Ace & Sons Insulation

I cannot recommend Ace and Sons highly enough. The team is very responsive, accommodating, and respectful of property. The insulation they added to my walls has totally transformed my home. Again, I highly recommend Ace and Sons!

The crew did a great job! They were courteous and filled us in on what they were doing. My house is now much warmer than it was.

Great service all around! The estimator was very prepared with all his equipment. He was extremely knowledgeable and took the time to explain things to me. The crew was great! Very friendly and carrying of my property. The office staff was great over the phone and via text! Over all a great company and service. I can see why they have been in business for 40 years.

Mr. Creed gave a very professional inspection and estimate. He explained all the details to us including information regarding DTE rebates & a tax credit next year. Scheduled appointment to have the installation installed. Employees showed up right on time and were very courteous and careful not to make a mess. Covered all pertinent areas and did a great job with the installation. Cleaned up afterwards and checked with me to see if I had any concerns or questions. I would highly recommend Ace & Sons Installation. My daughter & son-in-law are having theirs done in February.

Last April, Ace and Sons insulated the attic space of my Bungalow home. My attic space is very comfortable even on cold/hot days. My DTE bills have dropped considerably from just doing attic insulation (picture attached). Contacting them to insulate the rest of my home's walls and basement rim joists. Great people and great company!

-Edit- A few months ago, they just insulated my walls. They have now insulated my home top to bottom. Leaving my AC off on a 90 degree day, my home will only gain 4F if starting at 70F. My 1940s bungalow used to be roasting and my AC short cycling. Not any more. This company really works.

We used Ace and Sons about 4 years ago to do our insulation in our walls and they did a great job. This month we had them come back out and do our attic insulation. CJ and Joe were amazing. They touched up some areas we needed done and did the attic in just a few hours. Very happy with their professionalism, service and a job well done! Would definitely recommend them again. Everyone who we have dealt with here from the office, Bill who came out to do our estimate and the crew have been above and beyond friendly.

Air sealed and insulated my very old house, the before and after tells the whole story. The entire process took 3 hours, crew was tidy, and they did an excellent job for what I consider to be a reasonable price.

We were very pleased with our choice of Ace & Sons to add Insulation to our walls. The crew was great. They answered any question we had and worked until job was done. They did a good clean-up. The morter patching was amazing. Really impressed. Surprise result was how quiet the house became. We're the 2nd lot off a 5 lane major street.

I had insulation blown in to my attic and my rim joists in the basement spray foamed with Ace and Sons and they did a great job. Crew was very friendly and respectful. Also I have noticed a huge difference in my house temperature. I keep my house very cold, 69, and before the insulation the temp in the house would slowly creep up to the mid 70s on very hot days. In the last week and a half we have had temps in the 90s and my house hasn’t gotten over 70 degrees. Would highly recommend them!

They were great, professional and very helpful in my needs. My attic needed insulation bad and they came and did a wonderful job. Attic at 1,000 sqft and they definitely didn't disappoint. I recently had my attic insulated (blown in) by Ace and Son's Insulation. The entire process was a breeze, from scheduling, to getting the quote, to getting the job completed. Jordan and his crew were polite, professional and efficient. Jordan discussed the job with me before starting the work, reviewing the quote and explaining the process. Once the job was complete, the crew cleaned up and Jordan did a final walk through with me. Norma was a great help as well, explaining the DTE Rebate process and providing the necessary paperwork. This is a local business that I highly recommend.

I went online and requested a free estimate, someone called back and scheduled an estimate a week later. The day before the estimate someone called and said he wouldn’t be able to come and would give me a rough estimate over the phone, the rough estimate over the phone was absolutely ridiculous. I used this company before and they where ok, I live in a smaller house now, my last house was 6700 sqft, the house I live in now is 2700 sqft, I paid $2500 for the bigger house (6700sqft)and the rough estimate was for the $5500 for the smaller house(2700sqft). They are trying to take advantage of the colder weather. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!

We had our home insulated by Ace and Sons 20+ years ago with the guarantee a revisit would happen to heat scan for poor wall coverage. This never happened. After several phone calls to them with no return calls we finally gave up. We have done some drywall renovations since and found several locations throughout the home that had no insulation. Total waste of money, do not use this company!

Ace and son's installed insulation for me in 2009. The original installers missed some areas of the attic. I didn't discover the oversite until I had a bees nest in the attack and when investigating that I found some areas were not insulated. I call Ace and Sons. They sent out a guy int confirm my story and then scheduled a team to correct the issue and even upgrade some areas that had settled over the years. The guy were very knowledgeable and friendly. They took their time to fix all the issues. I can't say enough about how they stood behind the lifetime guarantee and continued to contact me for scheduling and to give me etas. The installers were very friendly and explained everything they were about to do and then had me inspect the work when it was complete. What a great experience to find a company and employees that stand behind their work.

