I received a postcard from them and I called and the guy came to my house for an estimate for new siding in a black electric car( I don't know if he was the roofer or boss) was polite. I should have called around for more estimates but took his advice and nobody has come to put the siding and it's a few months later. He has canceled numerous appointments through the women who take his calls. Don't waste your time with them. They told me he has trouble finding helpers right now and the other lady told me the kind of siding I chose ,the one he recommended, was not in stock right now. I'm sorry I dealt with him.

They were supposed to install a new roof on my house and they canceled many appointments. I was never able to talk to the roofer himself about a time only his receptionist Maha. She was nice in the beginning but then got nasty to me when I wanted to set a date. I'm still waiting for installation 3 1\2 months later.

Had a very frustrating experience with this place. They came immediately for the estimate but after I chose a new roof they never gave me a date to install. You can never speak to the man who came only the lady who takes calls. Said her name was Maha. Finally she made a date calls day before said family emergency would be away two weeks. I understood. Many weeks passed never heard from them. Many calls to them later and still no roof. They don't even call me back. See all these good reviews this wasn't my experience.

We had a leak in one of our skylights so happy we called A1A they were on time very professional and did an awesome job. It rained so hard the next day NO LEAKS. Definitely calling them back if I ever have roof issues. They even cleaned the dust on the wall. Wish i could give them a 10

I highly recommend A1A for all your roofing needs. The owner/operator Kimme did a fantastic job repairing my leaky roof. He was professional, punctual and neat. He went out of his way to address other issues that I didn't know I had with my roof at no extra charge. It's rare these days to see the owner of the business performing the work as if it were their home. I'm glad I went with A1A and would use them again.

Have used their service on multiple occasions. Once
for replacement of shingles on roof including skylight and recently chalking of windows and door frame. Very professional, clean up area after job is done. Very professional, highly recommended.

After noticing a few minor leaks, I called Kimi who came out and inspected my roof the next day. He confirmed the leaks and identified several other deficiencies, walking me through the issues with detailed photos. He gave two options: repair the leaks or address all deficiencies and clean gutters. I opted to repair all issues. He gave me a date within that week, showed up on-time, and completed the work safely, sharing photos of the completed work. I recommend A1A.

Kimmie did a great job. He was quick and neat. He replaced 3 skylights for me , he finished the outside and inside , very professional.

I should of left this review months ago. Kimi installed a new layer of roofing for me including new skylights and vents and gave a excellent warranty on his work.

Answered all the stupid questions I had and was very easy to contact and talk to. He completed my work in the summer and I recently sold that house and even the home inspector said how good the roofing job looked to him.

Very satisfied with my new roof. Had a few companies stop by and give me quotes. Decided to go with Kimmy based on the materials he used (thicker plywood than any other company and name brand shingles), his guarantee, and his professionalism. Explained everything to me that would be done . He went the extra mile to ensure it was done correctly. He remained on site the entire time, meaning he was on the roof working and supervising his crew. He sent me pictures of the job as he progressed. Easy person to speak with. His crew came on time and worked non-stop until completion. They cleaned up the entire area, setting up protection around the house. The roof looks immaculate, can definitely see and feel the difference in the attic, Great job! I would highly recommend A1A.

Kimmy is very professional. Takes his time to make sure the job is done right. Some jokesters were telling me they can replace my roof in one day without even looking at it. We recently had our siding done on our house due to leaks. We had tried numerous contractors to figure out the problem to no avail. We called A1A roofing and spoke with Kimmy. He came to our house and figured out the problem right away. The work was above and beyond our expectations. Kimmy was extremely knowledgeable and finally we are now leak free.

Kimmy was a pleasure to work with. He was able to repair damaged siding and made it look like it was never damaged. I watched him and saw he didn't take any shortcuts. We called several other roofing and siding contractors prior and they all just wanted to replace the siding for the whole house. Kimmy worked with us and provided professional advise that saved us money and time. His thorough inspection found other potential risks. He brought it up to our attention and he was able to remediate the issues in a timely manner.

At the end of his work with us he was still smiling and very personable.

Kimmy (Owner of A1A) great guy to deal with and very honest. Provides great prices, work and services. Kimmy did a couple of jobs for me, glad to see someone still taking pride in what they do. Will be recommending him to family and friends.

The guys at A1A live up to their 5 star reviews left by others. Courteous, great communication, on time, great quality work and are true professional. They offer clients options, no upselling and very fair prices. I like the fact that they are not in this for the money grab like so many other contractors but rather, build relations with clients.

I am glad I was able to find my "go to guys" for anything related to roofing today.

Can't say enough about them. KImmy the owner is a gentleman and so was his crew. Had a slight roof leak over brand new bathroom thought it was skylight. Crew checked all sealed more than expected. KImmy told me all my options on repairs. Did not trying to force anything on you. Replace attic fan rewired it and installed another vent for bathroom fan, reshingled roof, cleaned gutters, sealed chimney, placed cap over chimney. Never expected all that and even better reasonable priced.
Will see when it rains but I feel I will have no issues will update.

