We cannot recommend Paul enough as a home inspector. His inspection felt like a course in first time home ownership and care. Paul’s knowledge is vast, touching on everything from water seeping into the basement to invasive species in the yard. Paul did an exceptional job with our pre-drywall and final walk though inspections. He was very thorough, took the time to walk us through what he found, and provided an expert write-up on his findings. He took photos of the issues he found and included them in his reports. He also advised on what findings were worth fighting for and which were easily resolved if we were to do it ourselves. His insight and information were (and are!) very valuable to us as owners of a new home. He took the time to point out all imperfections present in the home we are purchasing, down to cracks in the paint and stains on the carpet. Paul went through our house and looked at every detail, his inspection was thorough, with pictures, explanations, and suggested repairs. He really took his time to make sure it was done right. Paul was hell-bent on making sure I, a first time solo home buyer, understood the pluses and minuses of the home I was buying. Paul spent 2.5 hours inspecting the house for my report, and probably 2 hours explaining how something worked, or if something didn’t. He made sure I understood why the repair was important, the level of importance of having it repaired and the potential price of having it repaired/replaced. He explained or showed me, everything thoroughly, and in ways I could understand
