Window World of Delmarva

I called them and shared what we were looking for in a custom window and the lady told me she was going to have someone give me a call. I never heard back, so I called again the next day and same thing happened and I never heard back. I called one more time and explain to them that I've been waiting for someone to get back to me and no one has and they promised that someone was going to call me by the end of that day. Never heard back. This is day number four, not calling them back again. Moving on to another window manufacturer. If I were you I would do the same.

BUYER BEWARE! Waited 2.5 months for what I thought was a Window World custom made full-view storm door. If you Google, " Does Window World make their own storm doors?" Comes back, "Yes". Turns out they installed a Larson storm door I could have purchased at my local Lowes immediately. Why the wait? They had a subcontractor come out and do the install. Paperwork makes no reference to Larson. Seems shady that they make you wait, appearing to make your custom door, and the hide the fact that your purchasing a Larson on their paperwork. Screen was extremely flimsy, cheaply made and the door isn't square in the opening. I was charged $1,745.00 for a door I could have purchased at Lowe's for $533.70 (with hardware). Contacted them about my concerns and the installation delay. Still waiting to hear back. Charged nearly double what I could have paid a decent contractor and bought the door myself. Crazy because we had a great experience with our Window World sliding patio door....in Pennsylvania! That and made in the USA is why we used them in the first place. Live and learn.

The workers who came to our home were professional, courteous and very thorough. They explained how everything works and made sure we were satisfied with their work.

Charles came out to replace some of my window panes. He did an excellent job. I recommend Window World and I will use them in the future.

All service has been very good. A large windows that was ordered for my living room came in damaged. Was reordered immediately and came in in about 3 weeks and was installed without any problems.

My 3-season room was completed a couple of weeks ago and I love it! My sales person, Joseph Bay, was thorough with the information I needed to know. I am so pleased with the entire project. The metal door plate and one screen need to be replaced but I've already spoken to customer service who were receptive and expect them to follow through with the replacements. My overall experience has been wonderful and I would refer Window World and use them again.

I needed to have one of my windows replaced. When I called to report the issue the lady handing the call was very professional! She explained the process thoroughly. When the window came in I got a call to set up a time for replacement. The whole process couldn’t have been any easier. The day before the repair I received an email reminding of the appointment. The day of the repairs I received a call from Robert telling me when would arrive. Robert was extremely courteous and did a great job. Hats off to Robert!!

It’s hard to find the kind of service I received today. When we get ready to replace our house windows, we will be calling Window World.

Their customer service and technicians are great! We had to have a window replaced and they made the process so easy! The service technician, Robert was the nicest guy! He called to check on the best time for me, was on time, very professional, and great with my two crazy dogs! Very pleased with the service and windows!

Our job took 4 days, which was chaotic, but the installers could not have been nicer, more accommodating or more industrious. It was a huge job, even though we only had some of our windows replaced, including two very large round top windows, many window and transom combinations and a sliding door unit. Add to that a three story home with little wiggle room on either side, they were miracle workers. We love the windows and installation and would highly recommend Window World to anyone! Thanks!!!!

Isaac, was extremely professional and communicated extremely well through the process. The prices were reasonable. When the contractors came to complete the work, it was clear that they were very experienced. They did a great job and finished in a reasonable time.

From the beginning with the salesman, to the customers service when calling into the office, as well as them coming out to measure the windows, and keeping me informed throughout the whole process. Today the installers Tim & his partner were just great. Kept me informed as well throughout , very knowledgeable, and outstanding professional work, Very impressed that they also had the office staff come out to experience and learn the field side of Window World & one of the owners came out to introduce himself and check on the job as well. I contracted with Isaac (co-owner/salesman) from Window World about 3 weeks ago to replace 19 windows on a brick rancher. He was very knowledgeable and helpful and when I got a call 2 1/2 weeks later to say the windows were in and they were ready to install, I was amazed. The installation team was hard-working and efficient. (shout out to Tim Hall and his partner). The windows were installed in a timely fashion, and any question that I had was answered immediately. I can’t tell you how excited I am and how great these windows look. I highly recommend Window World and their installation team. Thank you, Isaac and Tim for all you did to make this project happen. I got a quote for doors and John Michalik was excellent. He was professional and friendly. I highly recommend him for anything that you need done.

