable having them in our home. I even learned about a new podcast from them, which I have enjoyed everyday since!! They do top quality work and super easy to work with. We will definitely continue to do business with them. Thanks again Bryan, Linda, Rachel and the rest of the team.

We had a complete bathroom model done in 2018 and it still looks new. We had vague ideas about materials but Linda swooped in with excellent suggestions. They returned a couple of times to attempt to fix a problem that turned out to be our water heater, which was totally unrelated to their work. That's dedication. They have solid, fair policies that benefit everyone involved. Recommended.

Terrible. Charged me 8 hours of labor for mudding and texturing for approximately 2- 3 hours labor of two men. Entirely missed mudding and texturing one large spot and missed texturing others. Linda (co-owner) says I will be charged for having them come back to do what was missed. Then had the nerve to say they charge 3.5% of my bill for accepting my credit card payment. Linda says they “can’t afford to pay the fee for their customers.” Nice laborers.

Absolutely best customer service. Linda, Brian and Zack went out of their way to make sure I was completely satisfied and everything was to code. They did everything they said they were going to do. They took care of all the the paperwork for the city rebate. I can't say enough about Linda. Super nice, knowledgeable, professional. I highly recommend Air-Tight.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
