Our experience with Spangler has been nothing short of amazing. We've had wonderful experiences working with them. I highly recommend their team and Danny is great to work with.

I am very happy that my insurance company chose Spangler restoration to repair water damage to my home. Spangler in turn chose Kevin Povec of Povec Custom Painting Company to do the actual reconstruction. This company‘s work was flawless.

Spangler Restoration Greensboro was recommended by USAA for a homeowners insurance claim due to a bathroom leak. They did an excellent job in repairing the water damage caused by the leak. It included water mitigation, replacing ceiling insulation, sheetrock repair and replacement of carpets.
Their entire team was excellent with a special thanks to the project manager, Luke. Without reservation, I highly recommend them.

Although the repairs to my home took longer than I had hoped primarily due to poor weather conditions and the holidays, once the repairs started they were done quickly, professionally and I couldn't be happier with the results. Communication was excellent and I would not hesitate to use Spangler again, although I really hope it won't be necessary.

Luke was very attentive. Updated us through the process. Sent us pictures throughout the renovation. Luke is definitely an elite employee. Thank you so much for being patience with us.

I cannot say enough good things about Spangler Restoration. My kitchen flooded due to a break in the pipes under the sink. The floor was ruined. It was removed, the subfloor was dried and mold remediation was applied. New hardwood flooring was laid and stained to match the rest of the hardwood in the house. It was perfect!

Also, the various workmen and the project manager were a pleasure to work with. They were highly skilled, well-mannered, and responsive to all my requests. Again, I give Spangler my highest recommendation!

I oversee maintenance on 3 apartment properties. At midnight I got a call about a burst water line. I arrived, stopped the water, and called Spangler. Nick was the service technician who came to extract the water. He arrived quickly, got to work, finished quickly. He was friendly with me, and the residents. There are not many people who will act so pleasantly and professionally at 2 in the morning. Great job, Nick!

Darling with Spangler on my roof repair was nothing less than a pleasant experience. They were communicative throughout the entire process. And they were very delightful to speak with.

The initial water damage mitigation phase has gone extremely well. Everyone was professional and timely, from the first call, to the estimator's visit, to the onsite crew preparing and drying the rooms.

Due to a water pipe issue, a finished room in my basement flooded. Spangler Restoration was very prompt in addressing my problem. Their work team was very informative, arrived at the promised time, and did a fantastic job in removing the saturated carpet, carpet pad, insulation, and paneling. I would recommend this company.

We had water damage in several floors or our house including under the house. The team came in and took care of all of our issues in a timely and professional manner. I would highly recommend Spangler.

We had a water pipe break in the attic on Christmas Eve. Spangler was out that evening to mitigate the problem unbelievable response.

Over the holidays in 2022 Greensboro had that bizarre freeze and our garage was severely damaged. Spangler worked with us to not only restore the garage but make it better than it ever was. The workers and project managers were so professional and provided such high quality work. Would definitely go back to Spangler if we ever needed to again. Thank you!

They were a little hard to get on the phone but as soon as I got a hold of them they came right out. The gentleman they sent out was very polite and knowledgeable.

Highly recommended! Mark Jarvis and his crew are the epitome of “under promise and over deliver”. He and his team were always on time and every phase was completed ahead of schedule. Mark took the time to explain every aspect of the job and coordinated with my tenant to make sure that his life was interrupted as little as possible. While no one wants to have an insurance claim, Mark Jarvis and Spangler Restoration made the reconstruction as painless as possible.

Spangler personnel were courteous, set up timeframes, and met the appointments appropriately. Initially, they removed carpet padding, insulation in crawl space, and dried out the area to prevent mold. Replaced carpet, padding, bathroom flooring with better than we initially had. Would recommend their superior work ethic and quality craftsmanship to everyone

Lack of communication and poor workmanship surprised me based on other reviews. Make sure you inspect the work and get very clear pricing on anything the insurance company won’t cover. Poor attitude of accounting department is another area to watch. Their go-to comment is to threaten to put a lien on your home if you question charges.

We had a roof leak, called Spangler and they came out next morning. They brought a dehumidifiers and fans to dry everything up. They were able to explain how insurance worked and got the job done. The roofers got the shingles here in a day, roofed in 2. It was a good experience.

After having quite a mess with a water leak,
Dallas with Greensboro Restoration visited with us to go over every detail of the cleanup, repair and restoration. He took the worry out it and left nothing for concern for us. Can’t say enough good about him.

Our air conditioner condensation line got plugged and flooded my entire downstairs. Spangler came in and got the job done. Tore out baseboards and walls behind the baseboards, took up flooring, brought in fans to dry everything out. The crew that worked on my restoration from replacing drywall to laying new flooring were amazing they knew what they were doing and worked as a team. Estimators were right on. I would absolutely use this company again, hopefully I won't have to but I know who to call. Bradley was my go to guy for ANYTHING I needed. Great to work with!!

Caleb and Dallas were awesome! They came every day to check on the drying process of our water damage and we’re very communicative about the extent of our damage and what the next steps would be. Would highly recommend this company to others.

