The remodel outcome looks nice but the quality of work behind the wall is severely lacking. The rework ended up costing us S1000s more money for someone to come behind them and fix their mistakes. On the bathroom remodel, the plumber didn't seal the piping properly so for weeks water was dripping down the wall until seems under our hardwoods and flooded our downstairs. Tubro came back to fix the pipe but left us with $1000s of repair to the downstairs. In less than 5 years, our kitchen cabinets fell off the wall. What professional uses only 1 1/4 in screws and screws into the drywall?? Also, the sink now moves around because it wasn't properly sealed under the countertop. Since their ineptitude was discovered outside their warranty, they want more money to fix their poor quality. GTFOH!!! We will NEVER use their services again.

We recently hired Tubro Construction for our bathroom remodel, and while the final outcome was satisfactory, there were several areas where improvement is needed.
Firstly, the quality of the work was commendable, and I appreciate the craftsmanship that went into finishing the project. However, it did take longer than anticipated, and this delay personally wasn’t a significant issue for us. What was concerning was the communication gap. Workers and subcontractors arrived without clear instructions and frequently sought guidance from us on what needed to be done, indicating a disconnect between the project manager and the team. Thankfully, we were home to assist, but it was unsettling to think about how things might have unfolded otherwise.
Another drawback was the cleanliness and respect for our space during the project. Tools and materials were often left out in common areas, which required us to move them around just to access parts of our home. Even after the "final walkthrough," we had to clean up leftover paint splatters, mud, and stains on the floors, which was disappointing. We informed them about a month after the project started that we would be moving into the house, but we expected at least some consideration regarding cleanliness in the common areas, despite it being a construction zone. While we understand the nature of the work, we felt that a little extra effort to maintain a tidy environment would have gone a long way, particularly since many clients will be living in their homes during such projects.
We also faced issues with change orders. The initial contract outlined the need for prior approval and documentation for change orders before beginning any new work. However, there were instances where we were billed for additional work without any prior consultation. While I understand that unexpected issues can arise, the lack of communication beforehand was frustrating. Often, I was met with the response that the office had just informed the worker about the charge, which felt inadequate.
Overall, while I am pleased with the finished work and the design elements they executed, I would advise anyone considering Tubro Construction to be prepared for a hands-on approach and ensure that you keep a close eye on the progress, especially for more design-oriented projects. For simpler jobs, their expertise may shine without these complications. Lastly, I recommend thoroughly reviewing the entire contract to avoid any misunderstandings, as they will hold you to its stipulations even when the service falls short.
In conclusion, Tubro Construction has the knowledge and skills necessary to do excellent work, but improvements in communication and site management would greatly enhance the overall experience for their clients.

My husband and I are so incredibly thankful to Tubro Construction for our beautiful remodel! The work that Chris Sparks Jr and the team did was absolutely incredible! They turned our grandmas, 1970 house into our dream home. Working with them from beginning to end was seamless! Our contractor, Chris Jr was communicative and responsive. He went above and beyond for us in every area. Everyone worked hard and showed up every day! We started in August and are so thankful we are in by the holidays! Their efficiency was great! We worked previously with a subpar contractor that ruined our tub to shower conversion a few years back. They completed a to the studs remodel for us on our 100 year old home that is absolutely beautiful as well as a window project that looks even better than we imagined. Last year, we hired Tubro to do a full kitchen remodel as well as 2 bathrooms. We removed a couple of walls to open up the kitchen to have an open floor plan and gutted both bathrooms to have a more updated, modern look. Prior to looking for bids, we heard lots of negative stories from friends and family about remodeling and dealing with different contractors either not showing up, no communication, etc
The thing that we really appreciated about Tubro Construction was not only their transparency with everything but more importantly, when they said they were going to be there, they showed up. When there were changes and could not make it over for whatever reason, we always got a heads up and kept in the loop. Chris Sparks oversaw our project and I loved working with him- he is very knowledgeable and kept communication running smoothly between us and all the subcontractors. Since then, we hired Tubro again this year to paint our home. Both times, the quality of work was exceptional and we had a great experience working with Rich and his team, from everyone in the office and all the guys that came over and worked on our home. Everyone was professional, respectful of our home/space and honestly just nice people. We highly recommend them and would not hesitate to work with Tubro again on future projects.

