No issues or complains on his end. Honest professionals and reliable. Flexible with times on working around my schedule. Appreciate and recommend this company 100%.

Highly recommend tin smith mechanical he was quick very friendly. He didn’t give me the run around. Found a solution to the problem and very reasonable.

Just had work done today with tin smith on plumbing and air conditioner, Zach was super helpful and knowledgeable. He works really fast, did a big plumbing job in just a few hours and then helped me get my A/C back up and running right. He seems like a genuine and honest tradesman which can be hard to find. I’ll definitely be calling him out the next time I need something done, would recommend him to anyone looking for plumbing or A/C help.

Like the 30 customer reviews prior to me have stated, Zach at Tin Smith Mechanical, LLC, is unprofessional, rude, and delivers nothing!
My experience: American Home Shield assigned this 1 star “plumber” to my work order. Zach at Tin Smith called me promptly to schedule a visit and that is where all customer service ends. Zach stated he can be at my house in 1 hour and I stated I needed 2 hours to return home, then Zach said he’ll call me back in a hour to see if our availability aligned. Zach NEVER called me back that day. I called him back several times and he never answered my calls. The next day, Zach called me and said he could come out, I inquired why he left me hanging and didn’t call me back as he said he would. At this point, Zach said the most childish thing, he said that he emailed American Home Shield as to why he didn’t show up-but he didn’t even call me/informed me. I asked why he didn’t call me back as he said he would, and as a child, he avoided accountability and was rude. Zach said I could use his service or not, and hung up the phone.
American Home Shield escalation department called me and took my complaint as they are building a case to drop Tin Smith Mechanical. Also, American Home shield reassigned my case to a 4 star company, PLUMBRUS. Do not use this company and simply ask American Home Shield to drop them and reassign your work order to plumbrus!

American Hone Shield slotted this company to repair something in my house. Never showed. They even call an hour past the set appointment and said they would be to my house in 20 minutes. I waiting over an hour then called and texted. No response. Call AHS and they said the vendor declined my job because they don't service my area. Not only are they located in the same city, but they have done a repair at my home before.

Out to fix an issue using my AHS insurance, they found one issue, fixed the one issue which didn’t resolve the issue. After requesting them to come back through the AHS they were a no call no show, while sending estimates to AHS without ever coming out . When I got ahold of Zach he said the technician got busy, I told them a phone call would have been appreciated his response was “we’ll get to you when we get to you”. Then after me telling him that’s a rough way to do business and just responding with “yeah thanks for the tip”! Terrible service and absolutely rude customer care.

This kid is a joke, took $5,000 and gave me the run around on equipment Eta, he would set up a time to repair my unit and would not show up, always gave excuses about why he never called to reschedule, he also tried to raise my non covered charges through American Home Shield and they denied his request. I’ve been dealing with him and AHS for 3 months and have yet to have my AC repaired, finally today his return check cleared my bank account after 3 months of dealing with him. Do not use this kid for anything!

I too was assigned this company by AHS and didn’t receive any response for 5 days. They only responded at the 6th day because I called AHS to cancel my service request and a get my service charge back. I was able to get my AC fixed by calling another local company. Definitely avoid this company at all times and monitor your AHS account online because they’ll put that they contacted you but they never do.

On June 15th we were assigned Tin Smith Mechanical, LLC by American Home shield It seems to be a trend here! I've contacted AHS soo many times to try and get my vendor changed, I was escalated to vendor relationships because this joker won't even call or email AHS back but finally after 2 months he told them he was waiting for parts, no parts needed here just need to repair a leak in the system. If he doesn't have any freon then wth is he really doing in this business! They showed up June 17th and said they would contact the warranty company and schedule to come back. Never happened! The warranty company AHS continues calling me to see if the work has been completed because they were calling and emailing them but with no response. I've called both numbers for these guys that like to ghost you, dozens of times with no answer or call backs! (My Mother is 81 and it's been 100° outside and AHS just keeps telling me "I understand sir" I don't believe they do!) I wouldn't believe TSM really existed if they hadn't been here once in an unmarked van. Not sure how they stay in business this way but I wouldn't ever do business with them! American Home Scam however seems to be keeping this vendor in business!!! Still waiting for the idcts to show

We were also assigned this company by our home warranty company (American home shield). It's been weeks since we had made the claim with our home warranty and they have never come out. We have tried contacting them multiple times only to have them either answer and say they will call us back to get us scheduled oand never recieve a call back or just for them to never answer their phone at all. They have two different numbers one on Google and another on their Facebook page . Neither of them are ever answered. Avoid at all costs!

Another American Home Shield (AHS) customer who got this company assigned, reached them by phone to schedule an appointment, and then they unsurprisingly no called/no showed. Supposed to arrive at 10am, I called at 10:15, 10:45, and 11:15, but they never answered. AHS also called them when I called in after the 11:15 call, and they did not answer again. It has now been a full day since that scheduled appointment, and they have not called. I let AHS know about this whole situation and the numerous other reviews saying the same thing in hopes they remove these guys from their contractor list, but we'll see.

AHS sent these people to repair my A/C system. First they added freon into my system. they said they added 6lb and wanted to charge me for it. ? how did they know how much without weighing the freon without using a scale. then they tried to over charge me by 50$. well they over charged the system and made it groin everytime the compressor turned on. they told AHS and me the compressor is bad. they came back and replaced the compressor. didn't leave it level and now its not working again 2 months later. don't let them in your house

My home warranty company contracted Tin Smith Mechanical to come to my house for a plumbing claim. I paid $180 for the technician to look at three issues in my home back in October 2021. They submitted info to the Warranty company and NEVER CAME BACK to complete any work. I have tried to leave messages at the office number and no reply. I have left text messages with the tech who said he would look up my claim and get back to me and NEVER HAS. It is now December 2021 and still NO contact.

Terrible customer service. Always had an attitude when talking to over the phone. Constantly texted my husband to make an appointment, would agree to it, and then never showed up. Not even a call or text with a reason why. We waisted to much of our time trying to make sure one of us was home for the appointment. If you are in need of something ASAP these are not the people to call.

My home warranty assigned this joke of a business to fix my AC. They were supposed to show up at 4 on a Tuesday no show no call I reached out to them and was sent to voicemail. I got a call back the next day with the excuse “they were busy” ok they could come out that day at 4… and once again no show no call no answer. I got a call the next day “yeah we were behind on our calls sorry we can get to you today at 4.” Ok no problem luckily today they called back three hours later “yeah man this jobs gonna take longer than expected we can come out tomorrow if you want” I was fed up at that point and went ahead and called my home warranty company to have them assign a more attentive company that you know answers the phone.

Tim was incredibly helpful last Fall when my heat went out. I was connected with him via my home warranty company. The only good thing my home warranty company did during the time I was dealing with them was connect me with Tin Smith Mechanical. Tim went out of his way to fix my heater. He was on the second story of my roof during a gusty snow storm more than once, dealt with my worthless home warranty company constantly trying to get the necessary parts approved and to check in with them, and always kept me in the loop. I recommend this company and will work with them in the future if the need arises.
