My house is over 50 years old and has suffered due the severe winters we have in this area. I finally decided that things needed to be repaired now. Ryan came and did a walk-through to see exactly what work needed to be done. He returned the next day with an estimate (which I thought was very fair) and signed the contract. He told me that the price that was quoted was the final amount so I knew exactly what I would be paying for the job. He let me know that it would be a short wait because they had another job to finish first. When they arrived a few days later, they worked diligently and finished the job within 2 weeks. I don't recall every working with a firm that was so friendly and kind, willing to answer all my questions, and who explained what was being done every step of the way. After several years struggling to find a good couch to put in my basement, I finally decided to go with a modular option - took 10 weeks to arrive. The day it shows up was the day I discovered how slipshod the handiwork of the previous owner truly was when they attempted to finish the walls. Water pooled around the perimeter and pushed through the composite flooring. After demo of the finished walls, clay had been pushed through the pores in my cinder block - from a family friend, I was recommended Superior Waterproofing. 110% satisfied that I did.

Knowledgeable, friendly, and collaborative, "Dewey" went to great lengths to understand my situation and made himself readily available to answer any questions or concerns I had (before, during, and after the project). We didn't just check the basement, but all my structures (interior/ext), the grade of my land, and the sump system. He encouraged my participation and actively suggested work/ways I could alleviate the strain on my home (some of which I completed before he started!). I was even able to clear the debris away myself and save a couple bucks.

My endeavor started as a headache, but I am stoked to have high quality work and industry expertise set me up proper going into 2025. Our basement was a disaster. After a particularly bad storm, we had water seeping up through cracks in the floor and coming up through floor drains. At one point it we had water above ankle-deep. We had inquired about waterproofing through another company (who shall not be named) They quoted way too much, wanted to dig up the whole yard and continued to bother us with marketing calls for years after we told them no thanks. Enter Superior Waterproofing. They came in, looked over our situation, explained what needed to be done in understandable terms, did what they said they would do, and did it very well. We waited two years to finish the basement (on their recommendation) and haven't had a drop of water down there since. Our backyard has terrible drainage, and regularly has standing water, but the basement remains bone dry.

Work with. I got several quotes for basement waterproofing projects and they came with a good cost. Throughout the whole process Dewey and the crew were courteous, fast, and very good at communicating. I am writing this review five years after I had the work done and to date I have had zero issues throughout all the heavy wisconsin rain the past years.

Since 2018, we have thoroughly enjoyed doing business with Superior Waterproofing. The team consists of nothing but wonderful guys; super friendly, easy to work with, and very knowledgeable about everything they do.

We bought an old hand-built home that had NO sumps in the basement with an extreme amount of water coming in with every rain; sometimes ankle deep! Superior Waterproofing came in and remedied the situation with precision and have followed up over the years, making sure things stay dry at all times. They completed the work in a timely manner and for a very fair price. It was (and still is) worth every single penny!

Since they completed the work, we have not had ONE DROP of water in our basement, other than the water that moves efficiently through our sump system. When we finished the basement, they worked with our contractor to be sure things were finished in the best way to work with the system they have put in place. They're also actively monitoring one of our outer walls to check for buckling of the wall after we added a parking lot to that side of the property.

Mike and Ryan were super flexible and tried prioritizing my project even though they were super busy. They treated my situation similar to how a friend or family member would and they left the job site clean. I am beyond satisfied with their services and will be going to them for any future projects!

Michael and his staff are fantastic. You have any issues they come as fast as they can usually within an hour or so and they do fantastic work. I rely on them completely plus they do a yearly check up.I just know that they’re always gonna be there and the work is going to be done properly .

Over the years, we’ve had the crews at Superior Waterproofing do some work for us at our home in the Town of Wilson. They’re always knowledgeable, friendly, and extremely professional when they work for us.

We’ve used them to replace our pumps as needed, and to perform periodic maintenance on them so that they function at peak performance. Eventually we added a quality dehumidifier, a battery backup system for our pump, and a sealed basin lid since our sump basin was open. The combination of these items really contributed to controlling the overall humidity, and even managed to reduce our radon levels in the process too. Happy side-effect!

Though we haven’t experienced any leaks or seepage requiring the kind of work they advertise, we have real peace of mind knowing that our pumps are set up to protect us from power failures, and that our humidity levels are under control.

My basement foundation had cracks in it so I called a Superior Waterproofing. Michael from Superior Waterproofing came out to my home, was extremely knowledgeable and not pushy like the other two companies who came out to my house to quote me. Michael was very polite, very patient, took the time to listen to all my concerns about my basement walls and he professionally addressed all my questions. He saw that I was installing a French drain in my backyard and he gave me some really helpful tips on how to install it properly.