Ps: informed him of father house that had a slight leak found out what was wrong repaired all. Ran right up took care of that......even gave neighbor and estimate. Will definitely recommend him at anyone who needs a roofer

After years of putting tarps on my garage roof and watching pieces of the siding on my house fall off I decided to call a professional for help. I spoke to a few roofing contractors, however Kimmy from A1A Roofing was the only one who who took the time to stop by my home and explain what was needed, how it was going to be done and gave me a good price. Had the best experience ever with A1A . We had the siding replaced and roof done. Price was fair and work was completed on schedule and looks awesome. The owner Kimmy was there with his crew during the entire process. They left the property spotless. Absolutely no complaints. Would definitely recommend this company.

We found A1A Roofing thru our neighbors recommendation. For years, we had problem gutters, especially, a cronic problem with a gutter at the rear of the house which has been repaired several times from overflowing. Kimmy reviewed the issue and came up with a solution we never heard before, and seamed logical. With the other house roof maintenance work, flashing and cleaning of roof leaders (which was just done last winter by others and we have gutter guards!), Kimmy also gave us a great price to reroof a large and difficult shed with quality life warrantied shingles. There were openings in the soffit for two family's of squarels. Kimmy explained how he would fix the problem as well as options for the new roof.

The work was a two day job. Kimmy and crew arrived on time both days (they even work Saturday's) and got right to work. They were professional and cleaned up after themselves to the point of using a leaf blower to get everything off the roof and ground. There was extre work that they did like removing three satellite dishes at no extra charge. The agreed to price was paid. We are fully satisfyed with the work that Kimmy and his crew provided. If you are looking for an honest and reasonable price, quality work and a understandable contractor, it is A1A. We will be using A1A when needed in the future and recommend them highly.

Great experience! I heard squirrels running through my ceiling and walls over the winter. Come spring i noticed that my gutters were sagging where the squirrels broke in and roof shingles looked askew. No more nuts for those little buggers! I called A1A because of all the positive reviews. Kimmy came by as scheduled he gave me two options to take care of the problem. He scheduled a day to do the work, showed up on time finished it in a day and kept to the estimate. Very knowledgeable, professional and great price. I found this A1A Roofing and Home Improvement via a local magazine. I was shopping around for an estimate to apply a new roof over existing, to install a solar attic fan, to add a new vinyl siding with 1” R-5 value insulation over an existing stucco wall, and to replace all old soffits, fascia boards, gutter trays and gutter guards. I had couple of contractors came over to give estimates. One contractor came very rush without climbing up to roof and gave a very unreasonable price. Second contractor came two separate days oral and written estimate is huge difference. Third contractor is from A1A
Roofing and Home Improvement. He was willing to spend time to explain to me what to do and how to do to avoid future leak with an average price. Last contractor gave me super cheap price by repairing all soffits, fascia boards, gutter trays or gutter guard and unwilling to replace them. I had gutter trays repair and it didn’t help instead it got worst. To me, repair is only good for a temporary solution. Of course, I ended up chose A1A Roofing and Home Improvement. He came again and explaining everything in more details with patience both cons and pros which made me learn a lot and I get to choose color/types of siding, architectural roofing shingles, insulation, and rubber. He also said, “Trust me! I like to spend time on each project with a high quality result.” In addition, he suggested what features I should have when I shop for my solar attic fan. We spent more than 2 hours of talking before we sign a contract with a small down payment. At the same time, I have a strong feeling this is the right contractor I am looking for. The project finished couples day ago. It took him 4 days to finish. Day 1, he did my roof and installed the solar attic fan. When he finished the roof, he took some photos of my new roof. He also did some design to make my roof look better even the spot that I can’t see by standing outside. Day 2 & 3, he did vinyl siding with insulation and shingles in front of my house. Those 2 days, I could see what his was doing. I went out and check his progress every now and then so that I can learn as well. As promised, he did really spend time and to get my project done in detail and precise. He is not the type of person just do as told. While is he working, he is also thinking how to get it better and willing to spend extra time to apply further protections to minimize future potential problems. Day 4, the last day, he replaced all gutters, gutter guards, soffits and fascia boards back of my house. To my surprised, he installed a good heavy duty of gutter guards instead of a normal quality one. He secured all my soffits will screws. He cleaned all vinyl siding follow by caulking my window frames and garage. I would definitely highly recommend this company. He is willing to spend lots of time to explain or even drawing diagram to ensure you are full understanding how he will get the job done. This is what it called a best customer service. He quotes an average price and not the cheapest, but you will guarantee a high quality of work return than quantity. This is also exactly what I am looking for. Now, I am waiting any type of storms (summer and winter) to prove his quality of work that was worth to pay. Job completed in June 2014.
