Ryan was fantastic. He explained in detail the problem with our battery voltage, fixed it, how to avoid it in future and answered our questions on system, batteries and fuses. Knowledgeable and professional staff member.

I have found RES easy to work with and very freindly. The only thing I now wish I had done is ask for what other options existed for batteries and other set ups (off grid vs on grid). I may have still chosen my current option, but it would have given me greater perspective on what was available.
My panels are not "on" yet, but that would be the last piece to be put in place to see how well the panels work and the amount of energy they can create.

Renewable energy provided spectacular customer service! Our team was in urgent need of a new solar setup for a remote weather station and Renewable Energy Systems set us up in less than an hour with four new batteries, a new panel and charge controller all at a very fair price. To top it all off, they were willing to deliver the goods to a local airport before noon the same day! Melissa and Rj were a huge help and we couldn't have gotten the weather station fixed so quickly without them.

Initially after a bit of I rocky start, the owner responded to my review and had me contact the GM of RES. Long story short, I took my Intech trailer to the Wasilla location this week and the technician, Jim, did a very nice and professional job on the installation of a solar panel, DC to DC charger, and charge controller. This job was somewhat out of the ordinary because of a fiberglass roof on the trailer. However, Jim was able to mount the panel securely despite the challenging roof construction. I am very pleased with the care taken, and attention to detail to ensure that the job was done correctly. On the inside of the trailer, the wiring and mounting of the Victron devices were clean, neat, and well thought out. He was also very thorough walking me through the setup of the DC to DC and Charge Controller on my phone app. Very pleased with the entire experience at the Wasilla RES location.

It is not often that I get the chance of writing a positive review for exceptional service. From the start of our conversations with Jarrod in Fairbanks to the install with Jim at Wasilla, the experience was fantastic. Jarrod and Jim are extremely knowledgeable on the correct components needed for our RV. Melissa the Wasilla manager was also very helpful and concerned that we received the best attention. Recently I discovered that my newly purchased fifth wheel travel trailer was seriously underpowered for my Alaska boon docking needs. I got ahold of Renewable Energy Systems in Wasilla and they were able to help design a system that met all my needs. The work was done quickly, professionally and ahead of schedule. R.E.S. provided me with a reliable solar system that has given me the confidence that I can generate enough power to be self-reliant on my off-grid property for years to come. Having installed the system myself, I recently had an issue that I couldn’t figure out on my own. Eddie, up in Fairbanks, walked me through the inverter menu and patiently helped me trouble shoot the possible issues. After patiently going through the process, he helped me to identify the problem and now the system is up and running without issue. To not have to burn gasoline in my generator all the time is going to save me a good deal of money. Thanks for everything Eddie and everyone over at R.E.S.

Kudos to Jim at the Matsu shop for a great job upgrading our motorhome house battery system. He maxed out our amp-hour capacity with high quality Rolls batteries in a very tight fit. Great outfit, they also last year installed 18 solar panels on our house and an automatic household battery backup/inverter system.

I am so thankful to the staff at RES in Wasilla. They take the time to go over the products and options for installation making it super confident for a DIYer to get the job done right. And...they also do professional installs for those times when DIY isn't the best option. They have a wide variety of products in stock and the little bits and pieces needed to connect it all together.

Our Schneider Conext decided on irs item to retire... worked with RES to try and revive it, but it thought otherwise. They had the new version in stock, loaded the current firmware for me, and I was back in working order within an hour of getting home.

We had an excellent experience with RES! We went to them to get a solar power upgrade for our camper. They took the time to listen to what we wanted and then figured out the best way to get us there. They suggested some things we hadn’t thought of to improve our camping experience.They were never pushy and we appreciated their ideas.

The folks at RES clearly take pride in their work. Our upgraded system looks great! The installation quality is top-notch. Everything is well-organized and tidy.

We live in Naples Fl and have been RVing six month a year for the past 11 years and have driven over 160,000 miles. The reason for the intro is to qualify us as experienced RVers.
In today’s new world it is difficult to find competent., affordable service. We have a new Vanleigh Vilano that we wanted to upgrade to solar. We called a number of RV repair shops on our trip to Alaska. Some had openings six to eight weeks out and others wouldn’t even return our calls. While on the Alaskan Highway we called Renewable Energy Systeums. Fred Groendyke of their Wasilla store took the time to figure out what we needed and scheduled us in so that our trip would be minimally interrupted.
Jim Rush, their installer is a very personal knowledgeable guy who goes out of his way to assure that we understood what he was doing. They consulted with Tiffin, the RV manufacture and the manufacture of the inverter to assure us that what was installed would be compatible with our rig and meet all required safety regulations.
The end results were amazing. Our first night out without shore power went flawless. Even in the twilight of an Alaskan summer evening the new lithium batteries with two solar panels were able to keep up with our power usage. So glad that we didn’t go the generator route. While the cost for solar verses a generator are comparable the big difference is weight, maintenance cost, fuel and restrictions on generator use in some campgrounds.
Almost forgot to mention that as a part of the Congressional, Inflation Reduction Act you are eligible for a 30% Solar Tax Credit. Also ask about their Veterns discount which I appreciated.

Experience counts! RES Alaska actually designed a better option for me than I had conceived. The savings allowed me to add solar panels to another building as well. A small backup battery system was also added.

Wow, an honest business that does what they say they'll do when they say they'll do it. Fred and the rest of the guys are friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. Fred is really an expert who actually follows up to see how things are going. The price was better than what I thought it would be too. I will go to them for all my off grid needs. We need to support good businesses like this one.

Fred at RES was super responsive. I requested quotes from four places. Fred responded the same day with a quote; the only other quote I received came a week later and was 50% higher in price. The service throughout my experience was great. I always knew what to expect regarding the timeline of installation. Choosing RES was a no-brainer.
