Stay as far away as possible if you have an older home. Would give 0 stars if I could. Utterly unprofessional in dealing with the owner and his right hand man after our roof was installed incorrectly around our chimneys. Kept getting the runaround when asking for an explanation as to why there's water coming in. Blamed us for buying an old house, saying that's what we run into. I know plenty of old homes who have new roofs put on. We worked with a different person when the roof was installed, and he was polite and answered our questions. He looked at our roof/home before install when he gave us the consult and quote. However, once we noticed the leak after a couple weeks post-install, that man had left so we were dealing with the owner. We did everything we were told to before install, even got feedback from a chimney company saying that our chimneys were old but we did not *need* to remove. Well, water got into our home through the gaps in poorly/incorrectly installed flashing (verified by our insurance agent who came to look, as well as another roofing company we had come take a look and fix) that weren't even caulked, destroying multiple walls. Plaster walls, so not a simple fix. They refused to repair or even own up to the error, simply threw a tarp over our chimney after we begged them to do something so water didn't continue to come in. They even threatened to sue us after dealing with our insurance subrogation officer for literally a YEAR, giving her the runaround over and over. And the warranty they promised on our roof? Still have never received. So $15k later (because we had to pay someone else to fix the chimney), we still have water damage inside. No doubt they will probably comment on this and likely say it's not on them, but please take my experience with this company into consideration when looking for roof work. Their actions imply that they do not care about the people whatsoever. Stay far away.

Also, from what I understand, you can pay to have negative reviews removed from BBB. That seems to be the response they fall back to on these Google reviews.

I had a kitchen fire at my condo apartment and my HOA hires this company to do the repairs. They did a basic repair but the quality is noticeably bad even to many other professionals who have seen it. A lot of the electrical mounts, fire alarms and ceiling fan weren’t put back up, The door frame wasn’t put on, there’s a lot seams showing on the walls and ceilings. They didn’t texturize the ceiling so it looks like a bat cave in here. Just really bad. So now me and my friends have to pick up their slack. you can find a lot of companies that have more pride in their work.

Edit: The owner called me personally. He was a very respectful man and helped clear up the misunderstanding. Rayburn1 was hired by my condo association’s insurance company and they were only responsible for a limited amount of repairs. Mr. Dave Rayburn called me in a very professional way to offer any help and I greatly appreciate it, I apologize for the misunderstanding. Thank you for your response.

We are very excited about having Rayburn 1 build our new home this summer. We have known the owner, Dave Rayburn, for 22 years and one of the things that stands out in his character is his complete and total honesty. We have witnessed many times over the years that he is straightforward, upfront, and completely honest in his business dealings with customers and clients. Dave Rayburn would rather lose a customer than compromise his integrity. He is a thorough builder who doesn't cut corners and will give you the best possible product. He helped us prepare our current house for sale and has been very supportive and informative in helping us acquire an architect, secure a bank for our construction loan, and given us very good insight on what we can expect throughout the entire process. We are so secure with Dave Rayburn that if he were not building our house we would not be building. He's the only one we would use. We highly recommend Rayburn 1. Daniel and Debbie Spurlock
