Outstanding work on bathroom remodel. Was there when he said he would. And finished the remodel when he said he would. Hard to find contractors that can do that these days. Excellent customer service. Will use for future projects!

Mike, Josh, Jensen, and Jake took on a massive project to transform our newly purchased home that was full of mold and dry rot into a healthy, beautiful space that we will be proud of for years to come. They ripped down our home to studs, removed and replaced subfloor, did sheet rock, texture, painting, new windows and trim, moved the front door, built a front porch, installed kitchen cabinets, bathroom tile, wood floors, interior doors, and probably more that I’m forgetting. The only things this talented crew subcontracted out were the plumber and electrician.

Not only does this crew do wonderful work for a fair price, but they are total gems of human beings and wonderful to be around (which is important when you’re going to be working with someone for multiple months!).

Mike was the perfect balance of providing input when I asked for it while also respecting our vision and style. I felt incredibly supported during a daunting renovation and couldn’t imagine this process with any other business or people.

This review is delayed because I intended to do some elaborate before and after photos just to show how much this crew kicked butt, but we’ll just do “after” for now and I’ll update the review later once I’m able to stitch some photos together.

We desperately needed our 1990s home updated and asked for referrals on our community web page. I was referred to Something More Creative by a client who was in the process of having their barn restored by Mike and his crew. After seeing the awesome work that he and his crew were presently doing and had done in the past, I reached out to him letting him know that we had a big project ahead of us and if he could stop by and discuss our plans for the remodel. He responded that day and met with us at our convenience. We were very impressed with his knowledge and experience and his kind courteous manner. After much planning and scheduling Mike and his crew made a wonderful transformation of our home, while also respecting the fact that we had to live in the house as these projects were going on.
Our home needed 2 bathrooms completely remodeled and the rest of the home needed flooring (carpet and tile replaced). So far, the entire home is complete except for the master bed, bath, and closet (I needed a break to get caught up on moving things from room to room) and Mike was more that accommodating to my request and will be back to finish that project.
These photos are of the fantastic work done so far by Mike and his crew at Something More Creative. I will post photos later of the finished master. I'm excited to started again and look forward to seeing the crew again!! They are all wonderful and talented people!!

Mike and his crew were amazing. He turned out run down, almost 100 yr old barn, into something we can really be proud off. He thought outside the box to keep our costs down, listened to what we wanted and help us realize our dream on this old barn!

You will not be disappointed with the quality and quickness it is done!

Mike is a awesome person very honest and he goes above and beyond. He does great work. He wants to leave a job knowing the customer is more than pleased. I highly recommend him if you want quality work done and he will get it done fast and with a smile. They just don't make em like that anymore... Mike turned my dream into reality he can do anything construction...

Mike is so creative and professional. Runs circles around anyone else. Such a hardworking caring man. He hung the drywall and then hand textured it. No one else wanted to do this big job. He also put up these amazing beams made from salvaged redwood. Mike is dependable and always let me know if he got delayed. I enjoyed spending time and watching Mike work. He is so smiley and positive. A ray of sunshine. Mike also taught me so much along the way and I will forever be grateful for his work and friendship.

Mike and his crew were great! They completed all of our drywall, textured and did the electrical. They finish right on time and did quality work. When throwing in last minute request they were more than happy to complete them. I will definitely call them for future projects!

You are so lucky to have this talented fellow working in your area. We miss him a great deal. Mike is a great listener, he will listen to what you want done and then do it. He has assisted me with many projects, including drywall, shingling, finishing a deck, painting, and much more, Everything he does is done with care, attention to detail, and precise work. He is fast and efficient and most important he is honest. I can't tell you enough how pleased I am with his work.

Mike and crew did an excellent job on the drywall for my cabin. Super friendly, honest and reliable. Highly recommend.

Highly recommend Mike! He does excellent work!! Very Professional and courteous and just an all around, a very positive experience!! He showed me some tips that saved me alot of money! Many contractors would have just kept those savings for themselves!!

Mike created a wall separation between my kitchen and livingroom. Livingroom side needed a wood stove pad and wall backing all done in tile. Same tile installed on entry pad. Mike climbed in the attic to measure and went in the garage to measure Uninstalled kitchen appliances. He just knew what to do for the job to come out perfect. He listened to my idea of what I wanted and executed.

Mike volunteered his time to build a playground for our school. He did an amazing job, it was quick and the job was done right.
