What people say about “White Rock Truss & Components”?

Customer feedback is largely critical, highlighting significant issues with product quality and delivery service. Many reviewers expressed frustration over receiving incorrect items and poor-quality lumber, with severe complaints about defects in the trusses. Although some customers noted quick response times for quotes and emails, these positives are overshadowed by the concerns regarding multiple delivery attempts and product reliability. Consequently, the overall impression suggests that improvements are needed in both the quality of materials and the efficiency of the delivery process.

The only good part of the whole experience was the response time on the quote and quick responding to emails. Ever since changing ownership and management it’s gone so far downhill. It took three tries to get floor trusses the right length even with blueprints, and even the third try they had five that were a few inches short but I just made them work to keep from dealing with them. They had to make three trips to deliver because they forgot a couple the first time, missed a few on the quote the second and brought an extra the third time. Business won’t last long wasting time and money like they did with mine. Lots of inconsistency in the measurements also. Front desk was great to deal with, but simple math and measurements was a struggle to say the least

Quick and fast to unload, just very tight to get into with 53 flatbed and when wet can be kinda treacherous

Very poor quality and I mean very poor quality lumber used to make our trusses for our cabin.. Not worth what we paid for them. They did fix the one that was riddled with bug holes. Many of the trusses have rotted out knots. Some have busted or cracked places and a lot of them have black stuff on them which I hope isint black mold. If you are after a quality product don't buy here.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
