Beware! Do not let this guy finagle you out of $8 - 12K. His agreement shows a very low price or "no charge" for plywood replacement. The fact is, his goal is to go over anything and everthing with metal. I bet he hasn't replaced one piece of plywood - ever! Why? Because he cuts corners (big corners), by not tearing off all of the old shingles first (which is nessessary to inspect the "plywood" and underlying roof structure.) He is charging 8-10k for one day of labor (3 guys / $300. per man x 3 = $900.), and he's giving you $2,100. worth of metal, screws (yeah screws), etc. That totals $3,000. So he's making a fast $7,000. on a $10,000. roof job for not lifting a finger. And the homeowner is being set-up for a faulty roof. If he was willing to do the right thing, which he never does, he would include tearing off the old shingles, disposal, replacing a few pieces of plywood, etc. Doing the job correctly would cost him a bit more for the add'l labor and materials but he would still make a $4-5,000. paycheck (for not lifting a finger) and he wouldn't be short-changing the customer. Note: Make him tear off the old shingles, replace plywood. etc., before he installs all of the metal. And pay someone to go up on the roof regularly to inspect his work! Take photos along the way. Glad I could call him out on this before he continues to "short-change" more of these gullible / trusting people / customers.

This company does not stand behind their work. After replacing our roof it leaked. The ceiling fell to the floor. Floor ruined by water running inside wall.
The owner is more concerned about his personal problems than doing a good job.
After several calls he fixed the roof with basically a band-aid. He sent someone to replace the drywall but refused to repair the floor.
I do NOT recommend this company.

Owner is very professional and personnel He took time and explain what I need to do to save my roof,He could have easily told me I need another roof,God bless this company,They don't make people like this know more

Reiter Roofing just finished our roof project, August 2018. The workman showed up on time and completed the roof in a couple of days. The materials and workmanship was to our satisfaction. We hired Reiter Roofing to put a metal roof on a house we were going to sell. From the first free estimate to the completed job we couldn’t be happier. So much so we contracted them again to replace our shingled roof with a metal roof. Matt and his crew are very knowledgeable, professional and polite. They started on time at both jobs one took a day and a half and the other a day. They answered any questions we had and explained the whole process. Even throughly cleaned up both yards and driveways of debris and nails. Very happy with Matt and his crew and would highly recommend them to anyone looking to replace their roof. Reiter Roofing provides excellent workmanship and service; at a competitive price; very well organized in the field and in the office; from order to completion 3 amazing days; the office supported me with document after document after document for insurance purposes; always delivered in a timely manner with goodwill attached; 15 months, 2 northeasters and hurricane Irma later a tiny breech showed itself; I called it in to Reiter Roofing in the morning and before 4:00 p.m. the same day the problem was solved @ no charge; I highly recommend Reiter Roofing; I will call on them again for my next roof; whom ever wrote that negative review about drinking on the job and damaging property had the wrong Reiter Roofing; there is another out of state of Florida Reiter Roofing;

As I write this review for my recently completed metal roof, I am puzzled by some of the comments made in the negative reviews. My experience was one of complete satisfaction by Matt and his crew of extremely competent and well behaved workers. My house is three stories high and over 100 years old. Other roofers refused to quote the job. Matt was very helpful by providing written information about the benefits of a metal roof and answered my questions before we signed the agreement. Reiter Roofing completed the job in a timely manner and unlike many St Augustine contractors, once the job started, Matt & his crew worked exclusively on my house until the job was finished. I recommend Reiter Roofing and have told Matt to use me as a reference.

Matt Reiter just finished our metal roof. They were here at 7:00 am and left after 6:00pm. Our roof line is very difficult. It's an old house with many add on over the years. Crickets and ridges abound. We are very happy with our new roof. I recommend them highly.
