SERVPRO of Mason City

On April 15 I discovered the water heater that heats my garage had broken a pipe and flooded my basement floor. I immediately called Servpro, Mason City and they were immediately at my home. The first crew to begin taking up carpet and drying floor and walls was Dustin, Ashton, Lori, Bridgette, Will, Ennesto. After drying, the reconstruction crew headed by Jonathan, Beier construction began plans to reconstruct the basement. There were many other young folks who worked tirelessly on all crews to complete the project. All of these workers were very personable, hard workers, very friendly. I now have a beautiful basement due to the exceptional services of SERVPRO! If ever needed again, I would contact this company in a heart beat!! I also recommend them to anyone when telling of my event. Thank you so, so much all workers I met at SERVPRO!!

They did a fabulous job cleaning the carpet in a large area of our basement. So professional, hard working and polite at all times! We will definitely use their service again!

I had a sewage backup that led to a full basement remodel. Servpro was onsite that day to begin mitigation and within a week they had connected with my homeowner’s insurance to begin the rehab process. The office personnel, contractor, and crew were amazing and so helpful. Between their ability to negotiate with my insurance, abatement services, and local plumbers, and the level of construction work, I can’t recommend ServPro highly enough. I hope I won’t need them again, but if I do I won’t hesitate to call.

We woke up to water in the basement on Friday 06/20/2025 and immediately called Serv Pro in Mason City Iowa and first on the scene was Ashton Eckenrod and Will Elwood and immediately went to work and tracked down where everything was coming from and solving the problem, if they would have not im certain we would of been in a much worse scenario. Then Eneresto "tito" arrived and went straight to work as well. These fellas where nothing short of professional and respectful and very good at there craft. Respectful of our home and our situation. Steve Frank showed upnas well, there Manager and went into beastmode and helped assess the damage and was MORE then helpful with solutions. I can not commend these guys enough as they made a problem that could of been so much worse, very manageable for us. Thank you Serv Pro Mason City Iowa from the bottom of our hearts. Friendly staff. We had mold in our attic. They were prompt to come remediate it for us and cleaned up after themselves when the job was done.

We hired SERVPRO of Mason City to do a deep cleaning of our home. That included walls, floors, trim, doors, baseboards and kitchen cabinets for both main floor and basement. We came home and I could smell the clean when I opened my car door! Oh! And they washed the windows inside and out. We had a water line burst in our basement and Servpro came and quickly dried up our floors and walls. Now working with them on replacing carpet and putting things back in place. In 2014 I called ServPro services in Mason City for water flooding in my basement. They came on a Sunday afternoon and went to work on removing the water. What a relief that I felt when they came running in to get to work on the water damages.
Now in 2025 in a different house, I had another water flooding situation in the basement to deal with. I called the ServPro team and they rushed over with a big crew and went right to work.
These employees are sharp and very experienced with disasters. They were very compassionate about how devastating it is to face a water crisis. Steve Frank and Dustin Hoffman were so professional and quick to respond to me and the crew they had with them on site. They put my fears to rest by how they took care of everything.

Had a water line break in our bathroom sending water through our ceiling downstairs. Dustin, Tito, Ashton and Steve responded quickly and did an amazing job from start to finish! Highly recommend them.

Had them come in and do a duct cleaning service they walked me through what they were doing where they were going to cut holes showed me photos of before and after. Very professional would recommend them anytime for this service was a little bit more pricey than Midwest duct but I think well worth the money. Furnace seems to run so much better now.

After discovering a water leak in my basement ceiling, which had been ongoing, I frantically began calling every restoration company Google showed me. ServPro was the only company that answered their phone, and they were there within an hour with everything they needed to get the clean-up and Drying process started. Top notch professionals. Great communication. Highly recommend.

Dustin, Mikey, Trenton and the rest of the crew were spot on. Came the day they said they would, first thing in the morning and worked till the tear down was complete. The next couple of days they worked quickly and efficiently to take care of the mitigation, clean, and dry the basement in just a few days. Oh, by the way this was over Thanksgiving week. I was very happy with the work Lori, Ian, Nate and Cole did cleaning and arranging our large barn we use for tours.