Contracted with Window World to replace six “contractor grade” windows in our 10-year old home. We’d used another “name brand” window company to replace another nine windows (at a much higher price per window). Don’t be foolish! Window World has an excellent product, they stand behind their product, and I can honestly say that I would have gone with Window World for the first nine windows but for my wife who liked the other guy’s sales representative cuz she thought he was cute and was about to have a baby! Just sayin’ is all.

Isaac came out quickly and promptly. Came prepared with material for us to review. Had an instant itemized price quote that he walked me through. Everything was very transparent, not like I would receive extra costs down the road. Professional, friendly. Highly recommend!

I had called Window World to come out for an estimate on two attic windows to be replaced. Issac showed up the next day and was very professional. He showed us our options and answered all the questions we had about the process. Very good company to deal with!!

Got around to replacing my windows after holding it off forever, and the quality products, great service, and timely installation are somewhat inspiring me to see what else I can replace around the house! Door is a little old so might reach out again here soon guys haha! Can't recommend enough.

I ordered a storm door back in September. December they came with the wrong door and supposedly ordered a new one. I am still waiting. I have no good reviews for this company. I will never recommend them. This is ridiculous it’s a standard size storm door. And they don’t even call to give updates.

Window World delivered excellent service with a courteous, kind and very helpful staff. From the ordering process with the sales rep to the helpfulness of the office staff to Tim and Kevin ( our installers) our experience was exceptional! I will recommend Window World to anyone needing new or replacement windows! I will be a returning customer!!!!

Windows ordered the end of May and were installed 11/1/24. Installers arrived on time. I was greeted by Doug, who explained their installation process. One of the first things Doug said was to thank me for choosing Window World. All the guys were courteous and professional. They were finished in one day. Doug went over warranty, and we checked the operation of all windows. He thanked me again for my business. Windows look great. I'm very pleased, just waiting for some screen fixes.

I recently used window world to replace a roof on a duplex I own and the entire experience was fantastic. I worked with Joe Bay, one of Window World’s most experienced, and he took great care of us. He was very friendly, professional, and ensured our roof replacement went smoothly. I’d gladly work with them again.

Joe Bay came out to our home and helped us price out the options for a full roof replacement. Very helpful and made himself available to us for all the questions we had including help dealing with our insurance. No need to shop elsewhere!!

NEVER AGAIN!!! This company fails miserably. My initial encounter with a sales representative was good. Mr. Joe was straightforward, and wanted my business. He was very knowledgeable about the products and provided details of how this project would be handled.

After signing the contract in July, I had to follow up several times to check the status of my install. Apparently the person who does the follow ups went on maternity leave and no one else in the office covers her work.

We finally get an install date in October, the situation goes downhill from there. 1. The incorrect door knob was provided. The installer says "this is what they provided". 2. What pieces were supposed to be color matched to my house - I heard nothing but "all I have is white". 3. The trim around the doorway was left with what looks like bullet holes. I was told "we don't paint, and I can cover it with "white" (my house is almond colored). 4. There is spacing between the trim and the door; and 5. The door lock continuously jams because the sealing around the door is too wide. - Both issues I was told "there's nothing we can do about that".

I immediately contacted the office, sent pictures of all the issues, and had my concerns escalated. I was even told "the installer should not have left the job like this". Was told the door handle would be ordered and a new install date with the supervisor would be scheduled upon part arrival.

Finally got a call to schedule the appointment for Nov 1. Same installer and the supervisor shows up. I heard subsequent excuses: 1. "I don't know why the sales person told you that", 2. "There's nothing we can do about the door jamming, you have to pull tightly" - I see another issue happening with wear & tear on the door handle for pulling as tight. 3. "The door knob doesn't have all the parts so I need to order another one from the manufacturer", and 4. The painters should use putty to cover the holes. 5. There's nothing we can do about the gaps in the trim.

