T. Davis Construction

We hired Tim Davis construction to replace a roof . Upon the roof complete , he never came and did an inspection , just asked for remaining payment by text . I mailed the check immediately . The roof has never been finished. It is missing several screws (it’s a metal roof) 1/3 of the roof on both sides is incomplete. We have made several contacts with Tim , to come complete the job . He came 1 time , and screwed a 2x4 on one of the hips to look at the roof . He then said by text , he can’t finish it unless he has a piece of equipment to get him up there . When he removed the 2x4 used on the hip , he just left holes in the metal without putting screws in the holes he made . He drove off , it’s been approximately 8 months since we last heard from him. He was paid in full, but never finished the job . The job was done in fall 2021. I was reluctant to post a review in hopes he would come and finish the job, but since he will not return texts , I feel I need to . We recently had more concrete poured by another contractor and he asked who did the roof . He said it’s a terrible job , it’s not complete and screws are all over the place , not done in a professional manner or straight lines. Maybe this review will get read , and Tim will do what’s right and finish the job we paid for .