The Tubro team did a great job with our kitchen remodel and updates. The communicated very well and were always on time, neat clean and very polite. They responded quickly to issues and always let us know how best to address issues. We would highly recommend the Tubro team and will consider them for future work.

We had a full 1st floor remodel. The house is old and needed much more than a face lift. They were able to make everything we wanted happen; 2 bathrooms, 3 bedrooms, and complete wall teardown to make the living room and kitchen a whole beautiful open area. The tile work in the bathrooms, backsplashes and fireplace were immaculate. Special thanks to their crew who always kept the construction zone neat and cleaned up everything so well. We appreciated Jon always checking on the progress. Chris was a great Superintendent who's communication and personal touch made the process very streamlined and pleasant, any hiccups (few to little,) were handled professionally. We were very happy to deal with Rich, he helped us with getting our electric setup outside for our gates (not in the original plan.) The whole atmosphere of the house went from dim and claustrophobic to open and bright! True quality professionals. We had them come back and give us a very nice awning on our deck that we're very happy with as well! We couldn't have imagined we'd get our dream home done this well!

The remodel of two bathrooms, done in series, was overall a very satisfactory experience, and I am pleased with the results. Tubro is fair and takes pride in providing quality work and doing what they say they will do. They communicated well and always showed up when they were scheduled. They also were transparent about any issues that required alterations in the plans or schedule along the way. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a remodeling contractor.

Tubro Construction remodeled our bathrooms several years ago so. When we decided to finish the remodel of our 40 year old house we looked to them first but got other estimates as well. Again. Tubro was not the cheapest estimate but we selected them because we were confident they would do a good job. Part of that is the wide range of experts/sub contractors they use. Instead of one or two people doing all the tasks they had specialists to: remove popcorn ceilings, install flooring, painting, cabinets, electrical, plumbing etc. We actually had them do this remodel while we were away for a few months. It included moving one wall and removing another. They kept us up to date with how the job was going, provided photos and reached out when questions or issues came up. They made several suggestions during the process that we adopted. A couple months after completion there were a couple small items we wanted changed and they quickly and expertly handled those. (btw – we have done this a few times and, for us, we plan on spending around 10-20% more than the original estimate primarily due to additional items we add during the process and higher quality of materials that we choose)

I am slow to do reviews. It has now been a couple of years since the job was completed but the quality of their workmanship has held up (no surprises or shortcuts found). I highly recommend Tubro Construction. Before and after pics of the kitchen portion of remodel are included.

I've had a lot of work done on houses over the years and Tubro is easily the most professional contractor I've worked with. Did everything go perfect? Of course not, it's a remodel. I have used Tubro Construction on several of my home projects. They have a very experienced team of employees that have addressed everything from plumbing, electrical, deck install, storm doors, ceiling fans, drywall, painting, cabinet staining and carpet cleaning. Most work was scheduled and completed within a few weeks. Pricing of work done was very reasonable. Several of my neighbors have now used Tubro Construction on their home and cleaning projects with great results.

Horrible service. The Estimate and final invoice not even close. All the walls are crooked, not plumb. Tried billing me for Items that I did myself. Installed front and back doors so they only open 3/4 of the way.
The subcontractors they use are horrible and sheet rocked the wrong wall of my building. Tape and Texture was worst job I have ever seen.
The door was installed crooked and when the Superintendent came to fix it, he said it was the wall (which his son had installed several weeks earlier). Regardless, he said it couldn't be fixed and told me to just try to caulk the gaps.