THERE IS NO WAY I PAY THIS MUCH FOR A DOOR AND THE JOB BE LEFT LIKE A NOVICE DID THE WORK! NEVER AGAIN WILL I GO WITH THIS COMPANY.

The Nov 1 appointment was left at " I'll try to get this fixed for you. I'll order the door knob and we'll go from there."

Third time is a charm. I'm sitting with the expectation that it's going to take another month for the door knob - and wondering what excuses I'll hear before having to escalate this issue farther.

Finally in December (days before Christmas) I get a call saying the door knob was received and they were coming to install. Finally installed both the door knob (which isn't the one I ordered - but I'm going with it) and the Pilaster replacements. The paint job that was done looks like my 10-yr old daughter did it. But the bullet holes are gone. Now my doorbell camera is not working, and additional monies for an electrician to figure out why. The storm door itself is off track - I knew this was bound to happen based on the instructions for closing the door.

Now I'm paying more money to have items fixed that should not have occurred with a so-called professional company who's been in this business for over 20+ years - UNACCEPTABLE!

BE AWARE! I WILL NOT BE MOVING FORWARD WITH THIS COMPANY ON ANY OTHER PROJECT I PREVIOUSLY DISCUSSED - AND YOU SHOULDN'T CONSIDER THEM EITHER.

Update: It's now April 2025 - The Pilaster was replaced as agreed. However, I am still having issues with the door itself. We've had at least 5 additional visits, and each time a different person comes and doesn't have the equipment or replacement parts to fix the problem. The door is off track, and there are bent and broken parts. We cannot use the main entry way to our home, and we're still awaiting replacement parts.

The install crew was on time and went right to work. Doug was in charge and answered questions and concerns while doing the installation. This was the first time they were to install Bahama shutters so the installation crew went through a learning curve with the product and its installation. The second challenge they had was our house was built in 1906 but they handled that challenge as well. Doug did a post install inspection with us and addressed the one concern we had. The only suggestion I have for the manufacturer is to offer some additional options for the length of the product. There were only 2 options, the length we ordered or full coverage of the window. I would have preferred a slightly longer shutter. The other suggestion is delivery of the product, we ordered on April 30th, was told mid July and delivery was not until the end of September.

I purchased a home 11 years ago today the plungers that hold the window are broke now a window falls out everything you open it. The tabs on top which operates these plungers have gotten brittle from the sun and out of 6 windows at half both tabs and 1 on the rest of them are broke. At one point I called window world to see about replacements clearly not an option. I cleaned them up and the only thing wrong are the plungers and tabs to open them. The sun makes the plastic brittle. The local company states when the owner of the house sells the must transfer ownership of the windows with the company. They did not have or could order replacement parts. I called corporate and they also are unable to help getting replacement parts. So think twice about purchasing window world windows. Supposedly guaranteed for life.

UPDATE: I called Chris he came out and inspected the windows and although they look like window world windows he explained they are not his windows. And they are not able to fix my windows.

Installation scheduled a week from now. One day install. Will submit photos after completion. Still, a little more communication would not hurt but if all goes well, cannot complain.

If I could give 0 stars I would. This company's performance falls far below acceptable standards. From the initial encounter with a sales representative who demonstrated a profound lack of product knowledge and competence in November 2023, to the subsequent mishaps in measurement in December of the same year, and the installation process finally culminating on April 26th, 2024, it's clear that there are systemic issues that demand immediate attention.

The process was marred by inefficiency and incompetence, epitomized by the need of the salesman to photograph windows, then send to his supervisor for a remote quote assessment. Even more concerning is the apparent ineptitude of the supervisor, who reportedly fails to inspire confidence among both customers and staff.

After enduring a lengthy wait, exacerbated by numerous follow-up calls, the replacement window finally arrived, only to reveal a litany of errors: incorrect dimensions, wrong color, and a flawed orientation that renders its operation incongruous with adjacent windows. Attempts to address these issues have been met with frustrating obstacles, with the supervisor conspicuously unavailable.

