Very professional and straight forward, the price was below what I expected. was informed it would be 3 -4 weeks out, they came out in the 2nd week and had it completed in under 5 hours. They cleaned up and after they left, I checked for stray nails or debris and found nothing. This is our 4th home over the years and only wish the other roofers we used would have been able to have provided the service we received from VBR

It has been a delightful experience working with VBR from the day I called for an estimate to the day the work was completed! Wind had blown a large patch of shingles from my aging roof, and Rob Rigatti came to my house the very next day after my call. He immediately patched the roof to prevent further damage, gave me assistance with making a claim on my homeowners insurance, and came back with the most reasonable estimate of all the companies I had called. Within just a few days of my claim being approved, materials were delivered, and the team came to install the roof the next work day. Amazingly, the new roof was completed in just one day and it looks fantastic! I feel confident that I won't be having wind issues with my roof ever again. Besides the excellent warranties for both materials and workmanship, VBR went above and beyond by screwing all of the fascias in place, both old and new, by hauling away the branches from a damaged tree, and leaving the yard spotless of any debris. This was my first experience with having a new roof installed. I knew one of my work colleagues had recently had his replaced so I asked for his thoughts on the roofing company he used. He had nothing but positive remarks about VBR Roofing so I gave them a call. Working with Mr. Jim Lane made the entire process simple. He was quick to send a crew to evaluate our current roof. He communicated often and was very responsive. He offered suggestions on different types of roofing material and the installation was completed very quickly. Today we had our new roof installed by VBR Roofing. We did quite a bit of research before choosing this company to do the install. We had several estimates and each company had different options available but VBR was able to give us everything that we needed including gutter guards which will be very beneficial when we have those high winds blowing leaves into our gutters. The roofing team was very proficient and focused on getting the job done right. The roof looks great and they cleaned up the entire area before leaving. Roofs are one of those purchases you only make a couple of times in your life. It is important to find a reputable company to do this at a fair price. This is the first roof we have had to replace. Based on recommendations from others that I work with, we chose VBR after getting quotes from others. Their professionalism was obvious from the start. VBR did an absolutely excellent job. They removed, installed, and cleaned up in one day. No nails or leftover material remained. There were no surprises with their price. I was impressed that the owner also came on the day of the work, very happy with our new roof and highly recommend to others!

I am very pleased with my experience with VBR Roofing. Mr Lane was great to deal with. He was easy to reach and If I had a question regarding roofing options, he was quick to respond back with a clear answer. The roofing proposal that he presented was detailed and very easy to understand. The old roof was removed and the new installed in one day (on my small house). When I arrived home from work, other than the new roof, there was no evidence that any work had been performed at the house. They were very careful to remove all debris, I have not found any nails or debris around the house.

We called Rob after a large storm on a Friday night, and he was at our property on Monday. Awesome turn around time. We had a leak around our chimney and Rob was able to pin point the issue and fix it promptly. True professionalism is the only way to describe this man and his company. I was referred to VBR by a friend, and I could not possibly be more satisfied! I gave Jim a call, and he came out the very next day to take a look at my roof. He was able to point out several issues that immediately concerned him, and just when my heart sank thinking I was going to have to have the entire roof redone, he assured me that his team could have this fixed, and it would cost a fraction of what I was expecting. They would even do their best to match the color of the existing tiles!

True to his word, he had a team come out, do a close inspection, and gave me a very reasonable estimate. While they were on-site/in the middle of the job, a few extra concerns were brought up, and that increased the estimate....Jim called me, explained the extra costs, why they were needed, and we agreed to move forward....

When the job was done, I was shocked to hear that the only about 1/3rd portion of the extra cost was applied. Confused, I spoke to Jim about it, and he explained that his guys actually didn't have to spend as much time as expected/quoted for the repair, and he never charges for work that isn't done!

WOW If that alone doesn't convince you to hire this company, I don't know what will!

I can say with complete confidence that VBR has my business, and anyone that will allow me to recommend them moving forward!

Friendly and professional service. Excellent quality roofing materials and labor. Removed old roof and replaced in one day. Excellent clean up. Great pricing. Jim Lane with VBR roofing replaced my roof a year ago and it is fabulous. We have had 50 to 60 mph winds and no shingles have come off. I needed my gutters cleaned. Jim came out and had my gutters cleaned and nailed nails back in gutter. Excellent service, as always. Everything was cleaned up. Would recommend VBR roofing for all your roofing needs.