This is a very good company to work with. We have an old house, have never had water problems. During Spring thaw couple years ago, water suddenly started seeping in across the floor. I asked around, and several people mentioned Superior Waterproofing. My call was answered and handled promptly and a visit scheduled. Ryan quickly assessed the situation, explained all the options, patiently answered all my questions, and left the decision up to me. No pressure at all. We decided on perimeter tile and a new install sump pump. I did have to remove shelving and stuff along the wall so they could get access to work. That's ok, I needed to purge and reorganize anyway. The crew installed the tile and pump in a few days with minimal noise and mess, and cleaned up better than I had it! I strongly recommend this company. In fact, I recently called them to come back and fix a crack opening up in a corner of the basement wall. And in addition, waterproof another home I own. Prompt, courteous, and reasonable charges. Very happy with my new AprilAire dehumidifier in the basement. Ryan at Superior was super to work with. He suggested going the power dehumidification route before digging up the floors as another company recommended. At least for now it saved us a lot of unnecessary work & $. I endured a 3-hour, high-pressure sales pitch in our home by a large waterproofing company that made me furious. What a waste of my valuable time. When Ryan from Superior visited, the meeting was thorough, reasonable, and 30 minutes long (because I had lots of questions!). He answered all my questions, provided options, and gathered the information he needed to make a detailed estimate. The quoted project cost was much more reasonable than the big waterproofing company (thousands less!). Ryan also thought outside the box and provided a creative option for our project that saved us from digging up our entire front yard (something the big company said was inevitable—argh!). Because Superior is local, they knew our city Building Inspector and worked with him to make that creative solution happen. We are very happy customers!

About the work… We had them install a sump pit, drain ditches, and waterproof wall coverings in the main section of our basement in October 2021. Wow! The space is totally dry, much warmer in the winter, and we have peace of mind when it rains buckets. We were so happy with the work that we had them come back this month (June 2023) to waterproof another section of our basement as a proactive measure because we live in a 100-year-old house. This time, at our request, Superior coordinated their project with Gen3 Plumbing (highly recommend them, too!) who were replacing our broken sewer drain pipe under the basement floor. The two companies worked very well together, making our lives easier as both of our basement projects (waterproofing and sewer pipe) were completed at the same time.

This company inherited us as customers when we bought a house by the lake that they had done work on. Even though we weren't "paying customers," they went out of their way to answer questions, give advice and explain all the work they had done previously.(Their warranty goes with the house, not the owner!) Calls were always answered or returned promptly and everyone was courteous and friendly. Mike took time to educate me on the issues I would now be dealing with and was generous with his time and knowledge.

Then recently we had issues with iron ochre (nasty stuff), heavy rains and failing pumps, so I called to have them to come take a look. Ryan came to do the service call and he could not have been more helpful and conscientious. He explained everything that was happening and suggested a cost-effective solution. He came back the very next day and completed the necessary steps to dramatically improve our groundwater issues. There's no way I could have known or done all that without lots of time, money, mistakes and trips to Home Depot.

Had a water issue in the basement in my mom's condo. Received a quote for drain tiles promptly from Super Waterproofing. They were booked several weeks out, which isn't a bad thing....I want someone who is busy as it speaks to the quality of their work. As we are in the process of selling the condo, Superior was willing to work with us to meet the timeline established by the buyer. They also went above & beyond to answer all our questions plus alleviate any concerns for our buyer.

While I hope I don't need their services again in the near future, I won't hesitate to call them if I need work done at my own home. I highly recommend them for the quality of the work and how easy they were to work with.

This year, after six weeks of dealing with a continuous weeping wet finished basement we had enough! In March 2018 we contracted Superior for a full waterproofing of our large ranch home basement. The Superior crew sure knew what they were doing. Totally fixed the problem and were neat and courteous during this trying ordeal. Glad we “bit the bullet” and pursued the project. Since the install, we have had some very large rainfalls and have experienced no water problems. We went on a ten day vacation with confidence and no water concerns. A 6 inch rain storm occurred while we were gone. From northern Minnesota while we were away, we remotely monitored the sump pump performance via WIFI using a iPhone which convinced us the waterproofing investment spent was well worth it. No weepers!

This waterproofing project may be the best single home investment we made in since purchasing the eleven year old home in 1982. The equity in our home has increased with this fully warrantied system and remains in affect or as long as we own the home. The warrantee can be transferred to a new owner bringing higher value to a home sale.