Such egregious shortcomings compel us to take decisive action. Given the dire situation, legal recourse is being considered, with the intention of holding the company accountable for its failings. Regrettably, the trust we once had in this company has been irreparably eroded. We cannot in good conscience recommend their products or services, and caution others to heed the warnings we received from disillusioned employees.

It was a great choice. I had my whole roof reshingled, It was done in 1 day a very quick process I would highly recommend them to be your first choice.

This is the second time we are using Window World. The first time Window World has replaced 9 windows in our townhome, and it had made a major impact on both our cooling and heating bills. We just moved into a double wide that is 36 years old and has some of the original windows that are completely outdated and insufficient. I try getting other quotes from other window installers and not one could come close to Window World. I also purchased a new storm door as well!

I'll start with this as an early review! I had a large order for my house, which includes: windows, siding, and gutters. Ordered (after measurements) oct 8 2023. And was told first time from sales rep 8-10 week order period. Then, after that time, the customer service said sales
Rep was wrong it 14-16 weeks. So bring to current i call to find out still no windows (siding is there and im assuming gutters). Keep getting different excuses why they aren't in yet. 1st time sale rep wrong time frame, 2nd its a big order, 3rd weather, 4th its a manufacturing problem...

All these i understand, but the problem is YOU as a customer has to call and find out what the hold up is. The lack of communication is slim to little. Im now past 16-week mark for windows and was told not on this truck. So now I'll be 17 weeks. And then, based on "weather,"

It's sad cause this time on the phone they seem to not really care!

I will not comment on install but, from what another person has had installed from this company, they did a good job.

So it seems to be an in-house issue. I'll give an update once something positive happens. So far, it's just a neutral feeling. A slight disappointment.

Bill was exceptional to work with and went the extra mile to find a solution to suit our situation. I had know idea that Window World did roofing and siding as well! Overall great customer service.

We never got a response. We were looking for windows, but no one replied. So we can't rate them on that. We did like the website, and we liked the way it was set up. The information they provided did get us to reach out to them. They seemed like a company we might of wanted to work with. If they do reply, we would probably give them a chance.

Quoted a door installation to a widowed lady who happens to be my mother inlaw that was robbery. Quoted her a simple man door installation tfor a door that cost $385 . Wanna know how bad and crooked they are?!? Quoted her $3500 to install. Run don't walk. It ended up being WAY less then half installed. Should be ashamed of themselves.

Joe Bay the sales rep, Chris, Chrissy, Lou Ann, Eric and his team and Freddie and his team were exceptional! Everyone was professional and friendly and respectful of our property and our choices. Joe was very patient and answered all of our many questions about servicing and options.Thank you to all who helped make our new siding, guttering and windows look superb.

Window world did an awesome job with my installation, they were very professional and cleaned up everything. You can't beat their prices!! I have plans on using them again.

I needed my windows replaced in my unit and I reached out to Window World for a quote and Connor was excellent to work with! He explained everything thoroughly of what Window World offers and answered every question I had. Having new windows makes a world of difference and I'm glad I reached out! I've already recommended Connor to my neighbors who need their windows replaced.

They are the worse very expensive poor quality work they installed new front door took off my 500 dollar storm door did replace with about 100 dollar storm door supposed to replace that called office lady Rachel never called me back or the guy was supposed to replace it iced texed him and all they're get overs and a door I paid over 3,000 dollars and they're not getting the other 1200 til my work is done the storm door I can see outside it's not even put on correctly they need to be shut down or sued I'm headed there they're service it's terrible they are crooks

Pass this along for anyone anywhere looking for windows or a roof etc to NOT use Window World. Worst customer service ever and they definitely rush their work and give you a hard time for repairs or replacement of damaged installed windows… only been fighting for my windows since 7/19/21

I didn't like the way it looked when they were finished, I call and they fixed it, notice from the pictures I included the wholes on both sides of the windows and under. The last picture was not addressed
