Servpro of Chilton, Coosa, Tallapoosa and Chambers Counties

My experience started about 11 p.m. on a Monday night. It said 24 hrs. Service so I called and she asked if it was an emergency. I said my floor was flooded with about 2" of water so I considered that an emergency. She said she would have someone call me which they did the next day. By then I had already gotten up most of the standing water by working all night. He said I was doing a good job and left without taking the job for some unknown reason.??? So I was left with the job of pulling up carpet and baseboards and moving furniture etc. It is now Monday a week later and finally getting dried out after buying 2 dehumidifiers and fans.

I wish I had read this group's reviews before taking the recommendation to use them for the restoration of my newly widowed mother's home that was flooded when pipes burst on Christmas Day 2022. A week later my mother had a stroke and it fell to me to take care of her home. Wayne promised so much and the demo started without any trouble. But by April, Wayne still had not finished the estimate to submit to insurance for the restoration. He left the company and the owner turned the project over to another group to finish. He never bothered to call me and it was October before insurance started paying because they had to audit the estimate because it was such a large amount and had taken so long to get. Then I started to here from this group because they wanted 85K. Then they returned all of my mother's belongings to a home that hadn't even begun to start rebuilding. Mahogany china cabinet was returned broken into two pieces (they shuffled it in and put in the back so we wouldn't see it at first). Then I get another bill for 25K for the months of storage. Their employee delayed the project for months and we were expected to pay for the storage caused by their incompetence. This group did not do right by my mother and her home during the most vulnerable time in her life and instead got paid over 100K and we have had to pick up the pieces and the bill to rebuild this house as after Servepro got what they charged, we are left with around 50K to restore a house with a gutted kitchen and 4 bathrooms. Run from this group as fast as you can, they are horrible...our story is not the only one like this.

I cannot stress strong enough, Do Not use the Coosa, Chilton franchise. They are absolutely the worst. I had severe water damage and house furniture and belongings had to be packed out to replace floors. They didn’t pack out some furniture because they said it was too heavy. They left 25+ boxes they packed up sitting in my living room floor. Floors were not dried out properly. My Contractor had to rent a portable pod and finish the furniture pack out before he could start work on the floors. My furniture was not bubble wrapped and was scratched and banged up when returned. When I complained they brought me some furniture markers and a couple of bottles of Old English to repair deep, deep scratches. What a joke. One piece of furniture was returned dismantled. As of this writing, they still have not made good on it even though I sent them pictures numerous times. They will not return calls, they really OVERBILLED my insurance company, lied about how many times they came to my house, and held my furniture for over 3 months after I called for it. When finally returned they brought me things that belong to someone else. Of course, I returned what didn’t belong to me. The absolute worse company franchise. By the way, I can back up this review 100%.. BEWARE OF THIS FRANCHISE and stay clear!!
