Turnkey did a good job on clean up, but i was superpleased by the repair work done by contractor Justin Blackwell. He did a great job with sheetrock repair, trim work and paint. I have even asked him for quotes on other jobs in my home. Justin is pleasant and dependable. He does a superior job communicating project times and sticking to them. When he needs to alter the plan he communicates in advance. That in itself is a rare find and what makes him a gem!

We had a water line come loose under the vanity in the guest bathroom which flooded 3 rooms! Turnkey came out right away and tore out the damage and placed large fans and dehumidifiers to dry things out. Then they came out and redid everything. They were very professional and all the workers did a beautiful job, and were very respectful of our home, and didn’t make a mess anywhere. One of the owners, Nan, even went above and beyond to bring my insurance adjuster out to our home to help her understand why certain things needed to be done to restore what was damaged! Nan and Troy were wonderful to work with, and I recommend them highly

We left something on the cooktop and went for a long walk. Bad idea! When we returned our home was filled with smoke and smelled like burned something. Called Jenna at Turnkey. Turnkey Restoration handled a fairly extensive mitigation and rebuild due to a water break. They were on the scene promptly and handled all phases of the repairs and rebuilding project. Giving one star because Zero is not an option. The entire process was terrible. Nationwide sent them to do the water and mold mitigation then allowed them to quote for the restoration. They would show up one day and say "someone will call you to tell you the next steps" and no one ever called. Then they would call right before they showed up. They provided Nationwide with a quote and said they can't fix my cabinets. How then did they quote it? I feel this is a poorly ran operation that needs a major overhaul of management. Meanwhile I still don't have a functioning kitchen. The mitigation removed 6-10 inches off the bottom of all my cabinets. I am so disappointed in this whole process. Nationwide is referring this to the contractor management

I have a construction and flood damage background and after a flood the insurance company supplied this company as a “preferred vendor”.

They pulled a “no show” on the day they set the appt and I waited about 4 hours, called and they couldn’t come.

The owner went out and looked but had been exposed to CoVid so I could not be there. She said they did not offer a scope of work or a price and would be dealing directly with the insurance company.

Since it’s MY home and I paid for it, nobody will be hiring anyone but me and that’s not the insurance company’s call.

The claims manager met with this company, another vendor and me out there and said they would be writing a check which is not what this company said would happen.

It’s obvious they get work from the insurance company and if they improved in some areas like timeliness, being open, explaining what the option for the insured are I’m sure they would be better received.

Editing to reflect that phantom billing shows up in December without any transparency and is communicated over text messaging.
