Restoramate did an outstanding job when I had a water pipe break, leaving a few inches of standing water in my 1,200 sq. ft. basement. They quickly identified and rectified the leak within minutes and immediately began the restoration process that same night. Their prompt response, professionalism, and efficiency made a stressful situation much easier to handle. I highly recommend this company for anyone in need of water damage restoration services!

After two incredibly unprofessional experiences with two other companies, I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism and genuine regard for my case by Restoramate.

The intake call was handled with professionalism and detail. Immediately after gathering my information and details I was routed to the correct person to further this project along. Once all pertinent information was gathered they sent a professional poised Individual out to assess damages.

Tim was quickly able to explain what was happening and how to handle it and what needed to be done. He immediately got to work and put together a team to start remedying my situation.

This is a complex nuanced situation in my home. This team is professional and able to work with me and the insurance company with ease. Most importantly I feel safe in my home again.

I wish very much that I could leave a 5-star review. Unfortunately, our experience was extended and frustrating:

-We were initially duplicate billed for some mitigation services. When pointed out, it was dismissed as lack of understanding how invoicing works with mitigation. Only after our insurance adjuster pointed out the same thing was the duplicate charge removed.

-We paid a $1,000 downpayment the day mitigation work started. This downpayment was not reflected on our invoice until pointed out. If that had been the only issue, we'd understand--mistakes happen. However, combined with the duplicate charges, it impacted our trust in their billing.

-We were assured all services would be covered by insurance. When this was not the case, we were given no choice but to pay over $1,000 out of our own pockets for mitigation work.

-Overall lack of communication. We generally did not hear from RestoraMate unless we initiated the contact or complained. It's been almost two months since the water damage occurred. Our last communication from RestoraMate was on 02/28, when we were told they would be contacting our adjuster directly by phone to discuss the mitigation invoicing disagreements. We just heard today--over two weeks later, and through our insurance adjuster--that no call was received and RestoraMate emailed our adjuster that they will not be managing the repair portion of our claim. As the ones dealing with continued impact to our daily living, we would have appreciated hearing that directly.

Jonah and Shawn were great to work with in person, and we appreciate that they helped prevent further damage to our home. Yet now we must start the repair process from scratch after already being in the hole, and we cannot recommend this company given the extensive issues above.

STRONGLY recommend Restoramate! Our home's basement flooded in June due to a water heater failure. We had such significant damage that 650 sq ft of flooring had to be removed down to the foundation slab and most walls taken down to the studs. After water abatement was completed, Jonah and his team came to the rescue. They were onsite promptly and guided us through everything starting with design, materials selection, to getting going with the actual work. They presented very fair and reasonable pricing. Extremely professional, respectful, and a highly effective team. Seeing the space that included a bathroom, mudroom, laundry, living room transformed with high end finish work is so satisfying. We could not be any happier with the state our home is in after Restoramate completed the project. Better than before the flood! And very important to share that the project was on schedule and they communicated every step of the way.

If needed, I would use them again, and have told family and friends that these are the guys I trust! Thank you!

I was going on a trip cross country and right before I left, my washing machine backed up and water was everywhere. I was very happy with how quick RestoraMate was able to arrive stop the leak and immediately get working on fixing my flooring and walls. 4 days later you would never know we had a leak. I hope I won’t have to refer anyone here because house damage is no fun, but if I have to I will say you gotta give RestoraMate a call.

I handle homeowner insurance claims across Washington and Oregon, so I’ve delt with the good, the bad, and the ugly when it comes to contractors & water restoration. I first came across Restoramte on a claim in November 2022 and have since worked with them on about 4+ claims, on single family homes and rental properties.

Right up front – 5 stars across the board, I highly recommend them! I’ve gotten more positive feedback about Jonah (one of the owners) and his crew than I’ve gotten about any other contractor or water restoration crew in WA or OR.

Restoramate has worked with me to make sure everything was covered and to make sure the homeowner didn’t have to pay anything extra out of pocket. The homeowners have all told me that they showed up when they say, the crew is very polite, respectful, keeps a clean job site, and have been willing to work with the homeowner’s or tenant’s schedules.
On every job they’ve given accurate, fairly priced bids, and only bid for the work that needs to be done – they don’t try to add anything in if the homeowner doesn’t need it or ask for it. They’ve had fast response times, excellent communication throughout the entire project, do excellent work and always finished on time as scheduled. Most importantly the homeowners have all been happy & 100% satisfied. Multiple homeowners thanked me for referring Restoramte and have told me to make sure I keep referring them to other homeowners.
Needless to say, they've earned my trust and confidence. I’d hire them for myself or family in a heartbeat, I feel more than confident referring them to any job, and I look forward to working with them much more in the future.

We hired RestoraMate in February 2023 to repair the extensive water damage in our daylight basement from a burst hot water pipe.. It required total renovation: new floors, replacing rotten wood oanels, paint, etc. RestoraMate did an excellent job for us. We highly recommend this company.

There was mold growing in random places in our house that we didn’t want spreading any further, when the RestoraMate team showed up they had gotten rid of it and repainted over the damage the mold made. They were pretty professional and didn’t have to pay too much.

I recently had a big water mess at my Birch Bay home. I called Restoramate for help, and they were amazing!

Right away, they came over and checked everything. They told me what was wrong and how they would fix it. I felt better knowing they had a plan.

Restoramate worked really hard to clean up the water and dry things out. They paid attention to all the little details, which was impressive. They knew exactly what to do.

They talked to me the whole time, letting me know how things were going. It was nice because I could ask questions and understand what was happening.

I could tell Restoramate really cared about doing a great job. They didn't just fix things – they also gave me tips to stop this from happening again.

Now, my Birch Bay home looks like it used to – all thanks to Restoramate. They're the best at fixing water damage. If you ever need help like I did, I totally recommend them! Big thanks to the Restoramate team!

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
