It was a great experience working with Affordable Carpentry. We needed a pool deck done and it was in the middle of the epidemic so wood was hard to come by. He communicated clearly and was on top of securing materials. We even expanded the project and he accommodated the change upon request without issue. Overall great experience and I look forward to utilizing his services again in the future.

We reached out to Ralph on a Sunday morning for some help on a host of items, and he was at our house working within an hour and a half!

He was professional, reasonably priced and did a thorough and excellent job.

We were crunched for time and Ralph was able to get us in the same day! Very professional, polite, did a great job! List of projects: installed closet system, TV mount and two curtain rods, patched and painted small holes, put up a baby gate, reinforced another closet shelf. Thanks Ralph, we'll definitely call him again in the future!

Ralph did a great job re-painting our ceilings (6 rooms). Ralph is a detail oriented hard worker while being very affordable. Ralph is very neat and picks up any mess when he is done. I highly recommend Ralph if you need any kind of carpentry work.

A quick, but pertinent anecdote about Ralph Dowers III. My wife and I were hiking the Stanley Park trails in Westfield, and I tripped on an exposed root and tore my left palm open. I encountered Ralph in the parking lot; and needing water to clean my wound, asked if he had any. He parked his car, immediately gave me water to both drink and flush my wound. He then produced a med kit, applied antiseptic to gauze pads, covered my wound, and placed a latex glove over my hand to protect the site. He then recommended Noble Hospital a short drive away. He then went above and beyond to drive his car ahead of mine leading me right to the emergency room. If you are about to hire Ralph, I wanted you to know about his character, kindness, and willingness to help someone in need. As a teacher and coach of 42 years who recognizes character in the classroom and the playing field, Ralph stands out as the type of person that makes this a better world. He has my sincere thanks and appreciation.
