Shelley ACE Hardware

Came in about 10 minutes before close. I was trying to be quick, but looking for something very specific. The employees were very helpful and found exactly what I was looking for. They also didn’t rush anyone out at close. Great experience overall

I came here to get something, and they had some items on clearance. I got a basket full of items. When I checked out I asked the cashier to keep an eye on the items as they rang up because I had gotten some clearance items here a couple weeks earlier and there were quite a few of the items that were marked on clearance that did not ring up at the clearance price. We'll needless to say she didn't keep an eye on the register as she seemed to be overwhelmed but such a large order. I had to keep an eye on the little credit card display to see if they rang up correctly. I caught a LOT, but it was difficult because that display was about 3 items behind where she was ringing. She acted perterbed when she had to go back and find the ones that rang up wrong. I shouldn't have had to do for her what I had asked her to do. But there was about 5 to 10% that snuck through at the wrong price while I was unloading the basket. I was not happy when I got home to find that. The items I got were 90% off, so I got charged 90% more than I should have on those items. It's probably about $100.

As I reviewed the receipt, I was upset. It was over 3 weeks ago, and I am only now posting my review because I wanted to be fair and not leave an angry review. One thing that upsets me is being charged the wrong price.

My experience a couple of weeks earlier was not bad at all. The guy who checked me out was very careful and caught all of the pricing errors in the clearance items.

Ace hardware is an overpriced, convenience hardware store to start with. You know that going in, but it's a whole new ball game when you're charged regular prices for clearance items.

This is my experience, the other times that I have been in have been expensive but good. Hopefully your experience is different.

It's an ace hardware. High prices, minimum wage attitude employees. Our experience with the physical location was good, but when we asked a worker about the location of items (master link and propane) the employee didn't know what the items were. Additionally the cashier couldn't figure out how to put our coupon in to her system, sort of snarky about it as well. All in all the drop in quality of this ace is the same as the rest.

It has kinda lost its small town appeal. A little expensive. But sure glad our town has a hardware store still!

We couldn't find a tool box that we were looking for in Idaho falls so we went online and found that they did have them in Shelley. We ordered it online and it was ready for in store pickup in minutes. I went in, let them know what I was there for. They quickly retrieved the item and loaded it into my vehicle.

Called about vacuum parts Was disconnected and had to call back. I feel store associates should be familiar with all their merchandise. When I was trained at a store I was responsible for knowing the merchandise. But what wasn't great was his reluctant response, "well I'll have to check" sorry to put you out guy!

Very convenient location. Went in and found exactly what I was looking for quickly. Workers were handy and quick in asking if I needed help finding anything. Didn't need help but great that they asked.

I have to say that the customer service at the Ace Hardware store in Shelley Idaho is top rate. Ross Foster the general manager has instilled a great culture of people first. If you’re in the market for supplies go here first.

One of the larger Ace Hardware stores I've been to. Clean and we'll organized. Sales clerk was helpful and friendly.

The people in the store are so friendly and so helpful. I didn't even have to find someone to help me. They came to me. Well stocked, clean.

I have never waited long to be helped. I almost always find what I need. Sometimes the price is a bit high but I'm willing to pay for quality. Usually they have a great selection of seasonal goods as well.