Spangler helped me through a difficult time this past week when I had a major plumbing issue. They were at my house very quick once called and walked me through the while process so I was informed as to what they were doing. I would highly recommend Spangler !!

Just wanted to give a shout-out to Spangler Restoration Company. I recently had water damage inside a house I own in Winston-Salem (where my daughter lives) and, because I live in Raleigh, I expected having it taken care of would be a nightmare, but Spangler proved me wrong. Mike worked with my daughter to get the clean-up done and Erin worked with her to schedule the repairs, they kept me in the loop, and the people who actually did the work did a great job! The area was left immaculate after the cleanup and repair, the repairs looked great, the window treatments were re-hung, and everything was done in a very timely manner. As I said, Spangler made what I thought would be a less-than-desirable ordeal so easy! Although I hope I never need them again, I was glad to find out they also service the Raleigh area … just in case :). I would definitely recommend them!

We are in the middle of the repair process now. Spangler started out ok, but since I chose my flooring they have provided no timeline other than the date (9/20 and 9/21) and a time (10 am on 9/20). This was to replace flooring and a basement ceiling.

The floor crew was early, cool. But they ended up being here until 11pm RUNNING A SAW OUTSIDE because Spangler didn't schedule the movers for our piano to coordinate with the repair and would have left us with it in the middle of an entryway all weekend. I just had surgery, this is not acceptable. We had to get Jeff on the phone (no one from Spangler is actually here, they are all subcontractors that don't seem to know what needs to be done, which I fault Spangler for to be honest) and I had to get pretty stern with him and get my insurance company involved just to get this fixed. There was also sawdust all over our landscaping brickwork because it is too dark/late to blow it off at 11pm at night!

I don't expect the floor guys to somehow clean at 11pm, but come on....why was this put there to begin with? When I found it it was way too late (3/4 of the floor was put in, it was 7:30 at night).

The basement crew was 2 hours late on Friday. Told me they were on another job and forgot. They had to ask me if they were supposed to put drywall above the exposed pipes in the ceiling, and that this 'made it harder'. Then they left without telling me they were done and left my garage door wide open. I also found an unsealed gap between the ceiling and the foundation. (See the pics)

The basement crew is supposed to come back today to paint and repair the baseboards in the kitchen/hallway. I asked Jeff for a timeline. He told me piano guys at 9:30, cleaning crew and baseboard guys at 10:30. Cleaning ladies came at 10:30, no baseboard guys.

At 11am, we call Jeff back. NOW HE SAYS THE CLEANING LADIES WERE SUPPOSED TO TELL US 1PM FOR THE BASEBOARD CREW. My husband got upset and told him this is nuts and to get the crew here now and call him back with an update. Jeff said yes, but never has, and is now not answering his phone. It is now 12:30pm, and no one answers the phone on the main Spangler number either.

The moral of the story is that Spangler will not treat you as any kind of priority. I guess a $7500 repair isn't enough money to be on time or actually treat a customer with respect.

As of 3:53 pm today the one guy they sent to do the baseboards just put a hole in what he thinks is my freon line for my ac. We now have no ac, on a Saturday. No idea what will happen next.

5:56pm: Greg at Spangler got an HVAC company out. The baseboard guy finished everything except the pantry where the hole is and left, to come back Sunday at 10am to fix the new hole in the wall and finish the original work. I will update this review then.

Additional edit: as of 7pm Saturday, our AC was restored by Pilot Air (those guys were GREAT!). The Spangler subcontractor showed back up at 10:20am Sunday (after agreeing on 10am). Now we wait and see how the rest of this goes.

As of noon Sunday, the repair is completed. It looks good as far as I can tell (waiting for the paint to dry in the pantry). The sub did apologize for the issue. My only issue is really how Spangler handled the whole thing, and I will have to take that up with them if they contact me on Monday as I have requested.

I have to amend this once more. After the drywall/baseboard guy left, we discovered no cleanup done. He had told my husband he would make sure everything was cleaned up that had been left. HE DID NONE OF THAT, and we have a mess all over the basement floor from where they did the drywall. Note in the pics the piece of quarter round with the nail hanging out of it that was in my driveway in particular, and the splatters of spackle mix all over the basement floor. The basement is a basement, but at the same time we were assured by Spangler that their guys clean up behind themselves.

*I have now spoken with Mike as of Monday 9/23 about this. Now we wait to see what is done to address it.

After my house got hit by a hurricane back in April 2018 it was overwhelming. Tim Reed was there for me the very same night. I wasn't even his client that he came to help but he put tarps on the holes in the roof and was there for me every step of the way. Being a new homeowner I was clueless and he made sure that everything got taken care of. Brooke and Ginny are also amazing! These ladies were on top of everything regarding invoices, helping me talk with the insurance company, and understanding billing. The both went above and beyond to make sure everything went smoothly and I understood what was happening. We even shared quite a few laughs. I am so happy that after that horrible event I was helped by such wonderful people!
