Positive: I liked the laminate floors. The ac worked too well sometimes. Negative: The bed was extremely hard, the pillows were square bricks; they were literally so compacted down, that they were hard as bricks. No exhaust fan in bathroom, shower had no pressure whatsoever.

Mostly quiet stay. The AC made enough noise to drown out other sounds. Bed a little hard for my preference. Parking a little tight. Easy access from main road. Friendly staff. Had expected a little more for breakfast options. No protein unless you count yogurt and milk.

Stay away. Attempted to stay here for one night in June 2025. Cockroaches found in room in the middle of the night. Upon discovery of this, we had to make arrangements in the middle of the night to stay elsewhere. When I returned to the Red Roof in the morning to explain the situation, the manager was completely dismissive of our situation, even at one point implying that it was our fault for not reporting the situation when we found the bugs (it was literally 1 am and the lobby was locked and the lights were off). They refused to fully refund us for the room, instead offering a partial discount which they claim was sent but has yet to be seen on my end. They refused any other assistance, looked for more excuses to make it our fault than to make it right.

Our room was also more than an hour late on being "ready".

I also forgot my phone charger in the room. When I asked to go get it, a worker went with me. Upon entering the room again, another bug was spotted. The worker proceeded to gasp and tell me right to my face "I knew we had bugs!". That told me everything I needed to know.

This past Sunday, was my fourth stay here over the last two years! I drove longer, and later at night, just to stay at this hotel! It is amazing! Rooms are spotless, bed is sooooo comfortable. Sheets are good quality, and the amenities equal those of much higher priced hotels. And it smells so good! Whatever air freshener they use, is wonderful. It’s not overpowering and not “masking” anything, but just makes the stay even more pleasant! And free breakfast! Yummy stuff! Real 1/2 and 1/2! Desk reception each time has been amazing with friendly and professional service! If you’re in the area, please stop by! You won’t be disappointed! And the price can’t be beat! I’m from Columbus, Ohio, and the Jim Truman family who founded the Red Roof Inn was also from Columbus. After he passed, his wife sold the business, and I think they are now franchises? But the other franchises need to take a lesson from this one! And Jim Truman would be proud his legacy is still being honored in the same way he ran his business! Thank you!

The hotel is nice and clean. Close to restaurants and grocery store and right off the main roads. The one thing that stood out was the Indian girl at the front desk in her early 20's? She was always smiling and so happy and had great customer service. Was genuine and not fake. Maid did a great job cleaning too. I'll be back!

I’ll start by saying, I’ve never stayed at a motel before and had several reservations about it. I was throughly impressed with my stay! The rooms are spotless! The housekeeping comes every day (unlike some of the nicer hotels like Marriott that have opted to every other day). Each room has a midsize fridge, a microwave and a coffee pot. The motel is central to everything- 1 mile/5 min drive to UVA. 2 miles/ 8 min drive to the hospital! The staff have been courteous. The free breakfast includes your typical waffles, muffins, bagels, and yogurt. Overall I was really impressed and would definitely stay here again. Thank you

I was pleasantly surprised. The room was very clean, the front desk helpful, and there were more little amenities in this room than much more expensive places we stayed on our road trip (HDMI cable for the TV for example) They Also are very pet friendly, first dog stays free! The only downfall is that the doors could be thicker as you face outside and can hear EVERYTHING. With the proximity to a large highway, it can be loud.

Decent place, rooms are decent. Location is amazing. I gave it a two star because the internet is beyond crap, like think of ye old dial up days of yore and there you go. I am not sure what they are doing wrong or what the issue is, but if you need to use internet for a project (in my case working on a thesis) this is not the place.

Very dirty and disgusting room. Only positive of my stay is the front desk was nice and let me have a late check out. No butter or syrup for waffles on one day. And 2 days in a row no cream cheese for bagels. I had to go to McDonalds both days for breakfast. Will look to stay elsewhere when in need of a budget hotel option.

Arrived around 10pm after driving all day. Very clean, newly renovated, breakfast was fine for the price and included make your own waffles, hot & cold cereal, bagels, mini muffins, coffee, tea, and juice. My neighbors were not noisy at all but I do see others had issues with noise in the reviews and ear plugs are provided in your room. The hotel room coffee maker had dust in it but we didn't need to use it. Bed was comfortable and room was clean.

I mean, it was 70 for a night. Hard to beat that price with allowing pets. Don't expect anything spectacular, but for just stopping through? Perfectly fine.

The place seemed newly renovated and was very clean! The rooms were really nice and the staff was friendly. However, the walls are paper thin and we could hear everything our neighbors were doing. It was hard to sleep and after driving until midnight all we wanted to do was go to bed. The housekeeper started cleaning rooms at 7am, so with her rolling cart there was no sleeping once she started rolling around because the hallways echoed. Breakfast was very basic. Could’ve used some fruit, but for the price it had bagels, a toaster, and a waffle maker. We tried running the fan all night to block out the noise, but it wasn’t an option on our mini-split. They give you earplugs, but they wouldn’t stay in my ears because they were super cheap. Maybe they need noise machines in each room.

Great experience for a budget hotel. Clean rooms in good repair, AC outlets have been added to the nightstands, USB ports too. Breakfast was adequate but no protein. Easy access to major highways. Pet friendly as well.

Very clean!!!! Was shocked for a 2 star hotel. Will stay there again. Remodeled and extremely clean room. Price was good at 80 dollars. Staff was nice. Snack breakfast unless you like waffles. Orange juice, fruit, and yogurt was what we had.

