Bought a garage door and opener here and although I purchased a 8 foot tall door, they sent me home with a 7 foot opener. We didn’t find out until we had it installed and wouldn’t raise the door fully. So we called and explained the problem, they said that I should have known better. So we had to take down the installed opener, go back to the home store, for an “extension kit” which involves taking the opener apart and fixing the part to the opener and re-installing it. We wasted so much time and energy, because we thought we would save money.
If I had it all to do over again, I would hire a dedicated door installer, and leave them to selling buckets.
