Stay so far away!!! We hired Jonathan to fix a ridge vent leak we had when we moved into our new home. We planned on replacing the roof in a few years but wanted to hold off as we had a lot of move-in expenses so decided to Target the only real problem the roof currently had. We had been through several quoting processes and kept hitting dead ends with no shows and non-licensed roofers. Jonathan called and seemed competent, gave us a price around what we expected and had received from a couple others, and said he could do the job quickly, and promised a 2 year warranty on his work. So we went with it and set up a time for him to come do it. Everything seemed fine the day it was done and Jonathan was nice enough.

Then the problems started. It took weeks and constant reminders just to get an invoice from him. Finally he sent it apologizing because they had a lot to do before the holidays. Fine. We also had insulation replaced in our attic afterwards and had the contractor comment on the not so great looking job that was done but, we figured as long as it was working, who cared what it looked like as we knew we planned to fix the whole roof in a year or two.

Fast forward approximately two months. My husband came.home from work one day and pulling into the driveway realized the shingles Jonathan had put on were starting to look like they were peeling back. We took pictures, texted them to Jonathan and we're weld he would have someone here that week to fix it. That was the last time we heard from him. We tried for a month to get in touch via calls/emails/texts from both me and my husband, even asking him to just tell us if he wasn't going to fix it. Nothing. We finally decided to just get our roof fixed. We have had several roofers here for estimates (we are being much more selective this time) and all have commented on the terrible "fix". The guy we hired explained and took some pictures for us and said it was clear the guy who did it didn't know what he was doing and also used the wrong sized nails/clearly just used all different kinds of scrap pieces to do the work. On top of all this, we now need to make sure the ridge vent didn't leak again into our newly placed insulation.

If you want quality work and good communication do not use this company. It's been the worst and most unprofessional experience we have ever dealt with. My husband even let him know (after 3.5 weeks of trying to contact) that we would be letting others know about our experience if he did not at least call us and tell us he wouldn't fix it or try to rectify the situation and nothing, so he clearly does not care.

Edit: The company is now responding to some of the reviews I posted stating they told us the roof needed to be fixed and we cancelled the check which is why they never came back. However, this is extremely not true. He did mention there could be problems with the cold weather but to call him and he would fix it. That is what we did and he did say he would have someone here by the end of the week. That was the last we heard from him. This was two months after he cashed the check. We have evidence in our acct that the funds were delivered to him and there is no way to cancel funds two months after they have already been paid via check. Just figured I'd jump ahead of the lies. Thank you.

Hired World Wide Roofing to replace all the rotten siding on our house. They gave a price to do it in one day and we agreed after showing them each spot that needed repair. They came out for 2 days and did a little over half of the boards and told us to go ahead and pay and then contact the CEO Jonathan Smith to have someone come out and finish the job. We have been trying to contact Jonathan for weeks and he has gone from saying someone will take a look, to saying the job is complete, and recently is not responding at all. Nobody has come back to look at the work after the first two days. I feel ripped off because they took our money and ran.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