I was beyond impressed with the quality of work performed by Tubro on my home. It is an older home and needed significant repairs and painting prep. It was all done beautifully. Rich, the owner, is great to work with. His office staff is prompt and professional. Chava, Rigo and Mike were the three that did the work on my home. They were such hard workers. They have tremendous knowledge and experience and it shows in their end product. Stunning. I am in love with my house. The after pic, the yard is a mess, but that is my fault not theirs. I highly recommend this company.

Tubro cleaned our carpets, which hadn’t been cleaned in a long time. They looked fantastic afterward! We have two big dogs and a cat who go in and out. Our carpets looked brand-new after Tubro was done. Their communication and scheduling was great. The person who cleaned our floors was professional and personable. I can’t recommend Tubro enough! They were all-around great!

We remodeled our bathroom and put a walk in shower and we love it. It came out exactly how we wanted it. It took a little longer than expected but due to supply issues it was expected. The workers were all really nice and courteous and careful not to get anything dirty like the furniture and floors.

Tubro completed a full bathroom remodel, living room remodel and flooring throughout our house. They were always on time, friendly, communicative, and clear about any additional charges (which there were very few that deviated from the quote). Each day they cleaned up and made it easier for us to live with remodeling going on around us. Our home is older and has many quirks, this did not sway them, they solved issues (like uneven flooring all over) and made sure we were happy along the way. We had some supply chain issues on the bathroom materials but they always came and did any possible work they could do to keep things moving, this wasn't their fault but they communicated along the way and after that project we decided to hire them again for the living room and flooring. I will use them again in a heartbeat!

Turbo construction was amazing to work with. They replaced our old wood deck with new treck decking and reconfigured our stairs and did a fantastic job. They were here on time and finished within the time frame given. Communication was great and always asked us what we wanted before doing the work. My Family and I have been working with Tubro for more than 12 years now. The owner has assembled an amazing team by treating them with kindness and respect. We recently had them do some exterior deck work and exterior tongue and groove. Brent and his crew were outstanding as usual. We have used them for carpet cleaning, interior work (including wall removal) among other jobs and the experience is always relaxed and not pushy starting with Jon the bidder and ending with Rebecca the office Lady. The Tubro guys did multiple projects in my kitchen. They installed new upper cabinets, fixed the under cabinet lighting, and painted the lower cabinets. Other than one scheduling hiccup, it went really well. Nice job all around.

I am in the beginning stages of having both my bathrooms remodeled. No work has yet been done but, thus far, Tubro has been very professional and communicative. They have provided all estimates within the time stated and have been responsive to any questions usually within the day, or at a minimum within 24 hours. Every person I have worked with has been knowledgeable and professional. If this is indicative of what their work will be, I am glad to have chosen Tubro. I did get three bids and they were just a little bit lower than one of the others. That said, I chose them not because of price but because they actually seemed to care and as a single woman, I didn’t feel like I was being sold. Stay tuned as the work commences.

Tubro Construction is just getting started with my converting a bedroom into a kitchenette. Working with plumbing right now. Had my carpets cleaned and we have used Tubro for years. Tubro is very professional and always on time, great price.

Tubro construction was great! I was able to set an appointment online and they showed up right on time. Jon was very friendly and knowledgeable, he was even willing to share some helpful tips to make the painting afterwards last a long time. The thing I appreciate the most is the honesty. He gave his honest assessment of the whole in the house, and didn't try and scare us into doing more than needed. The price better than the other 2 contractors that came out as well. In all I was very happy with Tubro construction, and Jon is a class act.

I wanted to use Turbo to clean my carpets. For reasons unrelated to the excellent service that was offered to us by Turbo we did not schedule cleaning.

We needed to have the siding on the front and back of our shed replaced. Turbo also removed four fence posts and reset them to straighten it. The guys were punctual, courteous, and did a great job! I had a last minute change request and they had no problem with it. The shed looks new again!

I have used this company for the past couple of years and I’m very pleased with them. I have also recommended them to several friends and they are happy with them as well. Fair price for the service that is given.
