I've bought camper shells from Martindale's in garden city, Total truck in Caldwell. Got quotes from Custom Truck in Ontario, Oregon. Anthony at Save On Shells, Inc. Is AMAZING!!! Well worth the drive. Martindale's in Garden City, Total Truck in Caldwell, and Custom Truck in Ontario treated me like gum stuck on the bottom of their shoe. When I bought a canopy for my wife's new pickup from Total Truck in Caldwell, she couldn't even use their bathroom. Anthony at Save On Shells, Inc. Has a wonderful waiting room with a bathroom. He also offered me a newer GMC Sierra 1500 crew cab to drive around. He also offered me a trade-in for my shell if I get a different pickup. Thanks so much, Anthony, for everything you've done! I bought a 2023 Chevrolet 3500 with an 8 foot bed and was having trouble finding a shell for it. I contacted Anthony at Save On Shells, and he guaranteed me had one that would fit my truck. Not only did it fit my truck perfectly, but he did the complete installation, and was very detailed about making it sit perfectly on my truck. A short time later I decided to have load rails installed on the shell, and because of his great service, I drove the 200+ miles to have him install them for me, and once again, he did a great job. I would highly recommend him for any truck shell applications.

Anthony was nice enough to meet me on a Sunday and walk me through the specs on a Leer used camper. He was professional, friendly, and patient. I would go to him for future business.

Simply the best. I purchased an ARE MX HD and if you're in the Treasure Valley it's definitely worth the drive to Burley (even after gas I still saved money vs local options). Went the extra mile when I lost my keys on the way home from buying a shell and sent me out another set free of charge. Great communication and best prices in the PNW. A pleasure to do business with and darn do I LOVE MY SHELL!!!!

I remember buying a camper shell from Anthony for my red Dodge Dakota a few years ago. I never thought about doing a review for him until now. Anthony is a very nice person to do business with. I am getting prepared to trade or sell my pickup soon and I wouldn't go to anyone else for my next camper. Anthony at save on is an expert on camper tops and will consult on your order to meat or exceed your needs, he also has plenty if used thrifty options as well. Anthony even had the wiring for the lights done for me for free and treated me to lunch. He even knocked off a bit to help me with gas because I drove from twin falls. We had the red color matched perfectly. Anthony knows his stuff. God bless him for putting up with my picky dickering!!

All I can say is AMAZING! Quality products, great customer service (even when I added bars last minute), and the dogs approve! Even from McCall- 4.5 hour drive, TOTALLY worth it and refer all friends!

I love my shell. I got the Windoors on the side and use them all the time. The fit is perfect and the back and sides close crisply and firmly. And Anthony had me in and out installed in under an hour.

Great experience! Purchased my first shell from Anthony/Save On Shells. I’d been looking for awhile but hated the idea of spending full price. I figured finding a used one for my truck was probably a long shot until I came across his company. Anthony was really great. Very polite person when answering the phone. He talked to me for a bit and happened to have the shell size and color I was looking for. He replaced some areas of concern as he just got that shell he replaced a broken part and completely replaced the weather stripping. The. He gave my wife and I both a nice quality sweatshirt each.

Great selection had the perfect used canopy for a good price for my truck 2010 Ford F-150. Ordered some parts and was very timely. Great customer service it was good to work with this business.

If I could give this guy 10 stars I would. We bought a used shell for our GMC Sierra 1500. Not only did he work with us on the price but gave us an amazing deal on the new paint job which turned out perfect. On top of all this, was able to wire in the tail light for free and gave us some awesome black and white camo hoodies that have his company logo on it. Fantastic customer service!

Had some issues with the topper we put on. Issues were factory and not on him. He worked with me to help get it resolved and wound up replacing the topper for me. Hell of guy.

I drove from SLC, UT to Burley to purchase a used camper shell here because it was the closest place that had a shell for my particular vehicle. The owner was really helpful. He worked around my schedule and met me on a Sunday morning. Additionally he mounted and disposed of my old shell (which was basically cracked in half) for free. I did encounter an issue with my shell about a month later after purchase. I contacted Anthony and he offered to fix it for free. I didn't want to drive back up to Idaho, so I provided him with a repair quote from a local place in Utah. He sent me a personal check to cover this cost.

I'd redo this purchase just because of how respectful and helpful the owner is. I'm really happy with my shell and the service at this business. Would 100% recommend.

