We recently had our roof replaced by Timber Roofing; referred to us by a friend. Michael Baumgarden, owner, was great to work with. The job took two days, stripping off the old roof, replaced the flashing on the chimney, put in new vents, replaced plywood sheets that had mold and replaced the roof on our shed. Our old roof was 31 years old with a 25-year warranty. No leaks but it was time to replace. Michael’s crew worked nonstop, with only a break for lunch. They did a great job covering all plants, protecting the house from any debris, and thoroughly cleaning up when the job was done. We are totally satisfied with the work and the price. We are the original owners and have lived here for 42 years. It’s amazing how much the new roof has updated our house.

We contracted with Timber Roofing to replace our nearly 30-year-old roof that had a second layer on it. They met or exceeded all of our expectations. The work was done on time and on budget and we really couldn't be happier with the overall experience.

We've been remodeling our house for the last 18 months and we've worked with a number of contractors. Getting many of them to respond to questions was like pulling teeth. Estimates were often days or weeks after the contractor said they would be sent. Working with Timber Roofing was the exact opposite. Michael, the owner, was very responsive. We never once had to ask for updates. The level of professionalism was amazing.

From the first contact with Mike, I filled out the request a quote from on their site and was still browsing it when he reached out, to the final completion of the job, I could not be more happy with the work that was done and how the new roof looks.

Mike is very professional and I felt like he really took care of us all the way through the entire process. He came out in November and assessed the situation and recommended we wait until spring. The only thing was a boot for a roof vent would not be good for the upcoming winter. He came out himself a few days later and replaced it.

The crew he had working on our house was professional, courteous, polite and friendly. Always a smile and quick to say hi on our comings and goings. They were thorough with their daily cleanup, which I really appreciated as we have 2 dogs that have free range over the backyard.

When all was said and done, they held very close to their estimate. Half the roof had an extra layer of shingles than thought and one board needed to be replaced. They shored up all the fascia boards and the rain gutters to better than when they started and they cleaned the place like it was their own yard.

I can't recommend this company enough and I would have them come again if anything else was ever needed.

A friend of mine referred me to Timber Roofing when we purchased our home, which we knew had an older roof. We got in contact with Michael and he gave us a free estimate to replace the roof and also an estimate to repair it.

We recently had some other expensive home repairs come up so we were really hoping we could get some more years out of the roof with some repairs. Michael was super understanding and honest about what needed to be repaired ASAP, what could wait, and told us we could definitely get a few more years out of our roof with some necessary repairs. We really appreciated that he did not try to sell us on a whole new roof but instead discussed options with us and worked with us on how we could get more life out of our current roof.

Michael’s prices were reasonable and he had a crew out to repair our roof within a few weeks. Michael and his crew were on time, quick, and did a great job. Michael also sent us before, during, and after photos to verify the work that was done. We would recommend Timber Roofing to anyone in need of roof repair or replacement. When the time comes to replace our roof, we will definitely use Timber.

We had damage to our roof due to weather and filed an insurance claim. Michael gave us a quote of what the work would cost, let us know what the work would entail in detail, told us the costs would be covered by our insurance (minus our deductible) regardless of whether or not everything he put in the claim was covered or not, and that's exactly what happened.

I know at least one of the things that he put into our insurance claim didn't get covered by our insurance and he stuck by his word. Michael was always available when I needed to talk to him and he did great work on our roof. I would and do heartily recommend him and his business.

These guys are incredible. They are the ones to hire for roof replacement. Mike was amazing to work with….extremely professional, respectful of my property and easy to work with. My old roof was VERY hard to remove and the entire crew worked non-stop for 11 hours to remove it! In addition, my garage roof was caving in due to the old roof’s weight, and they went out of their way to do what they could to fix that issue. This was above and beyond! Highly recommend!

