Bill Thompson of A-1 Roofing I have known since 2007 when he first installed a new roof on my screen porch. I did not hesitate to call him again in 2021 to replace it with a new roof. He just completed it and all I can say is he did and absolute fabulous job. He recommended an installation board and additional to a new roof and it I was blown away by the difference for very little cost. He is conscientious and continual checks over the work during installation as well as reviewing it with me upon completion. Bill Thompson is the company no middle person involved and he tells you only what he thinks is best for you. He earns my 5 Star rating.

I wouldn't hire this company if they paid me to. I requested a quote to add some flashing to a vent and do a simple cosmetic repair on a gable.

Bill spent less than 60 seconds looking – he didn't even get on the roof to inspect it more closely. Verbally quoted $850. No written quote, no estimate of how long it would take, etc. Extremely unprofessional. I have zero confidence in this company and will be hiring someone else.

The owner Bill fixed all my leaks from the ice storm. He also repaired other roofing and gutter problems (a bunch of roofing issues). His price is extremely reasonable. He is honest and works until the problem is fixed. I highly recommend him.

This review is long overdue. As a new homeowner 12 years ago, I don’t know what I would have done if Bill hadn’t entered my life. I had a leak in my roof and I had no paperwork that showed that A-1 Roofing had done the work. His honesty, professionalism and wonderful work was priceless. We had to completely replace our roof and was fortunate enough to come across Bill to do the work.
He done an amazing job and got it done much faster than expected, which was very convenient. We got a few estimates done and Bill was the most reasonable but with quality work. I will use his company for all work needed in the future.

They did a new roof and some repairs for us. The job was well done and they came back when they said they would to guarantee their work! All at a reasonable price.

I discovered a leak near the fireplace that the previous owners of the home neglected to mention (just moved 2 months ago and was "looked past" during the inspection). In and out in just a few hours, A1 had the leak sealed and the day was saved! Quality service from a quality business. I will definitely go to them again if future repairs are needed!