I've worked with many contractors over the years. VBR roofing was probably the best contractor I've ever worked with in any home repair field. They are outstanding. The roof replacement was done as promised, on schedule with updates throughout the project. I couldn't be happier with the work or the customer service.

Jim and team did a fantastic job in just one day from complete tear down to replacement! There are a lot of companies out there that can do the roofing and do it well but all of the fine little details including personalized service and cleanup to ensure your property is left in great shape with a great roof is a special gift.

Did a full roof replacement. Jim and team were professional, responsive, and extremely helpful through the entire process. Not only did they repair the roof, but they fixed my shutters for free and meticulously walked around the property to ensure that I all the trash and nails were picked up. We had a metal roof installed back in September 2023. After getting quotes from two other roofing companies we went with VBR and we are so happy that we did! They were absolutely fantastic! Their crew was amazing! They all worked very hard to get the job done quickly without skimping on quality! Can’t thank them enough!

We cannot say enough about how great Jim Lane and his crew are! We had an insurance claim placed due to wind damage to our roof that caused leaking inside the house. Jim came and inspected the roof with the insurance claim adjuster. It was decided that we needed to replace the whole roof. He thoroughly explained the replacement process, gave a detailed estimate, helped us choose a roof color that would look great and put a tarp on the roof to stop any more leaking. He even returned on Sunday in the heavy rain to add boards to the roof due to the weather calling for high winds.
Jim kept us informed of when the shingles and supplies were ordered, their delivery date, and then gave us our instillation date and time. On instillation day, the crew arrived promptly and started working almost immediately. They were very professional, hardworking and courteous. Tarps were placed around the whole perimeter of the house to catch all of the removal. The old roof was removed, repairs were made, and the new roof was replaced. When everything was completed, the tarps were removed, and everything was put back as it was.
They started working at 7:30 am and were completely finished before 4pm. You would have never known they had been here except for seeing our beautiful new roof. Jim and his crew made this a seamless process. He is very personable and treats your needs like they are his own. We already have and will continue to recommend VBR Roofing to others!

I had an issue with a section of our roof over a weekend and messaged several roofing companies in the area. Jim got back to me almost immediately and came out to take a look within a few hours. The next day the work was done to solve the issue and at a cost considerably less than I was anticipating given previous roofing jobs from other companies. Knowledgeable, patient in his listening, and organized to get it done efficiently will have me coming back to them for more work when roofing needs arise. I could not recommend any more highly.

Jim, Rob and their crew did an awesome job replacing our roof! They first came to meet my wife and I, then walked me through the day of roof replacement process. Days before the replacement, the material was delivered and I was pleased to see top of the line GAF shingles and material, the whole roofing system ready to roll that week. The day of they arrived early and began removing the old roof. Was an all day replacement but they worked accurately and professionally, laying down tarps, moving personal items I had forgotten to move away from the base of my home.

On April 1st heavy wind knocked several of my shingles off. I reached out on Tuesday, by Thursday Jim looked at my roof and determined I needed it replaced. He came out and met with my insurance adjuster to make sure I was covered and helped me tremendously through the whole process. It's April 21st and my new roof is done. I never imagined it would all happen so quickly and efficiently. I never even had time to stress over it! Can't recommend them enough!

When we decided to replace our roof we really didn't have any recommendations to go with. Using google reviews we picked five contractors to get an estimate. VBR came in right in the middle of the estimates and Jim seemed to be more realistic and experienced. I come from the commercial contracting world and know that contractors throw warranties around like a solve all, but the reality is that getting work done under warranty is a pain, and it's better to just have the job done right the first time with a contractor that knows the limitations of their product and the importance of a proper installation. Jim was all those things. He covered a several added items that we needed at no charge (trim work, and caulking) scheduled the work and showed up the day he was supposed to. They said they would finish the job in one day and did. Jim came back out and did a once over on the yard to make sure all the debris from the old roof was removed and there were no stray nails in the yard. I have found one nail in the two months since they completed the job, so he did a thorough job.

The roof looks great. We used Corning Duration shingles. As of this date I have no complaints whatsoever with the aesthetics or the installation.
