From early November 2023 until late January, 2024, I left Chicago area on my bicycle with only my dog and peddled to Key West Florida. During that trip, early January 2024, when it was very cold yes in Florida there, it’s cold and about to get very wet, my bicycle needed three minor, very small bolts to secure the racks for the luggage, tiny little things, but the bike was not rideable and there’s no bicycle repair shops within hundreds of miles of this team, they understood Jenny were on them rather precarious situation, the three of them work together for over an hour to make sure I had everything I needed to the bike would be secure and safe to be on our way before the weather got worse thank you everyone

The friendliest people on earth! The owner Mark is a great guy. You will never lack in assistance here plus you will find everything you need and more.

The staff was courteous and extremely helpful. We took a quick tour around the store after we had found what we were looking for and were impressed with the variety of items that were in stock.

The service is absolutely the best, and the employees are always so happy, friendly and helpful. They really seem like they enjoy their job. The managers always try to make sure they carry the stuff we need for our business. The owner Mark is smart, knowledgeable and hands on. It seems like he is always there. Just all around the best!

The go to place for all things hardware related. Fairly competitive pricing given that it is one of only two hardware stores in the Apalachicola, Florida area. 05-18-2024 Update: Still one of only two hardware/building supply outfits in the area. Prices have soared - just as they have everywhere. Sadly Ace no longer stocks and inventories a lot of what they used to. An unfortunate decision but perhaps an economic one for the owner. COVID had, and still has, a killing effect economically in this area of Florida. Ace is as good a place as any to get basic hardware items, paint, lumber (choose your own boards to be sure of quality). But you'll pay a premium price.

Just a nice and efficient group of people that run this place. The owner is the sweetest gentleman and family man. With that in mind the store is well stocked and well organized. Jeannell the manager is no longer there. We will miss her terribly!!! I am afraid the store as a whole will miss her too!!! We go here very often. In the spring they have a great selection of plants and bedding plants...ferns.....always potting soils and fertilizer. This year's shipment so far is not as big or as pretty as last year. But isn't that with everything!!!!!!!!! Bicycles...grills...fishing gear...building supplies. You need it they got it or can get it for you.
