We went with Bill at Advanced Modernization for the major renovation and 203K loan when we bought our home. These loans are a PAIN in the BUTT unless you have the right contractor – something I did not know until we started the process. We simply would not have gotten the house completed - losing a lot more than money. The bank certainly required a lot from the contractor. He not only helped us through all of this, but also educated us and where we can save along the way without losing value (and why). That’s exceptional in my book.
The project was the renovation of an old Victorian Farmhouse whose second floor needed total gutting. some items :
- New roofs (incl porches
- Second floor gutted (radiators removed), insulated, boarded back up and plastered. New fixtures. New masterbath.
- Lolli column replacements
- Porch railings / beam supports replaced.
- Plumbing / Sewer updates
- New basement door
- Sill painting
We heard through locally he was trustworthy, his prices were right in middle, so went with them. I have never found another company (let alone contractor) as fair and trustworthy as Bill. You wont regret putting your trust in him.

UPDATE: Moved Mom to neighborhood when Dad died. Exceptional as always... even when things went wrong (this was during Covid). Any question we had I just had to call and he'd be there with an answer. Highly soothing for an anxious Mom. He definitely helped in a hard time. Pics to come!

Bill and his team are the absolute best. They return calls and answer questions! This alone is gold. His team is so knowledgeable and so honest. I never have to wonder if they are giving me bad intel or trying to charge me for something I don’t need. I have referred them to many others and they all come back with the same statement. “bill is so honest and he actually communicates!!!

He redid my entire kitchen and finished on time and it is FABULOUS! He is my go to guy moving forward when it comes home improvement!
