Ace Hardware Great Falls

Not just a guy store, items for women too!Great place, little bit of Everything. Much more than a hardware store. Spices,rubs BBQ Accessories, kitchen wares. Garden supplies. Deco for inside and out. Friendly, helpful employees. Clean, well organized.

The personalities of those we encounter when going into Ace Hardware make me want to return to purchase all of my hardware needs. Their workers are well trained and, if they can't answer your question, they find someone who can.
I also appreciate that they hire young, personable folks to work with them: several are college students who need to earn money to return to their schools.

Shopping at Ace Hardware is always a pleasant experience as the Associates are always polite and helpful. I can always purchase what I need at Ace. I am grateful we have Ace Hardware here!

Usually a fantastic experience with the majortity of employees being very helpful and enthusiastic, with the exception of one older man who is consistently unpleasant to deal with. I generally prefer this Ace over other hardware stores in town, however I find myself actively avoiding this particular employee every time I visit due to his short temper and overall bad attitude. I had trouble finding one item (that I did eventually find). He passive aggressively asked if I needed help only to interrupt me multiple times while explaining what I was looking for and ultimately dismissing me entirely after 30 seconds. I pulled up a picture of the part I was looking for and attempted to get help from another employee who recognized that you had it in stock and simply asked him to help find it, to which he snapped at both me and the employee saying "We already did this!" to imply that I was simply wasting people's time. The other employee apologized for his temper and I decided to just find the part on my own, taking about 20 minutes of blind wandering when this man could have easily looked it up and saved everybody the time and effort. I enjoy shopping at this location very much, but after this interaction I don't see myself returning, at the very least I will continue to actively avoid this unpleasant employee.

Steve was incredibly helpful and professional! I went to multiple stores to try to find river floats for the weekend, and Steve took the time to confirm that they had them and set them aside for me. The service was far better than anywhere else I've been to in town! 10/10 would shop here again.

Love this place. Sometimes, I just go there to look around. I love the way it smells in there. This is every real man's favorite store to go to. The staff is helpful but not pushy or overbearing. They know when to help and know when to give you space. My grandpa used to bring me to his local ace and one day I'll be bringing my grandkids. God bless America.

I needed help selecting a specific type of spray paint to use on metal. There was a young lady tried to help but asked for a person who worked in paint dept. He was an older man who was very abrupt and my first impression very grumpy. Sorry he has to be working if it doesn't make him happy.

Need weird things here is the place they have what no one else does love ace they are friendly and helpful

I was quickly guided to the product I needed. The associates cared about my needs and limitations and answered my questions fully. I bought a lawn mower that is a perfect fit for me and my large yard.

Very convenient. Some of their items are are good price some are not so pay attention to what you are buying. The staff is always amazing they will always meet you and bring you right to what you are looking for

I use a lot of coupons and online ads. When ace hardware had their current ad up on their local Facebook I noticed a coupon and thought perfect I can use that. Went to the store saw a pile of ads and thought I'd just utilize the online ad and leave the paper for someone else. Sadly they wouldn't even honor it even when they went out and got an ad it had been cut out. To my surprise when I went out and looked as I left every single ad paper had that coupon cut out. Why advertise it in your ad or even on the ad online and then not honor yet. Sadly I won't be returning to this local Ace.

This is a large store, with more stock that most. It's always a good feeling shopping at Ace, knowing that we are supporting a local business.

My issue involved my Ego trimmer. It would not rewind new string. I purchased it several years ago? I was not able to find my warranty nor paper work? The front desk did everything they could. Then along came John from the outdoor equipment department. John made everything right. To say I am a satisfied customer is an understatement. Thank you so much Ace. These are great people and store!!! Please thank them for me.

Ace is always a bit more expensive but the help you get is priceless. I was helped twice today with a smile and friendliness by the same girl. Even the register girl was helpful and pleasant. Thank you.

They seem to have at least one of everything (it seems). Plenty of service employees and all are very friendly and helpful.