I have been given the task of taking care of the estate of my recently deceased Mother N Law. Her house in Nine Mile Falls, needed some work, to bring it back into a good condition and ready for sale.
My top notch realtor, Michelle Matiska, gave me the Timber Roofing contact information. I needed an estimate of a possible roof replacement, Michael gave me an estimate that night based on satellite imagery. Just days later, he had done an on site evaluation, updated the replacement estimate which was almost the same as his original. Michael also upon my request, provided me an estimate to de-moss the roof, seal up the exposed nails and fix a few shingles that could have been better installed in the past around the solar tube. This option was the one I chose, saving me money and will help ensure I get the shingles to make it closer to their expected 30 year life expectancy. He was also able to help fix a post on my back porch that was showing some rot near the bottom.

On top of being incredibly good at what they do, they were extremely efficient, quick, really clean and most importantly honest. I was referred to Timber Roofing and couldn’t be more pleased. I scheduled three companies to come to our home for a quote and their thorough and professional inspection couldn’t be matched. Michael, the owner, came to the property and even spent at least 30 min in the attack to get an idea of the integrity of the decking from under the roof.
Due to some damage of the roof, we filed an insurance claim and Michael even showed up on the date with the adjuster to answer questions and present his report. Between the adjuster and Timber Roofing, all my questions were answered and he helped to navigate through the process from start to finish.
Punctuality, professionalism, and integrity stood out the most with Timber Roofing. The communication was thorough with the owner and the whole crew. If they weren’t here 10 minutes early each day, they were there right on the dot. Everything of the project was explained and when the project was complete and a section of fascia was slightly damaged, it was brought to my attention rather than trying to play it off and the material was replaced with a higher grade product no questions asked.
I am happy to write this review and wish them the best with their company because the final product looks amazing and couldn’t be more pleased with their honest work ethic.

Michael and his crew are awesome!! We had a plastic sky light that was making me very nervous with the sealing foam all coming out, they recommended the better style that’s actual glass and a frame. While he was there he found the roof vents to be the cheap plastic ones that were already failing. The skylight and vents were only 4 years old! They got it all switched out, and replaced some shingles while they were at it, he was able to source some matching ones, even though they’re not in production anymore! Bravo to these guys! You need roof repairs or replacement, I wouldn’t waste time calling anyone else!!

I was out of town when I found out I needed to get my duplex roof replaced and needed it done before winter. Michael was able to quickly give me a great price that spelled out exactly what would be done. From my first call to completion was less than 2 weeks. The trust I placed in Michael was well founded. Our experience with Michael Baumgarden and Timber Roofing LLC could not have been any better. We had a full roof replacement due to wind damage. Michael even met with our insurance adjuster during their inspection to help expedite that process. He kept us informed of all next steps and we ended up with a new roof for the cost of our insurance deductible. The process was fast and the financials were transparent. Michael’s crew even took care of some other flashing and drainage issues / existing conditions that relieved a lot of our stress. The crew was friendly and very clean. This whole process took place in less than a month. We could not be happier with the service provided.

Woke up and discovered a roof leak in the kitchen. Contacted Timber Roofing and the owner was at my home in less than two hours. He diagnosed the problem within a couple of minutes and the roof was repaired within a couple of days.

The roof on our 1907 home was leaking. I went through three other roofing companies, all of whom failed to show up when they said they would and were almost impossible to get on the phone.

Michael came out within a day of me calling him. He did a thorough inspection of our roof, both from the inside attic access and outside with his drone. He even let me come up in the attic to show me the problem areas with my own eyes. He was able to answer all of my questions and seemed to understand the nuances of an old home's roof.

He fit us in right away and had a new roof on our home within a couple of weeks. His crew was quick and responsible while on site and did work that looks solid to my untrained eye, including reroofing an unusual flat portion on our very old, very steep two story home. They also did a thorough cleanup job.

Beyond the actual roofing work, I really appreciated that Michael is EXTREMELY communicative. He texted me constantly with updates. Him and his crew were here exactly when they said they would be. He answered all of my questions and sent us drone pictures of the roof at any stage that I asked. And his contract was detailed, laying out every piece of work that would be included, what materials would be used, and explaining any extra costs.

I needed to relocate my Starlink satellite and install a Flashing Mount Kit. Timber Roofing came out and did an amazing job installing the kit and relocating my satellite dish.
