Mike is an honest business man and does excellent work. We had major problems with another roof contractor that made more leaks than we had to start with and just left. Luckily, we found Mike! He came in and worked continuously to get all the leaks under control, and even went out of his way to make covers for the vents that were exposed. We called him for gaps in another commercial roof where animals were gaining access to the attic area. He immediately responded to our call and took care of the issue. He is professional and sticks to his price.

Earlier this year my dad and I checked out some roofing companies to do some repairs on my roof. I was not ready to do a full roof replacement, however there were some areas that needed immediate attention. Mr. Michael Hicks was somewhere in the middle of our list of companies we had chosen to come out and give us an estimate. Although we went through the entire list, we knew that we were going to choose Mr. Hicks. We felt an immediate sense of trustworthiness as we conversed with Mr. Hicks. I can truly say that he and his partner did not disappoint! They were extremely respectful and polite. Their prices were reasonable and affordable. They replaced and painted some of my face boards, rehung my fallen gutters and performed a few other repairs. My house looks so much better now and I don’t have to listen to critters rustling around in the crawlspace above my bed! Mike responded to my request almost immediately and discovered the source of my leak almost as soon as he was on the roof. Repaired the problem, repaired chimney covering where pests were gaining entry, found and replaced many loose screws, and repaired problem gutters around the house. He is a very conscientious man who takes pride in his work. Next time I have a problem with the roof, he will be the Company I call. Mike at ARC was prompt, polite and determined to find and fix my roof leak. After the first rain, I still had a small leak and he came out that day and worked in the rain to seal everything. After a long battle of trying different places and fixes, I think our leak is gone for good. This was a difficult problem between two skylights and another roof line. Mike was the guy who contacted me and gave me a price for repairing my leaking roof vent, He was also the guy who did the work saving me the big markup from the "middle men" that seem to dominate these businesses now. About half the price, plus he repaired some other problems and charged me nothing extra. One of the "extras" he did for free was a job another guy wanted $250 to do. We had a very annoying, long-term leaking situation with our porch/sun room roof, so we hired Affordable Roofing and Service to repair it. It was not an easy problem to solve since the leaks seemed to be originating from multiple locations, including around a skylight. But persistence and hard work paid off and they were able to solve the problem. We are exceptionally satisfied with the efforts they made to correct a very difficult and elusive leaking situation, and I highly recommend their services.

I was very fortunate to find Mike at Affordable Roofing Service. Not only in my opinion and based off my experience an honest and reliable roofing specialist, but he is an expert advisor who gives it to you straight. He didn’t try to upsell or provide me with misleading and down-right unethical resolutions for my roof repair; however, every other roofing company that I sought estimates from, provided me with everything put the truth to the tunes of thousands of more dollars to perform unnecessary work. There was something really good about this guy as a small business owner, no pressure and very appreciative of the opportunity to bid and perform the work if chosen. He was a man of his words, showed up on time, kept me updated on the work progress and finished within the 1 day timeline as scheduled. He didn’t leave a mess and provided me with a warranty on his work. He performed other services to include resealing all the vents, etc. on top of the house (no charge) and reassured me that my roof has another 10-15 years of life (ironically, the claims adjuster echoed a similar independent assessment of the roof’s condition when he assessed it for repairs a few weeks ago). This was my first experience working with Mike as my roofing contractor, my first time ever meeting him, in fact his company came up on Angi’s list and I am already referring him to their family and friends. Again thank you sir and if I could give you a 10, I would.

Outstanding customer service with integrity (what’s best for me opposed to more $$$ for him!). I called multiple folks to provide estimates, and Mike was the only one who provided the reason for the exterior damage opposed to just slapping a bandaid on the “fruit of the root issue”! Mike the only one of all who got up on top of the roof and walked the surface!! ( the only one!!!). This guy found an open hole left from electrical outlet that prior contractor left opened which was giving access to critters and water damage unknowingly to me. Again the only roofer who got on top of roof looking for cause! You believe that?! Other estimates were outrageous and the cause was still unaddressed! Mike did extra work to make the house match ( he just had to make it consistent!!!) outstanding and happy to find him and I highly recommend Mike to anyone looking to correct the issue opposed to padding these fly by fast talking folks!!!! Roofs are meant to last and ultimately it’s all about the way the roofs are originally installed!!

Called him one to do an estimate for a roof repair due to two areas leaking. He came the next the morning gave me an extremely reasonable quote and was able to take care of it right then and there. He went above and beyond and fixed locations that weren’t even related to the leaks in question. He also provided a year warranty on the leaks I called about. Would recommend to any one needing roof repair.

We had a leaking porch roof and tree damage to a shed roof. He was quick to respond, was reasonably priced and did fantastic work! He even did extra! When I need a full new roof, he will definitely be the one I call.

I had a roof leak that went on longer than it should due to another "reputable" company saying that had "repaired" it. Turns out that was not the case. When I called Affordable Roofing and Construction they were there within an hour on my roof and had found the problem and had it fixed right by the days end. They are a great asset to this community due to there reasonable prices, their promptness, and their ability to get the job done the first time, unlike some of the other guys.