The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. But the rooms weren’t nearly as modern and nice as the pictures made them appear. This is a dated lower-quality motel. The breakfast was bare-bones. No restroom in the lobby. Walls so thin that they give you ear plugs. And the price was astronomical: $368 total for one night in a 2-bed room (granted, it was Homecoming week). We wouldn’t have paid so much if the pictures had been more accurate.

Everything was perfect!!! Brian was great he was perfect so helpful very funny and OMG I loved his old English lol when I walked in for breakfast everything looked so delicious and I couldn't believe it because not so many places do a great breakfast the way they do fresh waffles, fresh fruit in so much more and as far as my room it was perfect everything was clean and wonderful, I did have a problem with my key and reservation for my second day stay but hopefully I will get to talk to someone about it. but I won't let that get in a way of a good review for them because everything else was perfect and Brian was my favorite (Likewise) as far as the staff ☺️ I do recommend this place when I come back to Charlottesville Virginia I will be choosing this place again...... So if you're thinking about renting this place do it you won't regret it

I rarely write reviews but you need to
READ THIS ONE!
This place is AWFUL!
The building is ok rooms are ok. But the staff/amenities are absolutely TERRIBLE.
I came in soaking wet with a back pack and a suitcase. Trying to check in around 2:45. Now I realize that’s early.. room wasn’t ready.. NO PROBLEM. I asked the girl at the front desk if there was anywhere I could set my luggage while I waited for my room. Her response was “that’s not my responsibility”
Back out to the rain I go with all my stuff to a local shop to sit and eat.
THEN after being checked in for a night and having used both of the 2 towels they give you I asked the next morning for towels. I asked the front desk and the housekeepers themselves. They both said they would bring some to the room.. when I arrived back at the hotel that night no towels… k no problem they forgot.
HERE IS THE PART THAT MADE ME WRITE THIS,
I go to the front desk and the night shift guy is there. I explain the situation and his response was “don’t have any towels”
I tried to reiterate that I’ve asked twice and just need them as the others in the room are still damp and dirty… his response
“Don’t have towels”

HOW?! How on earth do you as a HOTEL FRONT DESK. Not have towels?
I also ran out of toilet paper but didn’t even bother to ask for that. (Got my own)

The staff is rude. And they give you very little “supplies” when you arrive to the room… towels toilet paper etc.

Please for your own sake stay away!!

Always super clean and comfortable rooms and grounds. A quiet place to rest in between exploring many of the close by Charlottesville attractions. Book with confidence. Dog friendly, too.

Positive: Seriously nothing in our price range only but exceeded that several times Negative: Staff is absolutely rude,Hispanic females doin housekeeping spoke no English or pretended not to, will only give 2 towels 2 rags regardless of # of guests in room which is absurd not everyone likes to use towel and rag after someone else, lots drugs

Great, the people are very friendly and the place serves breakfast from 6 to 9 am, there is only one person with skin Blanca, who is very despotic and rude, should be given a good review for customer service.

I find it incredible that they don't know their staff and I'm adding a new photo so you know who I'm referring to. I repeat, there are times when I have to take a medicine at night.

I have asked him for some water or coffee and he tells me that it is not possible while the others allow me.

Just so everyone knows this person is arrogant, especially considering where you come from.

If you are looking for a decent hotel that's about 100 dollars Less than many in this area..... yes I would recommend.
The room is updated with laminate floor new furniture nice clean sheets and bed, countertops, and paint which takes away the old feel of the Red Roof Inns you're probably used to staying in.
The bed was comfortable but I recommend bringing some more pillows.
The shower had amazing pressure as the video shows but don't rely on the soap from the dispensers to get you clean
If You want a good lather you better bring your own soap!
If you're expecting a huge continental breakfast it's basically just muffins toast bagels make your own waffles coffee Juice and some fruit like apples and oranges.
Nothing fancy but hey it's still free food.
I would definitely recommend staying here if you're on a budget. I have paid a lot more for hotel rooms that were not as nice as this one.
I give it 4 stars just simply for the value.

Horrible from a traveler perspective. The elevator doesn't meet safety standards and will close on you. The walls are so thin you can even hear the birds. The furniture wobbles. Room service just walks into your room without knocking. We stayed more than one night and most of the workers don't speak English. Our son is special needs and had an accident. Upon telling the manager about it she made fun of him and said not her problem. We got them to fix the room but were told that men had to leave while they changed the bed. The next day we needed towels and they walked up and threw them at us and walked away. The breakfast is oookay.

Very clean, and daily maid service, breakfast also was much better than expected. But several lights did not work in the room and the soap/body wash dispensers either didn't work well or was not refilled.

Comfortable and clean for its motel type and price range. The bed was a little uncomfortable, but I'm admittedly spoiled by a memory foam mattress at home and not used to firmer types.

Very solid, decent motel. Clean and spacious room, hot shower, plenty of outlets to charge devices, and a nice big TV. Yummy, hot breakfast, with multiple options for everyone. Very kind and helpful staff.

Some of the clientele were sketchy and smoking pot in the parking lot and on the balconies. Once I got into my room, I stated in with the door locked.

Hello! Our stay on May 5th 2024 was amazing and very cozy.
The room was very well clean and stocked with supplies that we needed. Front desk clerk was so nice at check in and check out. Breakfast was very delicious. I really think if your visitors can show proof of being in town for the hospital they should get a hospital discount.
Thanks

1. What is the average roof replacement cost for a residential home?
+-

The average roof replacement cost for a residential home typically ranges from $7,000 to $15,000, depending on factors such as roof size, chosen materials, roof pitch, and labor rates in your area. Premium materials or complex designs may increase the price.

2. How long does roof replacement take?

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
