Do not hire Dustin for any contracting work, I hired him in June and now I'm currently facing a police report from a stolen card that was used in AJs in Hamburg and a half ass deck that he never finished and hiring a lawyer because he keeps sending me nasty texts about how I'm an awful customer. He promised me he would do everything, took my money and ran.
He will probably comment now and say something bad about me, because that's how he works. I've stopped communication with him and only with lawyer and I will make sure he doesn't do this to anyone else ever again

DO NOT work with this company.

We had him install two windows In our garage. They were installed 1.5” out of level. He measured off the garage floor to set the windows instead of using a level. He did not use J channel or tape around window. The wall around the window would have rotted due to the install issues. I offered to help him fix the windows and we made a date to do this. He blew us off and never came to help fix the issue. I had to pay again to get the problem corrected.

Save yourself time and money and and hire someone else

We hired Dustin to finish a room in our basement, which included installing electrical outlets & recessed lighting, hanging drywall, and hanging 2 doors. Unfortunately, Dustin and his crew did poor work.

Electrical
- The light switch was on the other side of the room from where you enter and was installed just inside the 2nd door on the hinge side (see photo 1). This was not agreed upon and doesn’t make sense.
-Dustin insisted that the recessed lights were the ones that you just replace the bulb when it goes out, not the whole fixture, which wasn’t true.
-The lights were wired into a pre-existing junction box in the ceiling without a covering for the junction box. We only discovered this because we removed the drywall from the ceiling (see photo 2).

Drywall
-A few of the sheetrock pieces were cut very poorly (see photos 3-5).
-We had agreed on installing insulation in the outside wall and the ceiling. When the drywall was taken down there were only 2 rows of insulation in the ceiling and none in the outer wall (see photos 6-7).
-The pre-existing drywall where one of the doors was installed was damaged (see photos 8-10).

Doors
-The doors were not framed properly and would not close (see pictures 11-13).

Communication
-Communication was poor; There were a couple of occasions that Dustin didn’t show up in the morning like he said he would. I would send a couple of texts/phone calls and would get no response until much later in the afternoon.

Dustin was not reliable for us and did poor work. We ended up asking him to pause his work for a week when the drywall was about half hung so we could fix the issues ourselves. He asked us to pay the remaining balance to him (in cash), which we did not feel comfortable with. We came to an agreement that we would give him all but roughly 10% of the remaining balance. After the one week pause and fixing all the mistakes we found, we decided we couldn’t trust him to do a good job and didn’t bother asking him to come back to finish the work (which he also did not contact us). I absolutely do not recommend this company.
