We hired Scott and his team for a basement remodel. It was a big project since one of our requests was to have an additional bathroom in the basement and install an egress window. I am so happy with the outcome. Our basement looks great and is the perfect hang out spot. Our new bathroom is the nicest bathroom in the house! Overall, Scott was great at communicating with us and his team and coordinating the project. I would definitely call him again for future home projects. I highly recommend him for general contracting needs.

After being ghosted by 3 contractors, it was a pleasure to find SC Contracting. Scott showed up for the estimate on time, then he provided the detailed written estimate within a day. Scott and his crew were dependable and professional. They did a great job of walking us thru the process of remodeling our 2 bathrooms amongst the other projects. Most importantly, they started on the day as promised and finished as per contract. Scott makes you feel as if you' re his only client because of the undivided attention he provides when talking to him.

Scott and his team installed an EXTREMELY heavy mirror (250 lbs). This was not your normal handyman job, but his crew handled it with ease. They were very professional and even took the time to windex the mirror for me before they left . Highly recommend and will definitely hire them for future jobs !

We recently completed a full and complex renovation of a large home (>6000 sq ft) in Monmouth County with SC Contracting. The full project spanned over 10 months and involved significant changes to the original floor plan (moving walls, rerouting stairs, removing beams). We couldn’t be happier with Scott and the whole crew. He was flexible, worked through the inevitable “bumps” of a large renovation (in the first month, we discovered part of the roof was improperly installed, and his team rebuilt the supports from the inside out), and was a great partner through the long journey. The workmanship is top notch, and the final product exceeded our expectations. Scott and his crew treated our project like they were working on their own home.

The crew that replaced my roof did an outstanding job.They left my yard neater then it had been prior to the job.Amazing!

We recently used SC Contracting to redo our master bedroom. We had recently moved in and the bedroom needed a complete uplift so we redid it all (floor, painting walls & ceiling, trim, light fixtures, closets, electrical, window curtains, etc.). Scott and his crew did a great job and we are so happy with the work they did for us. The work was top quality and the crew was extremely nice and helpful throughout the couple days of work.

Best contractor experience EVER !!! Regrouted my 103 year old kitchen floor subway tile. Blue is the regrout, red is next room not regrouted Instalked plank flooring in attic. Amazing professional knowledgeable in every aspect of construction!!! Scott , Joe and Jonathan are Amazing. Highly highly recommend. Immediate responsive reliable.

We recently used SC Contracting Services for our master bathroom remodel. Remodel might be an understatement, since I would actually call it a master transformation! Where do I begin? From the start of the project when we met Scott Casey, the owner of the business, I had a good feeling that he meant business. We explained what we wanted and with some plans drawn up, he executed these plans to perfection. He was very upfront about cost, time it would take and a starting date. They were here Monday-Friday until completion of our project. Every aspect of construction was done meticulously from demo to finished product. Scott’s crew was professional and courteous and worked extremely clean and hard. The final results of our project spoke for itself. We are extremely satisfied with the finished product and absolutely will recommend him for any home improvement project.

Scott is a pleasure to deal with. He is honest, prompt and professional. We have had other work done in our house by other contractors and we were usually less than pleased with the outcomes. Scott renovated our kitchen and this was the first time we felt the final outcome exceeded our expectations. We’ve also used his handyman service multiple times and that has also been a five star service. We will continue to use Scott’s services going forward.

Scott and his team at SC Contracting did a great all around job on a full remodel for our kitchen/dining room, ultimately tying it in to our living room for an open plan concept. Was a pretty good sized project where we had to remove a load baring wall and add a massive ceiling beam before getting into the pretty stuff, and they did it faster than I had thought would be possible. Scott took time to go above and beyond to finish up some unforeseen details with water lines to the fridge which really helped us out.

From the first phone call to the last step of installation Scott and his crew were responsive, professional and a pleasure to work with. It is very hard to find general contractors with a crew who ALL take the time to make sure that you have a quality product. They made this process easy for me and they all made it a point to make sure every detail was perfect. They actually care about the client experience and are genuine good people! I did a custom tile and wood panel installation and they brought my vision to life. It came out even better than I imagined. I will be using SC for all future projects!

I highly recommend using SC Contracting! I reached out to Scott on a Tuesday, and he came out the NEXT day to give us a price to fix the ceiling sheet rock damage we had from a water issue. We decided to do interior painting of the room since we were doing the ceiling anyway.

Coming to Middletown from north jersey we luckily found Scott. My bathroom had been damaged right before move in. He gutted and remodeled our bathroom within a short time frame I needed to get my family into our home. He did not cut any corners and did an awesome job. So incredibly grateful to have found SC Handyman!! Was really in a bind with several different home inspection repairs needed for a closing and Scott really came through! He came highly recommended and there is no doubt as to why. He was extremely knowledgeable about the repairs needed and was able to explain what had to be done.
