Daniel Alon was recommended by a friend & he didn't disappoint! In my head, I knew exactly what I wanted for my bathroom & through trials & tribulations, he and his team helped me realize exactly what I pictured.

When I called Daniel, he came out immediately & had a quote within a day. A lot of contractors won't even respond to a request to just renovate a bathroom. I got such a good vibe from his responsiveness & positivity that I didn't even get any other quotes. Throughout the process, Sabino, Jenaro (?) and Chui arrived on time and did everything with a smile, as did their tiler, Choco. And they really know what they are doing. When I freaked out because I realized I didn't like the bench tiles I picked out, they gave me options & calmed me down. They'd always give me their honest opinion, and they answered my zillion questions along the way. In fact, Daniel encouraged me to ask questions.

Even once the job was finished (and paid for), when there were a couple of things I didn't love, they came back to fix them.

I absolutely loved everything about working with Daniel - his responsiveness/communication (what contractor returns every call, text or email promptly - even if it's to say he's in a meeting but will call me in a bit), his encouragement & reassurance (don't worry - you spend every day in there - let's make sure you get the beautiful bathroom you want), and the competency, friendliness and reliability of his entire team!

Daniel Alon came highly recommended by a friend. Of the people I interviewed he came in at the most reasonable price. He was very responsive from the first meeting to the final day of the project. He completely updated my entire condo (2 1/2 baths, refinished kitchen cabinets, new counters, paint, ceiling fans - you name it). He checked in daily and responded immediately if I reached out. He came in on time and mostly on budget. There were a few overages of things we couldn’t have known until starting and things I added along the way. He took all requests and delays from HOA in stride. I would definitely use Daniel and his crew again. And I would definitely recommend them.

We were doing a partial bathroom renovation, replacing tile, painting, replacing the vanity, pretty straightforward. I had met with four other contractors at this point, and the estimates were VASTLY spread out, and many were vague or just a lump sum estimate without scope of work details. Then came Daniel and SafeSide. He listened to what we wanted, and even made suggestions that saved us money. His estimate was very well priced, and listed each element we spoke about in detail. We immediately felt comfortable with him and his crew. They worked very clean, protecting surfaces and keeping supplies organized by the end of each day. Daniel's guys showed up right when they promised, and he stayed on budget. He worked with us to complete the project within our timeline, too. He communicates very clearly and is very responsive to both text messages and calls. Daniel even personally showed up to check in every day, sometimes multiple times throughout!

We have contracted Safe Side to do three projects for us...painting all of the exterior wood on our home, later the stucco exterior and installing a tankless water heater. Each project had a reasonable bid -- we did comparison shopping. Each time, Daniel Alon was in touch, communicated but did not rush us and was available and responsive throughout each project (even when on his family vacation!). His subcontractors were on time, able, friendly and thorough. Jose and Alex were great to have at our home working. We felt trust and confidence in Daniel's leadership and in the people he works with to do our projects well and timely. The results speak for themselves -- beautiful work. Home renovation can be incredibly stressful and expensive but Daniel was the right choice for us as first time renovators. He is a great communicator and always responded immediately to our calls and concerns. Everyone on his team was also professional and skilled. We recently completed a large remodel project including a main bathroom remodel, a guest bath remodel and new LVT flooring for our first floor with Safe Side and we could not be more happy with the project or results!!!

As both my wife and I are both working from home due to the pandemic, it was important that we work with a contractor who would be sensitive to our schedules and accommodating that we were still staying in our home during construction. After initially interviewing three different contractors, we made a decision to go with Safe Side. During our initial meeting with Safe Side, we made a really great connection with Daniel and felt he was 100% aligned with our goals and needs. Daniel provided a very fair quote and was very honest about the expected project duration and clear on project deliverables.

Before the project started, Safe Side was extremely thorough with providing our list of deliverables and overall was excellent with pre-work/planning. Daniel personally came to our home 4 or 5 times to walk his different teams through job before even starting.

Throughout the project, Daniel was very responsive and always available via text or a conversation. Daniel checked in often to give status and update on the remodel. We were never in the dark on where we were in the project and always knew what to expect next. This was very important to us and helped us feel at ease throughout the remodel.

Daniel listened to our feedback and concerns along the way and was very flexible, even making changes mid-project to make sure we were happy. He treated our home like it was his home and made many great recommendations that went above and beyond our expectations. He provided valuable suggestions and recommendations but left it to us to decide and never pushed one way or the other (although he always had a solid opinion and rationale).

Equally, we were very impressed with Safe Side’s excellent subcontractors. They were all very neat, polite, easy to work with and followed all COVID protocols.

