Great inspector - got to all the spaces in the house I either could not go or didn't want to go. He found a leak in the crawlspace that I would not have known about (and I was able to get the seller to have it repaired prior to sale). VERY thorough. Great communication - Greg followed up a few times with additional suggestsions and ideas for some of the problems he had found.

Greg is an awesome home inspector. We used him for a few houses during our buying journey and he was thorough on all inspections. As buyer's not currently in the area and buying sight unseen, he really went the extra mile to look at things very closely for us and even worked with our realtor to make videos to talk us through any specific bigger issues. We would absolutely recommend Greg!

Greg was amazing! I opted to inspect a new construction home and it's a good thing I did. Although there weren't many concerns, Greg did find a major red flag electrical box placement error that could have been deadly. What a blessing! Not only did he do a thorough job but he took the time to explain and educate me on the things he saw. He also added tid bits of "for the future" information that are going to benefit the maintenance of the house. Thanks Greg!

We couldn’t have asked for a better home inspector! It’s scary buying a house, even a newer one, you jump into it with so many unknowns. In every way, Greg is terrific at his job. He is friendly, polite, professional, prompt, and a great communicator. Even more, he is extremely knowledgable about every single part of a house. He pored over every detail that he could access, even finding four nails missing on the deck. I was so grateful for him sharing with me how components work, especially the propane fireplace. I was able to record him explaining how different features work, which will be really helpful down the road. He even flew a drone over the roof to inspect it! The report was well organized and color coded, with photos and videos of things needing attention. It was such a relief to know what we need to address down the road (mostly minor stuff). Thank you Greg, for the report, and for our peace of mind, which you can’t really put a price on!

Buying a home, especially a new construction home can be scary, especially with all of the nightmare stories that you hear. It was very important for us to find an inspector that knew their stuff and that would make sure we were getting our moneys worth. We found that with Zimmerman inspections. Greg walked us through the whole process from start to finish, he was very communicative and he was timely arriving at the site before us to conduct the final walk through. Greg used all of the latest technology to assist with the inspection to make sure that nothing was missed. He even identified an area on our porch that needed a safety railing due to the height. The report that Greg provides afterwards is very thorough with clear pictures so that you can identify the issue he is describing. And if all of this doesn’t sell you on using Greg’s service then I’ll add in that his prices are very reasonable. In summary Greg is very professional and will inspect your home with the homeowner in mind. If you’re looking for a thorough inspector, Greg is your guy.

Describing Greg's work as phenomenal is simply an understatement! I was referred to him by a trusted source, and I am beyond impressed with his expertise and efficiency. As a potential buyer of a home built in 1996, there were nuances I missed that Greg caught immediately. For instance, he identified mold residue on an inlet water pipe—a result of condensation—which he expertly assessed, preventing what could have escalated into a major mold issue. Equipped with the right tools and a keen eye for detail, Greg is thoroughly professional. I highly recommend him to anyone purchasing a home. Just a note: allow him to focus entirely during his inspections to ensure the best results. Thank you, Greg, for your exceptional assistance

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
