Powerful Roofing and Construction LLC did an excellent job on my roof! Not only did they show up on time every day, but they also completed the job a full day early, which is unheard of! Additionally, they recognized that my back patio porch cover was not up to code and had a new one built for me the same day! I highly recommend this company to anyone seeking a new roof.

We have a flat, non-peaked roof with no attic. Powerful Roofing were the first company to respond when we noticed a leak in our main bedroom ceiling in December 2024. We set up no-cost visit within the week.
Maria & Diego visited to inspect the leak from the inside, and Diego went up on the roof & found several places where the old torchdown (a mix of tar & fiberglass) had leaked and/or was wearing through. They counseled replacing the entire roof, given all the scattered long-term damage Diego shared with us via photo. They showed me the 80-mil membrane they proposed replacing it with, and gave a preliminary estimate Maria said they would update once they got back to the office and had some more up-to-date materials pricing handy.
This written estimate turned out lower than their preliminary one, and they were the lowest by far of the three or four companies we had look at it. Once I got Powerful Roofing's estimate, I followed up with Maria about getting a full-price bid to include all the plywood they were concerned they might have to replace due to prolonged dampness. I could use this high bid to compare with those from other companies, and Powerful Roofing remained the least expensive.
One note on preparing the bid is there had been some bad backyard gutter & shingle work done by a different contractor several years ago. Years of leakage from the gutter and an area that that contractor had erroneously shingled, had made plywood fall through near the gutter's downspout, and was causing drips in both areas every time it rained. I was concerned to ask Maria how much more these issues might add to the Powerful Roofing bid. She assured me that while of course the damaged downspout area would need replacement plywood, both it and the shingled area would be covered by their original bid. This answer was a great relief!
We signed the paperwork & got on their roster for work as soon as spring weather would allow. This turned out to be the first week of May 2025. It took roughly 2.75 work days, and was completed carefully & beautifully.
We find it great that Powerful Roofing took the time to come out & explain their plan and WHY they suggested it, including an update from Diego each day about HOW they were going through it. This helped in particular as he addressed the replacement & hanging of the new gutter.
Other companies tried to make a good impression upon initial inspection, but didn't really follow up much, and/or were slow to answer questions. Maria & Diego were dedicated to being available to explain what they were doing, and making sure that any questions and concerns were answered, including after completion.
Completion and cleanup turned out beautifully. They did find (and showed us) that all of the old plywood was rotting due to years of exposure to the damp conditions and lack of ventilation. They therefore made sure to take out & replace it all, and then installed new rain-safe ventilation towers to keep the interior of the new roof structure dry. They even added a membrane guide for the drainspout to the replaced gutter; they had thought of everything!
They matched paint colors for any visible areas where they worked, at no additional cost. As Maria had pointed out when pitching the idea of a new roof on their first visit, the top lip of the flashing around the roof changed once done from the brown it had been previously to the white of the membrane. It ended up looking great, well-matching the white frames of our windows.
As an unexpected bonus, with the white membrane (rather than undamaged silvery grey to damaged black torchdown), temps inside the house on hot days have been anecdotally cooler so far!
All in all, Powerful Roofing dealt with any concerns we voiced directly and earnestly, and did their work quickly, carefully & beautifully, at a fair price that was considerably lower than others. They warranted their work and materials, and made it clear through their actions that they would be responsive, if ever we have a need or concern.

Our roofing project was an excellent experience from start to finish. The initial evaluation was very thorough and they came back with the most competitive bid. The crew worked very hard and very fast and did an absolutely great job under extremely dangerous conditions. They even took care of a couple of other issues that I hadn’t expected them to address. This is a great company to deal with!!

I was so impressed with this company! I needed a detailed report of what was wrong with my roof for divorce proceedings. Their inspector took photos and they prepared a clear, elegant report about all the issues and plans/cost to fix. It made things incredibly easy for my lawyer.

When it came time to actually replace the roof a few months later, I remembered their great service and called them with an urgent roof leak. They fit me in the same week and sent organized paperwork, color selection, and plans to execute so I knew exactly what to expect as the homeowner. My roof was admittedly a mess, and they gave me a fair price and didn’t drive costs up significantly as they discovered more to do once they ripped up the bad shingles (likely because their inspection was good enough that they knew to plan for this).

They were the only company to recommend an asphalt membrane on a low-pitch area of my roof that had caused problems for me. They recommended other weatherproofing membranes and venting and found things the previous homeowners had tried to cover up. All of these fixes were included in their initial quote, which was midrange for the many I got, and other companies did not include these additional layers of protection. They installed a porta potty for the workers in advance of the project so no one would ask to use my bathroom, had it serviced 2x/week so it never stank, and had it picked up when they said they would.