If you’re looking to order a brand new shell, DO NOT BUY FROM “SAVE ON SHELLS.” I’m trying to save you money and time with this review. First off, as said in a review below, Anthony from save on shells is a smooth talker. He will tell you he can get you a shell for your pickup at a way lower cost than the competitors. Sure he can, but he cuts every corner he possibly can. I ordered a brand new ARE shell for my mid size pickup this year from Anthony who owns save on shells. Everything seemed fine until the day I came to pick it up. I could automatically tell that he didn’t want to deal with us long. He wanted us in and out as fast as he could because it’s easier to hide the corners that he’s cutting when you’re there for very little time. First mistake he made is when he was loading the shell onto my truck. He was going so fast that I had to yell out to him because he almost rammed the shell into the back of my cab. Second mistake he made was that he didn’t even ordered the correct clamps for my specific vehicle, so the clamps wouldn’t mount with the correct mounting points. He just threw on some generic clamps that weren’t even meant for my vehicle. Third thing is that he never ordered the correct tailgate cap replacement for my truck. This tailgate cap is an aftermarket piece that allows the back window to sit flush with the tailgate. Without it, your back window won’t shut. So again, to cut corners, Anthony never ordered the part and pushed the window in has hard as he could to get it to latch. This caused the latch to fail because it was under constant pressure making It unusable and needing to be taken apart and fixed. The final and also very frustrating mistake was his not-so-mechanically-inclined mechanic who wires the brake lights. When he was running the ground, he drove a self-tapping screw in the wrong area. Instead of putting it in the taillight house, he put it in the back side of my truck bed. So, now I have an exposed self-tapping screw in my truck bed where my dogs like to lay. I’m not a person to ever write a review or complain, but I’m furious because I just spent $2500 and had the worst install ever imaginable. When I first called Anthony to fix the problem he once again tried to cut corners and offer suggestions that would not fix the problem. So, I contacted ARE to see how they could help me. They told me all the parts that I needed to order to get the shell fitting correctly. They also notified me that when a dealer orders a shell that requires aftermarket parts they notify the dealer that they need them. So funny thing is, he lied to me about ever knowing that he needed them. So I ordered them and what do you know, the shell now fits like a glove. After spending over $200 and lots of time researching I know have a usable shell. I will say, Anthony said that he would cover the cost of the parts that I had to get to fix the problem, but this is after he asked me not to write a bad review. At this point I want nothing to do with Anthony, or his money. I’m writing this review so you know to take your business elsewhere!!!! You’ll save yourself so much time and aggravation.

Anthony was more than helpful when we contacted him about a shell for our truck. We winter in Arizona and called him from there to ask him about purchasing a shell when we got back to Idaho. He had a black one at that time that was perfect and a good price. He sent several pics and all the info. We bought it from him and he held on to it till we got back a month later. He took our old one in trade and gave us a fair price. As soon as we got there he pointed out that in the sunlight it was a dark metallic brown instead of black. He was more than willing to find us a black one. We actually liked the brown one better and kept it. We were very impressed that he pointed the different color out. We may not have noticed if he hadn’t. Anthony is very friendly, helpful and seems to care about his customers. We would have given him more stars if possible and we will recommend him to all our friends and family.

Anthony is the bomb! He is the ultimate in customer service! I needed a small very odd part and he went way out of his way to get it for me. He acquired it and shipped it to me at his own cost and did not charge me. I will certainly be doing business with him in the very near future again. Save-On-Shells made my day! I've been looking for a topper for my truck for quite some time now but I didn't want to spend an arm and a leg on a brand new topper so I've been trying to find a "deal" on a used one. The problem I ran into is my trucks bed length and body style is a not so common configuration and after months of searching I found myself empty handed. I was to the point to where I was ready to just bite the bullet and order a brand new topper but I thought I would call around a 300 mile radius and see what local dealers had in stock. When I called Anthony (the owner) of Save-On-Shells he explained that he wasn't currently in the office but he was pretty sure he had a few toppers in my style and fit in stock but he said he needed to check for sure and would get back with me. The very next day I received a text from Anthony stating he had good news for me. Not only did he have a topper in stock that would fit my truck, he also had my exact color! This was better news than I could imagine receiving. I was fully prepared to get my topper repainted due to the fact that the color of my truck isn't super common but this ended up saving me a few hundred dollars. When I arrived at his business he took me around and showed me all of the different toppers he had in stock that would fit my truck, he said if I wasn't 100% on the one we previously talked about he would put the different toppers on my truck to see if I liked 1 more than the other. Long story short, once he placed the first topper on my truck I was sold, but it was nice that he was willing to put different styles of toppers on my truck so I could actually see what different styles would look like. Overall I had an amazing experience with Save-On-Shells and I would be more than happy to do business with Anthony again. I've already been referring him to friends and people I see. If you're in the market for a truck topper, bed cap, camper shell... whatever you like to call them give him a call. The drive to Burley is absolutely worth it.

Owner showed me lots of different options that I could have my shell made. Explained why some options we're better then others. Really enjoyed working with him. He kept us notified where our shell was at during the building and shipping process. Great customer service, will be shopping here again.