Overwhelmed by finding mold between the old combination storms and sashes on nine of my 22 windows I phoned ServPro, got an estimate on Friday and they were cleaned Monday. The cleaner dealt with odd replacement windows with patience and persistence. It was like having a family member helping me. What a relief to have that job done before winter!

Techs Ian and Matt cleaned out an elevator pit today. Very fast and professional. There was no trace of the mess in the pit or that they were there. Beautiful job. Highly recommended.

My opinion is tim was a great supervisor the workers lori, felicia, ian, noah &joseph were amazing dustin & mikie did a great job on the garage. Lori , felicia and ian were polite and work together great. Very positive very helpful.

As we were cleaning out our mom’s house we had a sewer backup in the basement due to tree roots. Serve pro was here very quickly and worked diligently to take care of the situation. The next day there was another blockage which was resolved and again serve pro was here right away! Great work, very professional, very nice, great clean up!

Jessica and Jeff both came quickly to assess our damage and what our needs were. Great communication to schedule appointments for cleaning onsite, picking up items to take back to the shop for cleaning, and to remove unsalvageables.
Bridgette did all our onsite cleaning. She was awesome!! Very personable, polite, very thorough with everything she cleaned. She brought all our items back to their original state, especially our John Deere tractor and snowblower. She always wanted to ensure we were well satisfied with the results.
Valerie and Cory were also very excellent. They inventoried everything to take back to their shop for cleaning.
Nick and Cory loaded unsalvageable items, and hauled them away. Both were very polite, pleasant and helpful. Worked great together!!
Our insurance adjuster wasn't from the immediate area, so wasn't familiar with ServPro of Mason City. We told him they were a well run team and great to work with. He was glad to hear this assessment for future reference.

Water damage is never an easy process, luckily I called SERVPRO to assist when a dishwasher leaked. Lance, and his team (Kymel, Ted and others) were a fantastic help and stepped in quickly to dry the area up. I am still going through this process, but they have been a great help so far.

We had awful sewer backup into our finished basement! We received a return call from Serv Pro within 15 minutes and they were here immediately (after hours) and stayed late to make sure it was done right! Could not ask for better service , after the demo, I was in awe that Dustin cleaned up the area in the whole basement so we could access the basement until the rest of the floor was done. Mike, Matt, Ian and crew did an amazing job cleaning up after a boiler failure in a unoccupied building caused our sprinkler system to burst. They were on-site in less than an hour after calling for help. The carpets and tile look better than before the mishap. I hope not to require their services in the future, but they will be my first choice if needed. Great work, guys!

We were told the would dry out and mitigate our basement after water damage. When the crew left and said they were done, we had to clean after them as they left solid waste and did not clean the floor. They told us they would replace our furnace filter after cleaning. The filter was disgusting from trying to filter molds and dirt. When checked the same filthy filter was in the furnace. They did not do what they had promised and what they did do wasn't done well. Very disappointed.

Called first thing this morning to the 24 hour line where they took all our information. Within the hour we heard from the Mason City office to let us know someone would be here soon. Dustin and his crew arrived very promptly and did a fantastic clean up. THANK YOU!

I have had the WORST experience with my insurance company through out tragic loss in a fire, HOWEVER Surpro has been wonderful to work with regarding my contents. They treated me and my contents (even tho most were unsalvageable) with respect!! I sent pics of a few items I was very worried about and wanted to save by any means possible and they were able to locate some of the items!! When they found them they let me know right away so I had the comfort in knowing!! The communication was beyond expectations witch was so comforting considering my insurance company was so horrible. Who could imagine a flood in February? Major sump pump fail causing the water to back up in my whole basement area. Calling ServPro with my disaster still happening, everyone I talked to was understanding, responsive and accommodating. Once the influx of water receded, ServPro came within a couple hours and began the cleanup. Damaged was greatly reduced by their quick action. Everyone from office help to onsite help was amazing. I thank each one involved.

My mother’s dishwasher started on fire and filled the house with smoke. Service pro came to the rescue. Not only did you clean things inside and out but did it well! I cannot tell you how all six of my mother’s children are singing your praise! Not only did you restore my mothers home to better than before the fire they did it with kindness towards my mother.
