i needed a quick turn around on mowing and trim. not only were they able to get me on the schedule last min, but Justin and Caleb did a fantastic job! they were very detailed and wanted to make sure they did everything i needed done, asking if there was anything else i needed or wanted done before they left. they were quick and the yard looks great. i plan on asking them back to help with some more major yard cleanup and landscaping in the future! cant recommend them enough! great job Justin and Caleb!!

Rickie and Jose did an amazing job removing downed branches after a big storm. They trimmed my overgrown azaleas and shrubs which look beautiful. They were trimmed perfectly: not over or under done. Every thing was left immaculate.
Rick, Ryan and Bryant did an outstanding job building a retaining wall and replacing a support post under our deck. They always showed up on time. If they were delayed purchasing supplies, they called to let us know they would be delayed. We were kept in the loop through every stage of the project. They were always extremely pleasant and helpful. While they were here, we thought of several small jobs that needed to be done and they easily added them to their list and the charges were discounted since they were already on site. It is unusual to find a company that returns your calls, keeps you in the loop, and actually does what they say they’re going to do for the quoted price. Slate enterprises is one of those rare jewels.

A big thanks to Slate Enterprise for coming out twice to fix some trim that had come loose on my home. I've had Slate out to do several jobs for me in the past and they are always my first call when I need something repaired or updated.

The hardest working, quality man in the business. Actually the whole company is outstanding from people their modern equipment. I'm disabled so my yard was a MESS, Ricky only had help 1/2 day due to his helps wife had a medical issue but he continued to work tiresly until finished and did an awesome job. Slate Enterprise did an amazing job getting my roof back to new after a couple of pine trees fell on my house. They are very professional and quickly get the job done right. They were out to remove the trees and stress on the house in the first few days, even though everything was still covered in ice. They were back as soon as the ice melted to patch the holes and install new shingles. They proved there quality workmanship to me. Slate has cut and trimmed my lawn for a few years now. This year I decided to try their landscaping services, and they were amazing! Slate enterprise did a wonderful job remodeling our kitchen! We had a leak back in November that ruined our kitchen and slate enterprise came in and finished job within weeks. They were efficient and awesome to work with. We have used them for several house projects and will definitely be calling them again in the future! We love our beautiful remodeled kitchen and how they took a wall down and opened up both rooms to give us more space. I would recommend them to anyone!

These guys did an amazing job taking down a privacy fence that was in our backyard. Colby was very timely in coming out and assessing the job and getting a fair quote to us the same day. They found that one of the fence posts had been driven through a drainage pipe when it was originally installed by another company and they fixed the drain, filled all holes and left everything looking very neat and clean! Thank you for your hard work, Ricky, Justin, and George!!

Colby came out the same day I called about a rotting support post. He sent me the estimate by that evening. Ryan was out the next day and fixed the post by removing the rotten wood and building up the concrete footer. The work was professional and timely. I'll be calling Slate Enterprises in the future when I have the need. Thank you Colby and Ryan for all your help!

Update to review: I had Slate Enterprises back out to repair and repour a concrete pad at my side door. Ryan and Travis did a wonderful job!

Owners son (Colby) with the landscaping section is just middle man who does none of the actual work and instead focuses on selling you full year lawn maintenence. While he himself sadly holds no contractors license and can't differentiate between the word your and you're.

Within past year this company has replaced 90% of it's employees. Be wary of these companies with lazy owners and high turnover rates.

Slate Enterprises has done a wonderful job keeping my landscaping in beautiful condition. Ricky, Justin and George pruned all of my trees and bushes and keep my mulch looking great year round. I highly recommend Slate Enterprises.

I'm the receptionist at Wurth Revcar Fasteners, and Slate Enterprises brought new life to our office lobby! At first my husband thought he could do this job, but I was heck no, let’s get Slate over here to do it. Ryan and George showed up and went right to work installing new attic stairs which were precariously placed over my basement steps!! They made them sturdier than ever and will last a lifetime. When they were done, they cleaned up after themselves and there is no evidence that they were even here except for a new set of sturdy attic steps! I wanted to add to my review I posted several months ago. Ricky and Jason came and tackled my yard that was over grown with weeds and overgrown bushes. They were patient with me and went around my yard to see exactly what I wanted done. At the end of the day, they went above and beyond what was expected and I will be looking forward to Slate putting my mulch down and keeping up with the mowing and the weeding all summer

They did an awesome job getting up all of our leaves. We have a ton of oak trees in the front and back and it took them no time to get the yard looking like new! I will always recommend them!

So, when the wind had caused damage to our home and tore off the metal sheet on our roof edge my first thought was checking with Slate Enterprise to see if it was something they could fix since I know they provide more than landscaping services. Sure enough they were able to get it fixed and done within a few short days. Always happy with their timely service and quick responses!
Any time something is up with the house or the lawn our first thought is to check with Slate to see if it's something they can fix, and sure enough every time from lawn, to bathrooms, to projects on the house they can do it. They've fixed many things for us already on top of our regular yawn maintenance. We plan on using Slate for our future kitchen and bathroom renovations, sunroom addition and stone patio. Amazing company!

They came over and knocked out a fire pit area install in a few days. They took the time to make sure everything was even and installed properly rather than rush the job. I would recommend Slate for any outdoor projects.

Ryan and Jae just completed my list of home maintenance chores. They were prompt, thorough, precise, professional…and I could go on and on. That’s the service you get with Slate Enterprise! Always 5 stars in my book!

Richard and Colby come to me for all their windows , doors, additions and other construction need. I see first hand the quality of the materials they buy and I would have them build anything form me they don't skimp on any of the project. I have over 30 + years in the construction trades and another 13 selling the materials for it and I have seen tons of pictures of their finish projects and the all look outstanding.
I highly recommend them for all your needs.