WOW. Let me tell you something... I needed insulation and got quotes from 9 other companies until I found Ace. They are called ace because they are Aces at what they do and top notch overall. I was blown away at every step of the way and my grandma is going to use them soon too.

Ace & Sons insulated our crawl space, which had been a consistent issue in terms of cold drafts during the winter. Their team was diligent about inspecting the current condition, coming up with a plan and executing, as they promised. They were good sports about crawling into a very tight space and cleaning up a few unrelated issues around the duct work and vapor barrier. I would highly recommend Ace & Sons for any insulation related job.

Ace and Sons is by far the best insulation company around, they were extremely helpful with me as I am not familiar with insulation and what type is best for my home, and have never had much work done on my home before. They were very nice and patient with me, if you’re looking for an insulation company to use, don’t look any further this is the best!

Professional, tidy, prompt, and efficient. They installed dense fill cellulose into the exterior wall cavities of my 1960s colonial, which took two full days. The owner gave us the quote which was competitive to the other one we received, but Ace and Sons differentiated by service and quality workmanship. Highly recommended.

Wonderful experience working with this company. Bill made a very thorough plan and personally came to instruct the crew on all of the details.They called to let us know when they would be coming which is rare these days! The guys were all very professional and friendly, did a great job and came back promptly to reconnect a cable line that was accidentally disconnected in the attic. We would use them again and will highly recommend them for insulation.

They insulated walls in my family room. Thought it was going to be foam but was blown in cellulose. Worked on it all day and did a decent job. Didn’t reattach my vinyl siding correctly and had to come back. Still wasn’t quite right and I had to fix it. Don’t really notice Y difference. Still cold in the room. Not worth it to me

They did a great job of "blowing insulation in my attic space and exterior walls." I contracted them to install insulation in the attic and wall. The attic was done nicely, the house feels wormer already. They where not able to do the walls because they were worried about damaging the aluminum siding. I was kind of stuck on the price because the attic and walls were not priced separately. I asked to have a permit, non was taken out. I am sure it was done correctly. While they were showing me why they couldn’t do the walls, they broke a wall figure, nothing was said about replacing it. Everyone was kind and cleaned up well.

I hired Ace and Sons to install insulation into my attic that essentially did not have insulation. They installed 13" of blown in insulation. The team that did the insulation was very kind and professional, and explained what they were doing along the way. The office team was very kind also, and were patient with my questions. I had received quotes from other companies, but with the experience i received from Ace and Sons, I would highly recommend them over any others!

They cleaned up the mess inside the house and said I basically had zero Insulation in the walls. I used Ace and Sons Insulation, Inc. To install blown in callous insulation intonmy attic and am so happy I did!! I live in a 2 story colonial in Livonia that previously had only 2-4 inches of blown-in fiberglass. The upstairs was freezing in the winter and very hot in the summer. I noticed the difference immediately and my AC doesn't need to be on low to cool off the upstairs anymore. My Consuners bill last month was $50 cheaper than the month before even with the temperature being hotter than the month before....the company was fast, courteous and sid a great job cleaning up after themselves. My only regret is not installing insulation sooner.

The experience we had with ace and sons on 7/21/22 was excellent. We originally had them coming out to blow insulation in the attic and walls. All three gentlemen were knowledgeable, as well respectful of my home. During the process of starting on the walls, they found the walls were already packed with insulation. They made us aware immediately and we ended up saving money in the end. Overall it was a great experience. Since insulation in the attic, our house has been so much cooler in the last couple weeks and our AC hasn’t been running as much. I love that the temperature is no longer fluctuating in my house. We will be recommending Ace & Sons Insulation to all our family and friends!

The guys from Ace and sons came out to our house in Farmington hills last week and what a great job they did! We had them put insulation into the attack of our home and the day of we could notice the home was colder even on the top level of the home! Great job over all! 5 stars all day!

Crew was punctual and I could not be happier, as they were applying insulation I could hear how quiet it was making the house, my husband and his "man hearing" even noticed. This has been one of the best investments that could have been made to our home.

Canceled on the morning the project was scheduled to begin. No advanced warning, 8:10am phone call and stated the crew would not arrive. Owner said "We have every right to reschedule without notice." If you have a busy schedule and need to take a day off work, good luck planning anything around that policy.

After not being able to agree on terms/discount for my lost work and troubles, I did receive a refund of the deposit. Owner stated "You’re actually not entitled to that back either."

Don't bother scheduling a project with the company.

The person that came out was very professional and gave me a lot of information. I will be referring this company to people.