During the project, Daniel was present onsite often even if just for a half-hour to check in. He never hesitated to come over when we needed to discuss something even though the drive was sometimes over an hour. He felt very “present” through the whole project.

Safe Side was very organized when it came to bookkeeping and billing. They always explained where we were in the project, what payment they were collecting for and made sure to mark both their invoices and ours so we also were tracking.

At the end, the project was completed in the time frame that had initially been promised and the work was outstanding. The photos speak for themselves but definitely exceeded our expectations!

Overall Safe Side was easy to work with and made the project super easy to live (and work) through. Most importantly, we absolutely love the final product and highly recommend Daniel and Safe Side for any construction project!

I've been using Daniel for a few years now and he has quickly become my "Go to" for any and all repairs. I own a 6 unit property and I have used him for all of my repairs and upgrades. He has repaired water leaks, kitchen remodeling, bathroom flooring, exterior painting of the building, replacement of sliding doors, he even removed the popcorn ceiling and installed recessed lighting. He is efficient, fairly priced and professional. I highly recommend for whatever your needs. I couldn't be happier!

Daniel and his crew were awesome. We had multiple problems with leaks and holes in the roof all at once as well old dilapidated insulation. They came in and dealt with everything in a few days and took all the needed safety precautions. Daniel personally climbed on the roof and went into attics to ensure jobs were done properly. He also discovered a leaking pipe in our crawl space and devised a clever way to access it that was way beyond the call. I would call Safe Side for any general contracting need we have in the future.

Daniel’s team installed a gas log system in my wood burning fireplace. His team was professional, knowledgeable and showed up when they said they would. It really turned out great. I highly recommend Safe Side Builders!

Daniel and his team are incredible. I was terrified to hire a contractor as the negative stories out there are overwhelming. Daniel is an awesome communicator who wants it done right the first time. We recently remodeled our kitchen with the help of Safe Side Builders. Our kitchen remodeling was a complete remodel that included all the upper and lower cabinets, sink, island and new hardwood floor. During the remodeling process Daniel was polite and an expert. He was on time at the house each day, worked around the set budget and made sure that no matter what, the work will be on schedule while ensuring that we were all in agreement with the designs and plans before any work was done!

From start to finish my experience with Safe Side Builders has been incredible and my backyard landscaping remodel project was absolutely beautiful!
Dainel helped me reimagine the space and come up with a phased project within my budget that really brought the space to life! I replaced gravel with Artificial grass, they replaced my back gate and provided me with a much more secure option that was also aesthetically appealing and it all got completed in a reasonable time frame.

I had searched several options for replacing a dated stair rail in my beach front condominium and found that the modern design that I wanted was hard to find and very expensive. Daniel was polite, professional and responded to my inquiry quickly with several problem solving options. After our first meeting I knew I was in good hands. Safe Side Builders installed the very structure that I had been looking for and it was done quickly and cost effectively. I have attached photos of the finished project. Our old wood burning fireplace was in bad shape. To replace it would be very expensive. We decided to check out an electric one. So I called Safee Side Builders and they did a great job. We love it and they did the job in one day. We can't wait for the next project.

We hired Safe Side Builders after we saw the great repair work they had done for our HOA on a balcony leak and subsequent damage. We hired them to convert a closet into a laundry room and new kitchen quartz counters/backsplash and sink. The experience from start to finish has been great. Daniel, the owner, is consistently responsive to any questions or concerns we had. He walked us through the scope of work and budget beforehand and, most importantly, stayed within budget. He made helpful suggestions and offered his ideas without being pushy, and his prices were fair, particularly for the quality of work performed. The end product was beautiful and best of all, they completed the work within his timeframe. The people who work with Daniel are terrific, efficient, talented, prompt and courteous. Rather than sitting around wondering when the crew or Daniel would be here, they would be one step ahead of us, arriving for work early and staying til the work was done. I also appreciated the fact that Daniel and all of his crew were very cognizant and respectful of the fact we have two small children, and worked around them. Our toddler son loves many of the workers he met and was fascinated by the work they performed.

The end product was terrific and has led to additional jobs in our small 7 unit building and further work with the HOA. We will be hiring them again soon.

Safe Side Builders care about the work they do and don't make promises they can't keep. We had a number of small projects in our condo complex plus some larger (new pool decking, rebuilding cabinets for electrical equipment) and Safe Side Builders not only finished on time, but added lots of tiny touches we didn't even have on our list (ie, extremely fair pricing and many add-ons without added costs). Daniel Alon makes a personal commitment to his work and by the end of the project, he became a member of the family. Daniel and his craftsmen are respectful, skilled and provide quality work.

I have used Safe Side on a few separate occasions. The 2 more major contracts were a new roof on my Hollywood Hills home and all new Windows and doors very recently.