The work was performed quickly and professionally with good cleanup. My home inspector neighbor even remarked about how quickly the Powerful Roofing team was in and out and what a good job they did. I cannot recommend this company enough for a great product, professional and helpful interactions, fair pricing, and attention to detail. I wish I had another roof for them lol. Hire them!

Powerful Roofing just replaced my roof on my house and garage. They were very quick with a quote and great about getting back to me. The house was not an easy project given it's a two story with limited access and fragile plants near the house. They did an excellent job of protecting plant, completing the job quickly and thoroughly cleaning up the site afterwards. Their communication was outstanding throughout the entire project. You will not find a better company to work with. Excellent craftsmanship, price and integrity. I'd give ten stars if I could.

Powerful Roofing was prompt to give me an estimate for a new roof. They came in with the lowest bid (I got 3), and were able to complete the job in 2 days! The roof is awesome, and Diego came back a few days later to unclog a downspout at no additional charge. This is a great company, and I highly recommend them for roofing or gutter needs.

My family and I are super grateful for Powerful Roofing and Construction LLC! From the moment we reached out for a quote to the end of the project, their customer service was impeccable! We had a lot of questions remaining after our initial consultation and they were willing to come back to answer our questions. Our budget was pretty tight, and they did their best to provide a quote that was within range of our budget which we greatly appreciated. Diego and his team showed up on time all three days of the project and they left everything spotless. There were a few hiccups during the project, and they communicated those issues to us and presented options to fix the issues and helped us decide what was best before continuing their work. After the project ended, Diego did a full walk through with my father to show him what the crew did and answered all of my father's questions/concerns. I can't recommend this company enough!

We had another fantastic experience with this company this month! Diego came out a few weeks ago to put moss remediation on our roof, and then he and his crew came out today to brush off the moss and to thoroughly clean the roof and gutters. They arrived when they said they would, and worked quickly and efficiently for the time they were here. They cleaned up the area beautifully just before they left. Their prices are fair, and there are excellent contact and updates from the office.

One of the best things about Diego and his workers is how friendly they are, not just with me but also with each other; they're easy to work with and treat their customers with respect and are fun to have around!

What an outstanding company! From the moment of our first contact with Maria and Diego to the final cleanup, we were treated with friendliness, respect, and great communication. The estimate for our repair was fair, and the job was completed quickly and with great results.

Diego and his work crew were wonderful to work with; they were friendly and respectful of our property, took care to keep the necessary mess well contained with their tarps, and worked very efficiently. Maria's communications with me were very much appreciated; she kept us well informed with the work that was going on. She provided us a helpful list of what would be happening just before the work started.

We have a very long, steep driveway, and the crew even backed up the trailer all the way up because we don't have enough turnaround space; that was amazing! They also left room for us to be able to get our cars out if we needed to.

When the job was finished, Diego very carefully picked up any loose nails; not a one was left. After blowing off the deck directly under the roof repair, he kindly blew debris off our lower deck, which wasn't even impacted by the roof repair.

I have been very happy with this company. I had them do a new roof and gutters for me in July of 2024 and everything was great. They showed up when they said they would and got the project done on time. The bid they gave me seemed very affordable compared to the other bids I received and the final price was the same as the bid. Maria was very helpful in answering all my questions (I had a lot) about how things would be done different ways it could be done ect. I would recommend them to anyone and they will be the first bid I get for other projects around the house.

We loved meeting with Maria and Diego--they were clearly highly competent and great people, and we would love to work with them in the future. They're extraordinary! I am a patio cover contractor and the first time we used them we were impressed and we haven't stopped. The first time we called, a real person picked up the phone and she asked us all the questions that matter for a patio cover roof. They came out the next day and they were 5 minutes early. I told them I needed the roof to match the existing roof and she knew exactly which product would do it. They gave us a quote before all the other companies did and they did the work twice as fast as the other guys we used in the past. Their work was impeccable from the vents to the flashing to the shingles, to the clean up.

We recently bought our first house and knew we needed to get the roof and gutters replaced. Working with Maria and Diego was an absolute pleasure. The communication was a breath of fresh air. They were always willing to answer any and all questions and were more than helpful with us wanting to change the replacement date. I loved meeting and working with Maria and Diego who are the owners - they do the inspection, they make recommendations, and they were on-site (and on roof!) for every part of our roof installation.
