I first called Jim nearly 8 years ago for a minor leak and over the years have called for other minor roofing issues - and he and the team just replaced my roof. Always professional, timely, and honest in his assessment. I feel fortunate to have come across his name and number all these years back. Love the new roof!

After purchasing a home, the homeowners insurance would not insure our home because they inspected the roof and told us we need replacement. This being a priority, we started to contact many contractors and we had estimates in a wide range of prices and wide range of how many square feet of roof we had. Some contractor never followed up with us after looking at our roof and one contractor actually gave us a price of $23,000 dollars! After my husband and I doing further research on Yahoo we came across Above and Beyond Contracting and seen that they had five star rating. We called and spoke to Jim about giving us a price on our roof. Jim was a professional and put us at ease, he came looked at our roof and explained what he was going to do and how he was going to do it and the products he was going to use giving us a reasonable price. We gave the OK to do the roof expecting that the wait time was going to be long because that's what most contractors do once they have your down payment. We explained to Jim that we need this done ASAP and he said OK!. He came for an estimated on Thursday signed and gave him a deposit on Sunday..
The roof was completed on MONDAY!!!!!. as he promised before the snow storm. He also sent pictures to us of the progress while doing the work. My husband coming from a construction background, the work on the roof is just outstanding! and clean, done professionally. Most of all he is honest and backs his work. I don't know how he got a dumpster, product and knocked it out in one day but he impressed us. I would highly recommend Jim and his company to anyone who is looking to replace their roof.

In 2014 Jim & his crew stripped our old roof away and replaced. He even matched both our shed roofs to match the new house roof. Additionally he added a tube skylight to an interior windowless bathroom so now we get natural light in there most of the day.

We had received a quote from another roofer for more than twice the cost to repair roof vent collars. We heard from a friend about Above and Beyond Contracting and how satisfied she was with them. We contacted Above and Beyond and the job was completed within days of us calling. Jim was professional, respectful ( wore a mask) and did some extra repair to resolve our problem. Well, we had a lot of rain within month and leak happened again and called Jim thinking it was same problem. Jim again returned to our home went in attic and could see problem ( not a roofing problem but plumbing problem) 2 pipes were not connected and repaired at no cost. This I am sure saved us several hundred dollars. Thank you so much Jim and Above and Beyond. Would highly recommend not just for cost but quality of job and honesty.

We received 4 quotes from different places. Jim was the only contractor to climb on the roof and and give us an accurate quote. He came in cheaper than everyone else. He was professional, on time, and did an amazing job. He replaced our roof in one day and did our gutters with gutter shields later in the week. Everything came out excellent! You need a contractor who does quality work like Jim when doing your roof . There is no no permit process or inspection by the township. Jim used high quality underlayment along with with the shingles to insure a quality job. I would certainly recommend him.

Had eight (*) here yesterday. They arrived exactly when Jim said to expect them and worked hard until they were finished at 6:10. They did a WONDERFUL job replacing my roof. It's beautiful!! What was a real surprise though was the care they gave to keeping my house protected with curtains and tarps and THEN they cleaned up afterwards. Outstanding, honest company. I wish I could give more stars. I had what I thought was a leaking roof as well as rotting wood in my attic. Jim came out told us what exactly was going on which was not what we thought. Then he gave us some great tips to save us money. After calling a long list of roofing companies to look at two small, intermittent leaks in our roof, we had the chance to talk with Jim. What a breath of fresh air Jim was! After being instructed, twice rudely, by several roofers that they wouldn’t repair it, most of them sight unseen - one went so far as mocking our choice, saying, “ok, so you’re just going to keep repairing it over and over, I guess,” even though this is our first issue - Jim came and spent over an hour explaining, showing, and discussing what was happening and why we were seeing water enter the roof. When he was done, he’d repaired our two small leaks and explained we could wait for a new roof till spring. By the time he had finished working with us, we completely understood what our best plan of action would be. We highly recommend Jim for any roofing needs - he goes “above and beyond” for his customers and wants you to fully understand what he’s seeing on your roof, the best plan of action, and what you can expect from him.
