John was great to work with. His team provided us with high quality material, craftsmanship and detail. Was able to implement our designs, provide new ones when requested and pivot if needed. Will use again.

I have had John and his guys do several projects over the years. These guys know what they are doing and John is a good honest guy. I can't imagine him steering anybody wrong. In these days of who do you trust, and everybody over charging for everything, I think Southern Builders would be a great choice for anyone.

Southern Builders of Alamance has built a multi-level deck and screened-in back porch (at our previous house), an awesome back porch with a fireplace, and a detached garage with a man cave at our new house. John sticks to his quotes, let's you know if there are other options, gives great feedback and suggestions based on his experience, starts when he says he will, stays until the job is done, and makes sure you're satisfied before closing out the project. You may have to go on his waitlist of clients, but it's not too long, and if you're like me, you don't know how to build things anyway, so you may as well wait. :)
