I had Chris and his team help me get power to my property, he could not have been more helpful and worked to get me in his schedule. I read other reviews about being late and not calling, well if you live here you know most places you do not have any cell service. So if you plan and living here in this area you need to be patient and give the service providers the respect and understanding of working out here is not easy to say the least. I am hiring Chris to do all my HVAC and electrical at the home we are building, couldn't recommend him more!

Great experience with Chris and his crew. We thought maybe we would have to do the work ourselves since all the electricians in this area are so busy. I called and left a message and chris called me back the next day. He understood the situation with the material shortages and the wait list at klickitat PUD. He was very timely and went above our expectations to get our meter base installed. I know all electricians in this area are very busy right now Billing was on time and accurate to the quote he gave us. He even came back out during a snowstorm to check and see why our plug wasnt working. It was just user error. Highly recommend Wilde Contracting.

Wilde Contracting installed a heat pump in our shop and also installed the entire HVAC system in our new home. The owner, Chris, is personable and helpful and was able to overcome some challenges in installing our ducting. He is also very busy, so it can take a while for him to respond to inquiries.

This business has a serious communication issue. While it is difficult to find a contractor in a timely manner at the moment some sort of communication is desirable. In June I contacted Wilde Contracting and the soonest they could come for an estimate was September 10. Understandable. Since then we have had a few questions that we wanted answered. Not a single reply and it is now November 3. The job was a smaller job that would have been a lower income for the contractor I’m certain, but sometimes it is about building relationships. We are looking do some developing in the near future that would have been an even larger and more worth while for this contractor. They will be missing out on those opportunities. Not to mention, the day that the contractor actually came to inspect the potential work to give us an estimate, they were almost an hour late without properly communicating. Once again I understand that things arise and sometimes we run late. They simply didn’t care to communicate prior to being late and did not show any inclination that it mattered. It wasn’t until they were already half an hour late that they had mentioned that they were running late.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
