Pressure washing (Veteran Roof Treatment)

I have used Veteran Roof Treatment twice now. Once for cleaning our cedar shake roof and once for cleaning our hardwood deck. Both times the results were stellar. Based on that I would certainly recommend them. It’s my understanding the owners are moving to Florida and taking the business with them so best of luck to them in their new location.

This is the 4th time I’ve used their services. Josh & Abbie are super friendly, responsive, efficient and do a great job! I just had them pressure wash our home, deck and railings. Everything cleaned is now sparkly again. Even the posts, which had heavy mold, was cleaned thoroughly. I highly recommmend them!

Working with Veteran Roof Treatment to do a soft powerwash on our house is one of the best investments we make. Josh has cleaned our siding, gutters, sidewalk & driveway, railing around our detached deck and roof and we have always been extemely pleased! We've been using them for the last 8-10 years and they never disappoint. Abbie is quick to respond to any question or request and Josh is meticulous in his work & our house always looks fresh & new when he's finished!

I have twice before used Veteran Roof for cleaning my cedar shake roof and have been extremely pleased with the effectiveness of the cleaning and appearance of the cedar roof. This time they cleaned the painted cedar house as well as the roof. As always, Josh arrived within the scheduled timeframe and was very courteous, friendly, and efficient. My next door neighbor said it “looks like you have fresh paint and a new roof”—and I agree!!

I highly recommend the company and the people. Josh and Abbie operate an exceptional business; they are very easy to work with, highly competent, and always reliable. I will use them again and again!!

Imagine being upset about a bad review. You pride yourself on being a veteran owned company but only use your military/demanding man voice on a woman home alone. If you are quoted a price, you expect that and an estimated price on any additional work. Not an entire hour for a small building, I’m sorry you underbid your quoted job to a building that was barely worth an hour(s) worth of work. If you ever want work from them, ensure you get a written price and the ‘timeframe’ around the quoted price. Sorry you took so long to do a 2 hr quoted job, that’s a you problem! ‍♀️ It’s disappointing how a small “veteran” owned businesses, wants business so bad they flex their “veteran” status. I am writing on behalf of a job completed for my parents.

Spring Cleaning season is upon us don't make the same mistake I did!
Got a quote of $300.00 from VETERAN ROOF TREATMENT in Dewitt to soft wash our two story home and two decks.
When he arrived onsite I asked him about cleaning the roof on a 12 X12 shed in our yard, he said "no problem he could do that".
When the job was completed he told me my new total was $475.00 because I added the roof of the shed.
I told him I never dreamed a tiny shed roof would cost over half of what my 2200 two story sq ft home and 2 decks cost. At that point he became very condescending/ rude/pushy and told me "it will be alright, you also had a 2 hour window allotted and I have been here 3 hours and 17 mins".
I had $300.00 budgeted for this job - one would think that a responsible business owner would have told me that adding a small 12 x12 roof would increase the rate so drastically.
This is a husband and wife run business, but I did send an email to the company expressing my concerns, hoping we could come to a resolution or compromise on the situation.
He called me from his wife phone and while using his arrogant voice made it clear that he did not feel like he did anything wrong
At the end of the day he did a good job, I think he underbid the job and was trying to re-coop some money by charging so much for a roof that I could have gotten on a ladder with a hose and some JoMax and cleaned myself.
Lesson learned to ask the specific price before you allow any out of quoted work to be performed.

I am a skeptical person, but while my review will get lost in the sea of good comments, I am very impressed with the cleaning. It was needed, and I will hold them to their 3-year warranty. But I don't think I will have to. Thanks. I think the cleanup following the cleaning was more impressive than the initial service. One thing that I would be curious to see implemented, is before and after photos. Without climbing on the roof, you cannot see what was actually done. Just a thought. That being said, I did see the junk that came off during the cleaning. So, definitely not a ding on this service.

We continue to use Veteran Roof Treatment, and continue to get amazing service and results! We have them do so much more than just our roof -- this time they cleaned the roof, our siding, our gutters, our deck and dock, our patio, and our sidewalk. We have three awnings along the side of the house that are hard to reach and were very dirty and mildewy. Josh did a fantastic job cleaning our awnings and restoring them to their bright color. Veteran Roof is a wonderful service. Veteran owned, family business, prompt and through! We have used this business for 2 years now (once for roof treatment, and this time for power washing and gutters). First off, the roof treatment really works wonders on the appearance of your shingles. In Richmond, the heat and humidity are enough to make moss grow on anything. Last year when we got a patch of it on our roof, we looked into various treatments. Most were for companies that would use the same chemical and pressure to clean your roof as your driveway. This company offered the best reviews, with less chemical residue and enough pressure but not blowing the shingles off. It has been almost two years and the roof still looks great. The power washing has never left any problems with my vinyl siding. The desk was cleaned beautifully, and gave us hope we can get a few more years out of it. The gutter cleaning was new. I finally admitted to myself that climbing up the ladder 30+ feet and slithering onto the roof to clean the gutters was not worth saving the money it cost. The gutters were cleaned well, and the Gutter Stuffs left in them to continue keeping debris out. Billing was easy with the use of Square (so we didn't have to have cash or write a check). All in all this company is a great way to go. My wife and I are so pleased with the results. Keep up the excellent work!

Veteran Roof was easy to contact, prompt, reasonable and experienced. They explained what was needed (& why) to remove moss and other growth on my north-facing dimensional roof, extending its life. They also returned to remove all dead debris remains, as expected. Great job!

Recommended by a friend who had used this service recently. I noticed their home was looking new and asked how they cleaned it since we had mildew and dirt on ours and we’re looking to have it professionally cleaned. We were told it was done by Veteran Roof Treatment and we’re given their number. When I reached out to inquire about a quote I received a response within a few hours asking for my address so that they could use a software program to get an accurate idea of the scope of the job. A quote was sent that was reasonable so we went ahead and decided to use them as well and are glad we did. Making an appointment was easy and they arrived when they said they would. Josh was professional and efficient. We had two structures needing cleaning, and he had it done within a few hours. The end result put a smile on face. The house and garage look new and Josh was extremely courteous. We will absolutely use this company again when the time comes!

This is the second time we have used Veteran Roof Treatment. The first time we had our roof cleaned and this time we had our house and deck cleaned. Abbie is always a pleasure to work with during the scheduling process and it is always good to see Josh come up to the house to perform the work. That is one of the great things about this company, not only do they do great work, but you are getting the owners instead of subcontractors. Josh and Abbie are the one stop shop for power washing and gutter cleaning. Appointments are easy. Abbie answers email in a reasonable timeframe. And lastly, their prices are very competitive. I would not use anyone for these services!

They did an excellent job cleaning our synthetic slate roof! Their quote was competitively priced and professional. Service was fast.

The company responded to my emails in a timely manner, the technician was on time and kept me informed the whole time. My roof and house has never looked better. It looked so good I didn't even know how dirty it was. The only thing that bummed me out a bit was there was still some red clay spots on my painted support beams on my front porch. That area must of been. A challenge because it seemed to not get as clean as the rest of the house. Overall I think I will be using this company again next year for cleaning maintenance.

Josh knows best! His method of roof cleaning is nondestructive to your shingles, unlike most "professionals" with high pressure sprayers.

Anyone can climb up there with a pressure washer and knock years off the roof. If you want it done right, call these guys.
