Our Monter tile roof needed repair and overdue cleaning. We were concerned that we would need a new roof partly because other roofing companies we contacted didn’t seem interested. One referred us to Ed Richards Roofing saying he is the go-to guy for these types of tile roofs.

Ed promptly inspected the roof and assured us that this type of tile is actually desirable for longevity.

Ed is a clearly a specialist with the tile, and was comfortable taking tiles up to inspect the gutters and putting them back in place like it was second nature.

Ed completed the job quickly and thoroughly, replacing broken tiles and clearing out pine needle buildup and removing moss. He also replaced a leaky skylight leaving everything looking essentially new. He left the job site cleaner than it was before he started. We plan to move out of state, but I would hire Ed to perform annual cleaning and repairs exclusively if we were staying.

I had a leak in one of the valleys on my roof and Ed did an outstanding job replacing the valley metal and opening them so they would drain better. He also cleaned the moss off the roof and the gutters. He completed this job on time and always kept me informed of any delays. You can see from the pictures the quality of the work that was done.

My skylights leaked for many years. I had tried to fix the leaking over the years. Ed came in and in one day they were fixed. We have had a lot of rain recently and it’s such a relief to not have leaky skylights. I can recommend his prompt, therough service.

We contracted Richards Roof Service to clean and repair our tile roof. Falling branches from recent windstorm had broken several roof tiles and ridge caps. We have lived in the house for 2 years and have never had roof cleaned. Upon inspection, it was determined that it had been several years - if ever - that roof had been cleaned. Ed removed all of the moss build up on the roof tiles and also removed all the tiles along the roof valleys and cleaned the accumulated fir needles underneath that were diverting water off the flashing. The roof looks brand new now. We couldn't be happier. Ed is an expert in tile roof repair. He is very professional and reliable and I would highly recommend him for any roof work that you need done.

The quoted price seemed a bit high but it was affordable and I had a high degree of confidence in him after we discussed the problem and his remedy. The roof looks great and appears to be fixed.
