I highly recommend Vanguard Construction. He came out on the weekend, fixed the issues, explained everything he was going to do and the price was more than fair. Super professional and knowledgeable. I have a lot more that I’ve been wanting to get done around my house and I will use him for all of it!!

Contacted company about a project, at first the owner or Dustin was quick to respond and very professional. He came by to estimate the project immediately and I was told he would call me back in a day or two. Two days later he called back and said he was still working on the estimate and would call me back. I waited a week and tried to call and text and he wouldn’t answer either one. I can understand if he didn’t want to do the project, but be professional enough to communicate this.

Contacted them to come give an estimate for a new roof and a whole home rewire. Person who answered stated they were the owner. Said he could come give estimate for the roof that day and would schedule a time with his electrician to look at the rewire. Asked me to text him the address, and said he would be there around 4, but would text when he was on his way. This was July 1st at 1:30pm. It is now July 11th and crickets. Will not answer the phone, return a text or anything. Slightly unprofessional in my opinion. All it takes is communication to clarify any issues that may arise

I contacted Vanguard Construction to receive an estimate for a roof repair. The response was immediate. The roof was photographed to me to show the disrepair. Within two hours I received the written estimate.
There was a leak in one area and they placed a tarp over it because they could not return until the following day. There was rain that evening, but no leak.
The repair was completed so very quickly with with professionalism. Once again there were photos sent to me, showing the finished repair. The courtesy and caring for my needs was substantial and very appreciated.
I would highly recommend their service.

Did a pretty good job on the roof but there is a couple of places he was suppose to come back and fix on the gutter work he did and it's been months still hasn't fixed it. Doesn't show up when he say's he is going to and won't answer calls or text. He does good work if you can get him to show up and get it done.

Dustin was working on a neighbor’s house and I asked him to button up some things on my metal roof and just to let me know how it was fairing. He took care of it quickly with a fair price and communicated what he found. Definitely would use him again!

They put a new roof in for me, and they did everything they promised. Whenever I have a question about my home they give me the best advice.

4. What is the typical roof leak repair cost, and how is it calculated?

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
