I had a full roof repair completed in Nov 2018 by Advanced Restoration. From start to finish, Michael Green was helpful with navigating the insurance process to file a claim, tips to improve the look of the house with 3D software and knowledgeable about new products available in the industry. The installation was fast and performed with care. Communication with Michael started off with in person meetings and transitioned to text messages. Both Michael and the owner Sherif were very responsive via text even after hours. I was thankful that I received Advanced Restorations as a recommendation from a neighbor. Very happy customer and would recommend again!

I don’t normally give out recommendations but this time I need to make an exception.

To start, several other homes in my neighborhood had their siding replaced because of hail damage. I was a little skeptical as what I saw on my home were a few places where it was obvious hail damage but to the untrained eye it looked fine, but I also am not trained in assessing hail damage.

I was approached by an AR representative, Michael, and he informed me that I was under no obligation if my insurance company did not accept my claim. Michael was professional without being pushy. He explained what I needed to do, which was very little.

Below is a list of the activities I needed to perform.
1. I called my insurance company and told them my neighbor, and other homes in the neighborhood, had hail damage and had their siding replaced.
2. I was contacted by my insurance company’s claim adjuster and we agreed to meet at my home along with an Advance Restorations representative. A word of advice, others and I have submitted claims and each time have been rejected by the insurance companies.

NOTE: I strongly suggest having an Advance Restorations representative at your home when the claims adjuster arrives. It’s to the insurance companies benefit if the claim is rejected but it’s more difficult if you have someone who knows how to identify hail damage and is on your side.

3. The insurance claim adjuster and Michael arrived at my house as agreed. The adjuster and Michael walked around my home taking pictures and afterwards the adjuster informed me that I did have hail damage and I would be receiving his estimate and a check in one to two weeks.
4. I received a check from my insurance company, for approximately 4/5 of the total amount, and deposited it. I notified Michael and provided them a check for 30% of the total amount. That evening we were given our choice of siding colors as well as various grades of siding. My options included name brand siding and material. I chose Alside Charter Oak which is the premier siding offered by Alside. Michael informed me they could start work as soon as the daily temperature warmed up. At the time the daily high was in the low teens or colder.
5. After several weeks I sent the Michael a text message and he informed me that I was scheduled for work to begin the following Wednesday. As promised the siding was delivered on Tuesday and work began that Wednesday.
6. The work was completed that Saturday and was beyond my expectations. Before Advance Restorations arrived, my home had several issues where outside light fixtures were loose and my electrical box had separated from the house by approximately an inch. Without being told they corrected each of these problems. At the end of each day the work area was clean. This was important having two dogs. I am not saying you can walk your dog around the work site, only they kept it as neat and clean as they can when replacing the siding.
In summary, Advance Restorations exceeded my expectations by a significant amount and if you have hail damage, give them call! Thanks again Advance Restorations!

And a year later I still feel the same way! Siding looks like it did when Advance Restorations completed the work.

Pricing was always off, numbers never matched up and I had to rerun calculations at the end of the meetings. I felt I was haggling with a used car salesman. And then to top it off he ruined my table runner by spilling his soda on it and never even offered to clean it (in between burps). I was not impressed. We tried. They were referred by good friends but we lost patience and trust.

Through Michael Greene's assistance and persistence we were able to have our insurance company replace our entire roof as opposed to their original offer of patching a few areas from wind damage.
The installation was completed in one day, all old (and construction) material removed and our new roof looks great - we are very happy with the job done by Advanced Restoration!
